For Indians, there are 2 key reasons. I travel so much and live away, so I can say this- 1. The growing jealousy on India and the fact most western countries do not want Indians. China is doing it behind the back wherever they can. The second and equally important is the our behavior and arrogance as Indians when we travel and when we stay abroad. We really irritate and upset people around us.

Congress had reciprocal arrangement. To boost tourism post negative PR following Nirbhaya incident BJP let go of it with evisas. Both sides have valid argument but real elephant in the room is behavior and respect of laws and etiquette by our desis. Imagine out of 55000 non compliant student visas in Canada that did not show up to school..20k were Indians. So unless Indians improve there, neither government Modi nor Congress equally can't do much.

Why do Indian need to go to other countries? For business, for studies? Grow the business and do the studies in India. Change the behavior in India for the better. Some Indian behave like uncivilized manner in India & Overseas . Very difficult to Teach them ethics in the modern society . They are with a bad ego and trying to convinced that every bad move they make correct because they are from India. I'm embarrassed by my fellow Indian countrymen at different international airports to see their crude behavior....we can blame religious backgrounds too...

instead , just change our behavior when we go abroad and act civilized. and respect that countries culture.

Many people now days have a negative view of Indian immigrants. USA is flooded with Indian scammers. Many complain about behavioral issues. So, the reputation is not exactly great. I've seen more and more US and Canadians pushing back.

When some one gets visa then they have no boundaries for their behaviors and deeds they forget all the values of one who supposed have on top of it do all nonsenses for the sake of money it is not there faults it comes from the parents who ever comes out of the country they shout stick to that countries laws and guide sets one should not cross

How about a few more major reasons why Indian Visas are being rejected by most of the countries. It's not anti immigrant it is anti -indian sentiment because of our uncivilized behavior, breaching visa conditions and seeking asylum all over the world. It's not western world that needs our talent, in fact India needs the west to export our talent because we can't afford our population. Sadly, government officials are helping the human traffickers to create forged documents and police cases so that they can make a valid excuse. Indians are being hated everywhere because of India.

This selfish behavior has created difficulties for Canadian colleagues, who find it challenging to work collaboratively with these individuals. Moreover, I have noticed that some Indian employees, upon securing a job, focus exclusively on hiring other Indians, leading to a lack of diversity in the workplace. This has raised concerns about racism, as some Indian individuals have exhibited prejudice towards black and white colleagues, often using derogatory language and pretending to work while failing to make meaningful contributions.

I don't care what anyone says, but Indian people, particularly (Punjabs) don't like to mixed with other cultures at all. They don't integrate with the Canadian lifestyle. They don't worked very hard, they are rude, they have no respect for other nationalities, racist as fuck, and the list goes on. I have been living in Canada for 34 years and I have never once felt isolated. Now, I feel like Canada has become India. I'm sorry, Trudeau have turned this Canada into a 3rd world Country. I missed Canadians! I don't have an issue with immigrants at all; as I am an immigrant myself from the Carribean. However, I have always respected Canadian culture and their laws. I'm sorry, India is the number one hated Country on the planet as we speak. England, Australia, & many other countries are not allowing Indian students to enter anymore. The proof is in the pudding! They are just bringing all their bad habits wherever they go. So it's not only Canada that's fed up, there are lots of Countries that cannot stand their attitude and erratic behavior. They have very low standards if you ask me.\n\nI can't wait for the day to see Canadians working the fast food &service industry again. No offense, but I rather be served by Canadians than Indians. Diversity of newcomers made this country good, but now it is just concentrated. Toronto Union station was filled with Indians crossing the track like this is New Delhi..., like they brought their chaos straight into another country. None of us other immigrants from diff nations have brought this kind of behavior without adapting.\n\nAnd for the sake of goodness, if one needs to wear so many layers and walk around the closed space of malls.... wearing deodorant is like common sense and is the basic etiquette for public life in Canada. Very valid points. Lots of great indians here... But over 100x more that are not great. I know multiple workplaces that indians are doing some outrageous unsanitary behavior that is ruining those places. The Indian culture is also ripe with blatant lies on their resumes resulting in many unqualified ppl getting jobs they shouldn't. None of this is isolated.

Canada is very welcoming country, but if you guys bring all of your bad attitude, you are not welcome here. By the way I am immigrant Canadian. I have seen many Indians in Canadian recently and many of them are very disappointing. I also met some very good Indian too. Only Indians can change Indians. It is not only human behavior. Why is other country people are not hated? Why are too many Indians appear within short amount of years? Why is corruption and crimes come from Indians more than any other immigrants? Are you dare to find out those answer? Why is Indian government try to mess with our democratic election? Canada welcome good people who want to be successful as individual, not as to become dominant culture over us and threatening our way of life.

You are absolutely right. Some of the recent Indian imports to Canada and US are totally unsuitable to reside out of India. Their behavior in public, lacking civic sense, lacking sense of hygiene and lacking politeness. I have lived in the States for 50 years. I have never experienced racism ever. I dont blame Canadians or Americans for being fed up with Indians. Unfortunately some of the new arrivals from India never got the opportunity to learn the etiquettes that the Westerners are accustomed to. They don't care and don't even want to learn. The saying 'when in Rome, do as the Romans do' is completely foreign to them.

I lived in Austria n Germany for long, but I never felt or heard foreigner! They treated me equal to themselves. Mind you I had dark hair n eyes, n olive skin color. They didn't find cultural differences in my behavior or food. Actually, I was respected n valied even more than average. They didn't know where I was from, unless they asked. But my look made them guess I was Spanish, South American, or Iranian which they liked. But they were really judgemental towards Turks, Yugoslavs, n others.\nI'm talking abt 1970s to 1990s. How is it now, I don't know.

If you’re gonna move to Rome, then for god’s sake, DO LIKE THE ROMANS. If you’re gonna escape your native country, learn where the hell you’re going and become one with the existing culture there.
