We the American people need to rise up against our traitorous dictator loving government or we cannot call ourselves Americans.

Basically, Canada's Government has made policies and taken steps that imposed US Tariffs on Canada. You will need to thank Justin Trudeau, an authoritarian leader who is currently Dictator of Canada.

Come on the rest of the decent world we can make a stand against the USA. Don’t buy Tesla. Don’t buy Ford. Don’t buy Nike. Don’t buy Apple. Buy Samsung, Adidas. French & German cars. Buy beers & wine from many countries & not the USA. Then with finances try to avoid American banks & credit card companies & shares. Even at a basic level we can all make a difference. Our governments all need to make a difference & trade more with each other rather than the USA it will be tough & take a while but we can break away from this hideous nation & need to do so asap.

Why are some commentators still talking about fentanyl & immigration as if it has anything to do with whats going on. a psychotic, narcissistic loon who hasn't the faintest clue about government, whose ambition is self enrichment and whose instincts are sel aggrandizement has been elected to the leadership of a country where his unique combination of idiocy, incompetence, insanity, deranged maliciousness and need to exact vengeance on those he feels failed to defer to him sufficiently (or just randomly, to assert himself) can do the most damage. As a Kamala voter and as an American who loves Canada, I apologize for the hideous manner in which my government is treating our neighbor and ally. I will be protesting and doing what I can to stop Trump and Musk from destroying our democracy and our friendships around the world. Canada has known for decades that we have put too many eggs in one basket - selling our resources primarily to the USA. We've had tariffs before and worked with them. Yet we still keep selling to the USA. This time is different. In conjunction with the tariffs, we have an American administration that is flat out insulting Canada. Saying we wouldn't exist economically if it wasn't for the USA. It's at a time when the USA won't promise not to use military force to annex land (Greenland) from a decades old ally. A time when clearly Putin is calling in his chips for whatever he has over Donald Trump. Canadians have had enough. We are directing our governments, provincial and federal, to finally, finally break from the north-south trade links. We need to establish stronger east-west trade links. The resources we have are wanted by many countries if the USA does not want them. It does mean much work within Canada. We need to get our AB-BC pipeline finished as well as the new sea terminal so we can ship our crude oil and natural gas to Japan and if need be, to China. We finally need to get out pipeline to the Atlantic coast finished so we can supply the UK and EU with our products. We need to double our rail capacity for shipping potash, uranium, rare minerals to Asia or Europe. Just as Trump hopes for a golden age of American companies coming home and building new plants in the USA, this will be a golden decade for Canada to create transportation corridors to get our resources to other buyers. America will have to look elsewhere for his raw materials. And we all know what that is - RUSSIA. They've already offered their rare minerals and crude oil. This is all clearly a well thought out scenario from the people working behind Trump to dismiss America's allies and trading partners - have us turn against the USA - as the excuse to open the door to Russian imports into the USA.

They have been putting our corporations out of business that compete with them here by giving those Canada companies subsidies so they can sell their materials cheaper than ours. It’s really crazy how people were so happy to pay more money for everything when Biden’s people manipulated us to think it was important to support Ukraine’s war and that was why prices were going up. Now, no one wants to support businesses coming to the US. \nThere are way worse things than prices going up for a few years. We do need to start chipping away at that $36trillion. We are the 1st country to not go belly up with the GDP ratio to debt as high as ours. Children?! And I want to ask you a question: will you be a silent bystander watching the world plummet into the hatred, redivisions of borders and the rule of heartless convicted “deal makers”? As a Canadian I’m still not clear on how counter tariffs help Canadians? Won’t this just make things more expensive for us? Shouldn’t we just realign our allies for imports/exports? I'm serious about eating grass, I honestly I can't even afford deodorant at this moment ? ?( but I'm being serious about the deodorant) . My husband and I work and we are a family of 4. We don't get any benefits from the government (medical, or dental or anything) on top of that we still need to save money for an emergency. We pay out of pockets the 14,000 for our kids braces because we don't apply for any help. We pay 600 for lab test for both of my kids , honestly I'm just going to go like big foot and live in the wilderness and I'm not going to shave?‍?
