There are a lot of people here in America that absolutely can't stand Trump. That didn't vote for him and wish that what is going on in America is just a nightmare. \nPeople are protesting , wishing more politicians would stand up to Trump and the government he is creating. \nHow can people be so blind to his ways. I don't hold Canada or any other nation raising the tariffs. Im beside myself on the way my country is going.

As an American, it's refreshing to hear someone speak intelligently from a leadership position. Well done Sir, stand your ground. I'm embarrassed to be an American and scared at what the next 3.75 years is going to bring to our country.

I’m Canadian. My family have always been Liberals but I’m not much of a Trudeau fan myself. For today, it doesn’t matter whether you like the man or not, Trudeau deserves a standing ovation for his speech and the actions he is taking.
