All of a sudden we have to be careful of what Mexico’s president has to say? We are the strongest economy and we’ve been put to the test. We can do with or without. Tariffs mean better competition and manufacturing jobs to increase here in the US; more jobs = more money being earned and spent within our economy. What a slap on our American face with her statement when they’re the ones supplying the drugs. Let’s stop the consumption and see how well their economy and politics do.

My husband and I are engineers from the US and Mexico and have lived in Germany for 15 years. Both speak fluent German and have raised three kids here. Yes, many people are racist. But if you learn the language well it’s not that hard to integrate and then things get much better. Germans can be the best friends you’ve ever had, much better than superficial Americans, but it can be hard to break through the shell. We have always loved it here. But to be honest with the steadily declining economy, massive scarcity in housing, and no salary increases in years, we are considering leaving as well. The outlook isn’t good for the Automotive industry and we could make double or triple the salary elsewhere. It would be very difficult to pull up our roots now gs better get better quick or we won’t stay much longer.

Canada like many countries who came out fairly unscathed from COVID are facing the same dilemma, they didn't get the massive economical bounce back and the momentum that went with it like many countries who were devastated by COVID. If you look at the data between Canadian household income compared to the US, excluding the top ten percent since the US has much more income inequality than Canada, you will see that most Canadian are doing much better than their American neighbours. And on top of that, we have safer streets, healthcare, longer lifespan and better public education system. What we are missing is more leadership structuring our economy rather than completely being depended on the free market. They are managing the economy rather than facilitating more growth, none of the Canadian political parties seems to truly be engaged with that. We are not the US, we do not have the population to grow a service economy like they do, which has a compounding effect on their economy. We need a more focused approach to managing our resources, including human resource, which requires some planning on the economic side.

As a 35 year old Canadian born citizen, at this point I would love to become a legal American citizen in any republican run state. Our economy is destroyed thanks to the Liberals and it will never be the same again regardless of who wins the election in 2025. Our prime minister is a chameleon that talks in circles about climate change while at the same time flying back and forth to switzerland to visit Mr. Klaus Schwab, who is founder of the world economic forum. Wake up Canadians for the sake of future generations.

If Trump is serious, he'll crash the economy. Deporting useful people is a HUGE drain on the economy. We'll have to work overtime just to maintain the SAME quality of life. We need to banish a lot of unproductive Americans before we worry about those who bent over backwards just to come to our country.

A path to citizenship for Dreamers and people who are under special arrangements (again, like the Haitians), deportations for most others, with a new visa regime for people who have been working in parts of the economy that - to be blunt - Americans won't.\n\nAlso, most of the people here without proper documents are Mexican. And most came through Mexico. AMLO let that happen. Sheinbaum is going to need to address that. Many Mexicans are also greatly unhappy with what's been going on for the last few years.

It's truly down to how stupid people are here. Americans don't realize that the economy will collapse without these people.

I applied and finally received notice that I can move to Canada as a permanent resident. Some of the videos I have watched (but not this one) have put a scare in me about my move - primarily about the future of the Canadian economy, etc. This video makes me feel better about my move and the recent election has made me realize that I no longer understand a good percentage of my fellow Americans. It has been, and will continue to, a very disheartening feeling that my US is, at least temporarily, gone, gone, gone. Regarding the homeless situation, my current American city is smaller than Ottawa by about 600,000 and the homeless problem here is probably quite a bit worse than Ottawa's.

I love Americans. Although that's a general statement and just like Canada, there are jerks there just like here, for the most part I get along great with them. There are pros and cons to living in Canada and the U.S., For the most part, I believe Canada is the superior country. We have a superior healthcare system, superior banking system, superior snacks, and superior safety. However, Trudeau is killing that. He's destroyed our country to the point that one more term, and it may well be expedient to move to the USA. He's destroying our economy, our values, our culture. We have the resources to top the USA in every way, but we've never had leadership to make that happen. The U.S. has a superior economy, retail, and military. Although some may argue that the USA has superior freedoms, I'm not sure I agree with that. I know I don't feel freer when I travel there. I will definitely travel to the U.S. again. I have lots of friends there who I love and would love to see. However, it will take more Trudeau for me to want to move there. Since it looks like he's on the way out, I better just stay put at least for now.

This will cost American economy in so many ways. This mass Deportation will cost upwards of hundred of Billions of dollars and it will take 10 of billions of dollars out of the economy with no plans from Trump to replace that lost revenue. Yet again Trump short sideness will cost America

You cant deport who is running the economy, because then u have to hire Americans that want to make 50 or 60 dollars an hour. How much do you that things are going to cost then

The story is they have no freaking idea how to do this or what they’re going to do.. it’s impossible to deport 11 million people without the country severely paying consequences financially and manpower wise.. this could be a disaster that will have huge effect on the economy.. and again, who is going to take those jobs that American Americans don’t want..? For us to believe this all occurred because these people are 'criminals' is naive. Decades have passed and corporations and government alike had little problem with them contributing and helping the economy. In response to the judging of immigrants. Interesting how we rarely see immigrants on our street corners asking for a handout. Instead they're at work making just barely enough to eventually have their own business in a few years. Latinos are a workforce and stimulate the economy because its a lot of hard work to maintain and sustain this country. Who's gonna do all that hard work when they're deported. Maybe our spoiled and privileged teens? All industries will suffer a void in their workforce causing products and service prices to increase. Billionaires like Corporations, Trump and Musk are the reason you are not doing well, not immigrants. Trumpism is fear, hate, blame and shame politics. Immigration has been a thing since a million years ago, and it will always exist. People migrate. Americans use 1,000 times the resources more than immigrants need. Immigrants don't even qualify to for well-fare assistance. When immigrants are gone and the borders are secured, who will be blamed next for America's problems. Instead of focusing on the greater good and progress for all Americans, Republicans can't help themselves to use their power to address their xenophobia, blame, hate without concern of who and what suffers, families of the working class suffer, and our economy, not billionaires. Mass change and reckless actions based on negative emotions and Ego based intentions of one man, is bad for everyone. Negative energy + negative actions amounts and results to nothing but negative consequences and repercussions. Trumpism is no bueno for America. His approach to fixing immigration will hurt and break America.

Deportation cannot hurt the economy, in fact it would provide jobs to the many Afro Americans who are citizens and have been shut out of the job market in the country.

Secure the border? Yes. Prioritize deporting those who have committed crimes? Yes. But remember that the American economy relies heavily on foreign labour so the process of dealing with illegal immigrants needs to include dramatically increasing the number of immigration officials to get the productive, employed illegals some kind of legal status. The import tariffs are going to cause inflation. Taking away productive workers will further inflate prices.\n\nThen, of course, there’s the illegal immigrants who are entrepreneurs like Elon Musk. There’s no evidence he committed any other crimes so perhaps not. But if not, then just treat all the illegals with the same consideration.

This is gonna cause recession or worse. I wish the American people would be smart enough to realize what mass deportation would mean to the economy.

The American people were swindled by Trump. And he will hurt this economy. And we will deserve it for our stupidity.

Why don't you focus on building America to be better and grearter than wasting your time, efforts and resources on the deportation of immigrants who are contributing immensely to the American economy.
