Canada population is doing to fall in the next 20 years.

I understand. I'm going back to Europe after 17 years!! I'm a certified teacher with a brilliant teaching career in Europe and I cannot teach here. Everything is so expensive and I cannot make it anymore. I agree, it's just very sad, it's our life, our dream. I came to Canada with a lot of love and with the willingness to give all my heart, potential, abilities and skills. I cannot make it anymore...my soul and heart are slowly dying. I'm 55, I cannot end my life working two or more jobs and moving every two to four years because landlords keep kicking out of the house old tenants because they raise the rents. Over $3000 a month. Who can afford that? I'm a single mom. Buying a house is impossible as well...\nSo I'm going back to my country. I'm packing my 17 years of life in a few suitcases in one hand, and my son on the other hand. My heart feels heavy and abundant tears are falling off my eyes, but I'm sure that we are going toward a brighter future and surrounded with the love of family and friends.

The biggest concerns here in my opinion are the non-permanent resident numbers, and the overall immigration targets. What's stopping them from falling under the radar? Is there any tracking to make sure they leave when the time is up? It's very poorly managed. Secondly, Canada's immigration targets are way too high under these Lieberals. The target should be what Canada can accommodate and what makes business sense, not flood the system with voters for Justin Turdeau.

Jobs are everywhere but employers know that immigrants are more disciplined, hard working and appreciative of the opportunities provided, when compared to the average Canadian-born citizen. I hear a lot of the same, too many immigrants, but we've always had immigrants coming in, majority of people in Canada are immigrants ever since 1960s policy changes. The problem with allowing immigrants in NOW is that we don't have jobs and we aren't producing anything to give immigrants real jobs. A lot of companies are folding in Canada or mass layoffs. We aren't creating wealth. And the institutions are solely relying on Immigrants to keep their schools profitable. It's a vicious cycle that was working, but now that the house of cards are falling, there is no way to clean it up, without a complete reform.

It’s very sad and sick. What’s happening to people in Canada? It shouldn’t be happening they have to clean it up. I understand people fall in their lives but they gotta realize they need to not give up on life. That’s what happens now. I landed in Toronto in fall of 2006, its like a paradise for me at that time, a two bedroom apartment costs only $750, everywhere is clean and neat, I never saw a single homeless people, now everything degraded, very sad to see Canada is sinking, I'd like to call all Canadians vote Trudeau out.

Last December, I spent THREE DAYS in the Emergency dept waiting for a bed and to be admitted. My ailment? I was suffering from bacterial pneumonia. They bungled my medication as well. Canada's healthcare system is a joke. I was born in Canada and have watched the deterioration of our once once-vaunted OHIP system fall apart through mismanagement. Sad state of affairs indeed. It’s hospitals, schools, gov’t service centres—not only is everything expensive, it’s inefficient too. I started to watch how Canada is falling videos since 2020. At that time still indians are planning to move to Canada. And today this is the mainstream youtube news. \nBut one thing for sure is, once the dust is settling down, indians will move in large number in Canada once again.

While Canada is indeed a beautiful country, especially from spring to fall, there is no doubt that it has fallen behind severely in recent years. This is a massively underperforming country and people (Canadians and immigrants alike) are struggling big time. There is a massive leadership problem in Canada, where trivial problems get 99% of the attention. Real problems (which are easily solvable by the way) get little to no attention at all. I don't blame you, I was born and raised in Canada and its not what like what it was 20-30 years ago. On top of a crappy climate and endless gray days, terrible health services, falling standards of living no thanks to Trudeau. Canada's golden period frankly in the 1970s its been in decline since overall, there was a brief boom in the late 2000s/early 2010s under Harper but its all but evaporated.
