It can be confusing but one can get over it all at once when you look at people from the human point of view. They bleed, they think, they have hearts, emotions and needs like everyone else in this world. America loves to put down Jews, Blacks, Minorities of any kind, sexual minorities like the LGBTQ community. Think of all us in a bus or a cruise ship. We are in this ride for a lifetime. I know for transgender people who in Asian Cultures and Native American know about the souls. Other religions don't punish or discriminate. No human being is perfect. I am not really a fan of the tariffs Trump is imposing like lightning with Canada. I do think they should stop the walk thought to Us boarder security. I think they should however be an equal partner in securing their boarder. I don’t believe it is as much of a fentanyl thing but maybe I don’t know enough details in that.

This would likely really help their economy and change the whole dynamic of all the things Trump has issues with. Fix it at the source not try to treat the symptoms.

Every generation will have a very different life if they grew up in any metropolitan place. My grandfather came to Vancouver 1896. His family of five lived in garages while he built houses. No communication with the outside world. My father went to war in 1940's and experience things many will never see. He worked in Vancouver his whole life. My generation saw the first home computer, cell phone and color TV. and the internet was born. I was always taught hystory in school. My kids tell me , they don't know how people lived the last 100 years other than first nations people, and historical figures. Its not taught. They have no idea how people struggled to survive. My kids and their friends are fascinated by the pictures I have from the past 120 years in Vancouver. People now want everything. They are not willing to sacrifice life style. Since I was a kid and i saw people moving abroad and starting the new life, I only saw them going there in a better country to learn, adapt , and respect the laws and locals. We still do things or festival with our community or shared our cultures to create a multi-cultural events. We don’t lose who we are and our ethnic but we don’t bring them and force into new country. I do feel sorry for those who were under temporary protection orders that should have just applied for citizenship as soon as possible and the majority would have got it .
