Nothing I see suggests to me that the people we've entrusted with enforcing our laws and our constitution will come through for us against this coup that has broken with democracy and simple decency. As an American, I am embarrassed by our leadership. Presidents like Trudeau and Zelensky are men to look up to. They may not be perfect, but they remain strong and confident in the face of the tyranny of Trump and Putin. I live an hour from the Canadian border, and they have been nothing but kind and amazing every time I've ever visited. My support is with Canada, Mexico and Ukraine. It is a dark and embarrassing time to be an American.
