Wow!!!..... now that's a leader every country would love to have.....!!!!

I love Americans, you're always welcome here. Trump has the right to do what's best for America, but Canada needs to start building a strong partnership with more stable and predictable countries like China and certain EU nations. No more blindly following the US in their foreign policy endeavors and wars for Israel.

I am Canadian and I love my country. I love Americans and my American family. What your President is doing is destroying everything he puts his hands on. He just wants to rob everyone of their natural resources and make them pay for the US border. We are not responsible for your side of the border. It's not our job to pay to fix your problems. Yet our Prime Minister is pouring billions of Canadians' tax payers' dollars on this. He needs to stop because nothing will get solved until your president stops what he's doing and starts paying for and fixing the problems within the US. I hope he gets booed off the podium tonight.

I’m a US citizen and I so sorry that the Trump Administration has chosen to do this to Canada. As a german I can okay say wow. What a difference. That’s the way a leader of a country should speak and behave like. Not like that child and clown in the Oval Office who is so much in love with himself. Do the people of USA even have the slightest clue how the country looks like to the whole world for so many years? Amerika used to be THAT country everyone wants to go to finally see it. Now it’s the least interesting place in the world I want to be.

Trump is good a being president in many ways because he is a business man, not a politician, but in business it's about dominating the market place and your competition, bending them to your will if you can, but when you are president, you need to keep alliances with other countries, not dominate over them, otherwise you weaken your position on the world stage. When you are at the top with the biggest economy, army, you don't need to beat down those with less, you need to keep them on your side so their strength adds to your own, which is why you are at the top. Even a mafia boss won't beat down those under him, unless he wants war, and lose his position as others form alliances to take over top position as no powerful person, president, country wants to be beaten down into submission by anyone, so they create other alliances to match or overtake those at the top. In this case, Trump needs to play the politician or weaken his position, and China will be loving this as they are next in line.

Not my place to say, i love American people as much i do for Canadians, but go out check in the world, most countries do not like America bcause of this kind of policies, aggression and hatred. No woder he has only ONE LONE friend, Putin.

I find myself (United States Citizen) cheering for any country imposing tariffs on the United States. Put the largest shit stain (excuse my language) on Trump's presidency. It is the only way his brainwashed followers will understand. Make things expensive and make them think twice about who they voted for. I would absolutely love for them to be able to watch this and understand, but they have been brainwashed since 2016. The only thing that will be real to them, is the impact on their finances. If you do that, the 2026 midterms will be an absolute wave of republican seats flipping Democrats.

On the note of minerals, I would love to know, just how much of its mineral wealth and 'sovereign' land does Ukraine have to forfeit to satisfy the US and Russia... Probably all of it. Who said everything is politics, because this difinitively is purely a business transaction. The US only need to protect their freebie, whilst Russia bites another chunk out of the country.. Why can’t we have a real leader like this! Instead we have a belligerent egomaniac Russian asset as president. He shouldn’t have even had 10% of the vote. Y’al knew better but didn’t vote better because of many superficial reasons, among them, sexism and racism. Now all of us Americans are losing. As an American, I've been trying to work out in Alberta as a Pipe Insulator for over five years with no response, but you guys let in other foreign nations. How about you give the people in the US citizenship if we are seeking refuge.
