I believe that lack of health care in the U.S. stops many Canadians from even considering moving and working in the U.S. It may take longer to get medical care and treatment in Canada, but everyone is entitled to it. About 30 yrs ago we all paid into it, at our jobs. Not anymore. I believe employers may still be paying into it, but I think now it is just paid for with our taxes. So even people that do not work or are retired, each and every person is allowed it - if you live here.\nThere is also some Dental Care provided for some Children. Very recently,free Dental care is provided for people over 65. It is very new, so I do not know a lot about it yet. Also some drugs too are free for those over 65 too.\n\nPersonally I do not even want to visit the U.S because it seems like a very dangerous place.

Granting visas is a sovereign right. Politicians always play safe for their benefits, but any native should never feel a stranger in their own hometown, it's a nightmare, I'm an Indian, from Kerala, I can't think of feeling and outsider in Kerala, so totally understand what people feel in any part of the world. The viewpoint that was ignored in this video is the that of the Canadians who have been building this country for generations. The only mention of us is of one rally of defeated and frustrated Canadians, who are being victimized and displaced. Companies will no longer hire us - at all - in favour of everyone else. Lets be perfectly clear. The are illegals and immigrants who've met the entrance requirements. I grew up in an immigrant neighborhood. They weren't looked down on. Most developed countries on earth are in the midst of or are preparing to deal with population crisis and depopulation. Strong immigration to the US stems this issue and is actually a huge advantage to the power and continuing visibility of the USA.\n\n2. Deportation and border control strike at the effect of immigration and leave the cause unharmed. People come to the USA because there's opportunities here, so why not make opportunities abroad?\n\nIf the USA were to remove benefits of dealing with china while offering massive incentives for moving manufacturing away from china directly to Latin America, not only would we be countering our Chinese dependency but we would also provide jobs at home and stem immigration. Not only that, but the businesses would be American and be controlled by Americans - a huge incentive to stay friendly to the USA.\n\nI don't know, just seems like our current policy and especially what Trump is suggesting are counter productive and stuck in a bygone way of thinking.

He was only saved by COVID collapsing the economic drive for illegal immigration. And even then, most of the run-up post COVID lockdown was in place by Jan 2021 ( 3:30 ). So he does not have a great 1st term record, despite the hot air. Let's see this time, will be interesting to have the massive military deployment needed to detain, intern and eventually deport the 12m or so total ? Note again how that number has been basically constant over very slightly declining since 2005 see at 4:15 . Hmm, manufactured crisis? ???? Can't wait for the induced Trump inflation. ? But instead, Democrats often seem to do everything possible to favor their presence, especially in certain cities.

Has anyone asked where's Mexico in all of this? everyone seems to forget that they're America's southern neighbor, and they're not helping with anything to mitigate the border crisis. Mexico has to be sanctioned, because they're not actively partaking in the protection of the shared border with the US, they're allowing immigrants to cross the border unchecked, sparing themselves the trouble of dealing with them. They're throwing the ball in America's court, making immigration America's problem. Since they share the border with America, they have an obligation to combat illegal immigrantion but they're not doing that. They want to get rid of their crimnals and the poverty in their country not by enforcing the law and trying to invest in their infrastructure to enhance the living standards of their people, instead they're encouraging them to move to America to find a better life. America doesn't have to pay the price of Mexico being a failed country. They're turning their backs on their own citizens and trying to get rid of them, obliging them to take the perilous journey across the border where they're prone to crime, drugs, rape, human trafficking, sex trafficking, child abuse and all sorts of tragedies but to them the ends justify the means, and they have the nerves to call America racist and inhumane for not rescuing them from the situation that they created for them in the first place. Since the vast majority of illegal immigrants came across the border with Mexico, they should be deported back to Mexico, and Mexico can take it from there, not our problem anymore

Now that she was able to become a citizen, rather than helping her family members to get their legal status, which can be difficult, tedious and very expensive, she could care less if the lives they have already spent decades on building here are completely destroyed. She seems to be fully aware that it can be a difficult process, and I personally have seen that it’s not exactly a fair one either. I have seen some people spend not only years waiting on a hearing or a determination, but spend thousands they scrape together on lawyers and obtaining records, while others submit minimal evidence and get a determination in weeks. Instead of admitting that there are problems with the system and vote for people who are actually trying to help, she wants the same system that made it a difficult process for her to stay the same for them. In fact she voted for someone who is going to make it harder if not impossible for them to come back the right way in the first place. Is she not thinking? If they get deported, that is going into immigration records and when that gets pulled up when they apply to come back it will likely cause any legally efforts to return to be rejected. And who knows how long that will stay in their system? Could be years, could be permanent. Biden’s idea to help those undocumented who are married to citizens to be able to apply and get a temporary visa to stay here while they wait so that families wouldn’t have to be broken up by having the applicant return to their country of origin. That was not just a great idea from a humanitarian point, but they could apply for a job that wasn’t going to take advantage of them by paying below minimum wage, with no rights if they are injured. That could help bring local wages up. They would start contributing back by paying their fair share of taxes, and do on. Republicans in red states stopped it though and are suing the Biden administration for trying to do what? Help people and fix some of the issues that our broken immigration system has caused? \nSorry lady, but you earned your family’s ire and whatever treatment you get from the administration you voted for.

This is my first time watching your content. It saddens me that you've come to feel as you do. I'm 72 YO and had the good fortune to be born among people who had survived a world war. They knew bullshit when they heard it. I served in the Canadian Army 1968-74. Like you, I've been a lot of places, and seen a lot of things. I do casual work at McMaster and interact with a lot of people. It feels like somebody else's country. Everyone seems so ignorant of our history. Worse, my Jewish friends no longer feel safe here. The Canada that I served so proudly as a soldier no longer exists. We could liquidate and leave, but these colours don't run.

No favors returned, the money is never paid back, when I needed a favor, no one was available, and when I rescued the dog, no one can help me find a home. so I think the lesson here is help yourself as in the flight attendants say before you can help your fellow neighbor if you don’t believe me question yourself how many people have you helped in your life returned the favor? We can’t save the world ?… there is a process for migration ?…just as ancestors fought wars for democracy —the migrants ought to have gathered their millions and stood for their rights in their country.
