I'm an American, I didn't vote for it, it's madness. I appreciate Canada realizing it's not all Americans. That means a lot.

This trade war has nothing to do with fentanyl, Trump is a turncoat aka treasonous person who has been working with Russia all along and is using any and all excuses to cause people to look at anything else but him as he lines the pockets of his billionaire buddies because America gave him that when they said a president can't be charged for anything they do while serving in the White house. Thanks a lot supreme court and to all those that voted for him...... I hope you all get deported and lose all your money for putting us Normal non radicalized Americans through h3!!. It's insane how people are so blined that they know he lies and is a criminal and when hit with hard facts he calls it fake news and they all believe it. My own mother in law is one too. I hate this

What Trump is doing is making everybody kiss the ring on his finger. He wants to be. God in a lot of peoples lives. He is a bully, narcissist, trying to be king sitting on a throne.

There are tRumpites in a lot of Northern states who are going to see just how strong Canada is. And its part of the British Commonwealth of Nations. Americas only friend now is Communist Russia.

Im honestly scared. I'm already struggling like a lot of Americans. I don't know what's gonna happen.

It's so bad that you have to paint Trump's belly in order not to make things worse just because you're telling the truth.\n\nAnyway, I have a lot of respect for Trudeau, he's a REALLY smart guy. I wish we had him as chancellor in Germany, instead of Darth Merz Vader who unfortunately awaits us here for the next 4 years. But well, one look at the USA is enough to see that it can get much, much, much worse.

I care less about his opinion than that of CNN. Which is saying a lot. He is far and away the worst head of state in the Americas. I've left things in the toilet more qualified to lead a country.

My president does not speak for me, or a lot of us Americans. I stand by Canadians, Ya'll our closet allies and fiends. \nOur president is hurting us an our best neighbor, its just sad

The sense I make of it is that it sure looks like trump and putin plan on carving up our world BY STARTING WORLD WAR 3. Lots of war money to be made and Putin gets Europe, trump gets North America and China can have Taiwan for starters. That’s why trump talks about Canada and Mexico being part of the US…THAT’S THE PLAN. And Elon gets to steal all our data to feed to AI for total surveillance and control. This is a corporate takeover of our world and we cannot let it happen.

I voted for Trump, but it's hard not to agree with Trudeau on this even though I find this guy to be extremely unpleasant. There's no reason to start trade wars all over the world and in particular with our neighbors. It's one thing to threaten tariffs and a very different thing to actually apply them. If you do it has to be accompanied by a lot of diplomacy so that the other country is not overreacting, but Trump has been super combative prompting our neighbors to respond in kind to save face. While past deals may not have been great for US, this is not the way to handle our differences. Billionaires like Trump and his friends will be fine, but the majority of ordinary folks in the US and Canada will suffer. Very dumb, indeed.
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
Sorry to our closest ally. Trump, the dumbest president in American history, doesn't represent majority of americans. He is a bully and a coward. I'm sure a lot of his supporters have regretted they voted for him. They are feeling the pain and perhaps lost their jobs, too. This moron is 100 percent lunatic.

We're getting so close to Jehovah's kingdom!!! As bad as it is and will get a lot worse because we are still under the god of this wicked system is Satan the devil. Jehovah has allowed men 6 thousand years fo try and rule over themselves. Everyone can see what a disaster it's been. God's kingdom with Jesus Christ as our king will rule with love and provide real peace and security !!!!

From Denmark ?? \nThe government in USA keeps being aggressive towards all its allies, tradepartners, neighbours, Nato, ukarine, and so on.\nUSA president creates a lot of problems for everyone, and even tries to twist facts every one beside Russia & Northkorea.\nTrumps might take US down in the dark the next 3y+\nWhile the rest of the world will work even closer together.\nSeems US want to isolate them self with other dictator stats like putin...US have there own big problems to solve, mainly with their own president & so-called puppet vice president..vance.

It would be a lot more fitting if this baby were to actually be drinking from a bottle while he got on TV and whined??? wait maybe the reason he says what he says is that he's been hitting that bottle a little bit too much lately??? we call it the Nancy pelosi affect here in America

We have half of the American people to thank for this, as they voted for this bafoon back into the White House!!! I’m sorry Canada that you’re having to deal with this…a lot of us Americans don’t deserve this either, but apparently this is what the majority of Americans want. I’ve never been so ashamed of my own country before. Today, this year, this era is a sad time for American’s history.

Trump is a criminal and the world's biggest traitor on record. He is not the brains behind it though. It is the rich right wingers like Musk and Putin. The US dies not get shared intelligence anymore because Trump is probably passing info to Putin. He is just a kao dog who would prefer to play golf and get told what to do. Stand firm Canada. The EU is with you and will help in any way it can. I feel the majority of the US is also on your side, and I do not see Trump finishing his term in Washington. I think the people are protesting a lot now, and it is rising!

Over half of Americans are uneducated and lots are ignorant too, yes- but the smart ones stuck here are TERRIFIED, we are so f*cking scared that we are going to turn into North Korea. Anyone not from the USA trust the smart ones screaming for help- our government fills our foods with poisons and we are all weak but a lot do want to fight this evil

Putin is rubbing his hands, lailughing and drinking champagne today. Youre playing with fire America. The UK stands with Canada. A lot of people are boycotting American goods in Britain. I for one will be buying as much Canadian maple syrup as i can afford! (A small gesture i know!)
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
Speaking from the UK here, the British people love both Canadians and Americans, but on this one we are taking one side, and that side is Canada's. We know a lot of Americans do too.

TRUDEAU’s government has made Canada more vulnerable than ever before! Trudeau has scared away investment, carbon tax has chased away industry to non-carbon tax countries. Canada’s over dependence on the USA market and cancelling pipelines has left us without alternative trading partners! Trudeau has destroyed Canada a lot more than Trump!

Proud Canadian here. So, we all know, including the Americans, that trump is a moron. In my books, he is the economic equivalent of Hitler, and no different from Putin. But my question is, how do you Americans who voted for this bully, feel now? I get it, a lot of American are against what he is doing. But the majority of you voted him in.

The problem is that they have compromised the vote tallying machines. No matter how many votes are for normal candidates, it will subtly change or drop votes so the MAGA candidate will win. Check out Election Truth Alliance (EPA), they have done analysis of Votes from Clark County, NV (they provide granular detail on votes. Other counties, states are being processed now) and have found a lot anomalies that show manipulation. The same manipulation is found in Georgia (the country) and other places where Russia has been meddling. The results always stay under the threshold that would require a recount and audit. The phenomena is called the Russian Tail, you can guess why. It's statistical stuff so it's dry, can be hard to understand, and isn't an easy sexy concept to explain. Educate yourself, be aware that it is a problem that has to be dealt with as the next round of elections come up.

American here. Not all of us are with him. A lot of Americans did not want him. We don’t back trump. We are just as disgusted and find him just as abhorrent. He does not represent American values. I stand with Canada and Ukraine and all of the countries he pulled aid from. I’m sorry.

He did exactly what I thought he was going to do the tariffs are targeting American farmers and food production we sell America 80 percent of our potash. I mean buckle up America your food is about to get a lot more expensive from the moment it starts growing till you buy it.

Trudeau speaks EXTREMELY well. He makes a lot of sense and he's very clear and articulate. He cares about his country and wants to protect it. Unlike Trump. ? ?

As an American that lives in Canada, this is strongest Trudeau has looked in years, but don't fooled. There's lot of garbage and corruption that follows him in the years he's been in office. But at least he's showing strength on his way out.

From Germany: I must honestly say that I admire Canada and hope that Europe and Canada can do a lot to counter the madness of Trump and co.

Indians have used Canada like a flop house. Indians go to diploma mills and try to use it as a backdoor to stay in Canada. They take over Canadian communities and try to turn them into India - making the locals feel like foreigners in their own home. They're also involved in a lot of crime. This includes: auto theft rings, synthetic ID/credit fraud, gun and drug smuggling, and one of the largest gold heists in Canadian history at Toronto Pearson airport. Americans have stated that the top nationality entering the US illegally from Canada is Indian. The drugs they are complaining about entering the US from Canada are almost entirely brought in by Indian truck drivers (Google it and find many examples). A Fentanyl super lab in BC capable of producing over 95 million lethal doses that was busted was run by an Indian. This is now threatening trade with our main trade partner as a trade war has just started. ENOUGH ALREADY! Indians need to be sent home, and banned from entering Canada.

Born and Raised in Canada and there is another sort of comparison I'm starting to see more and more: We have the Stagnation of Japan and the the Personality of Britain. \n\nWhat I mean by that, the people in Canada, least the older ones (Boomers), got very conservative and never wanted to rock the boat and do new things. They had in their eyes a good thing. They had work and owned their home. None of them wanted to risk that so they kept things the same for the past 3 decades or so. Well a lot has changed around the world, and were pretty much the same old. Literally. In retirement. Whats the last interesting thing Canada has done since the Canadarm? \n\nI can think of a number of achievements the rest of the world has done, including many 3rd world countries. But Canada is the same old. This has become our Culture. We don't talk about new ideas. We witness them online, but we're not Creators. We are Consumers. And that is what I think happened to Britain after they got resettled after WWII. Britain is pretty dry. And so is Canada. Hence our forest fires!

Real Estate issue are not a true issue, we are just unfortunate generation where population boomed. After this, when the old die away, a lot of real estate will become available..

In Japan buildings depreciate in value, like cars, so the house I built last year is worth less this year (and my taxes on it are less). When I first got here I thought it was a horrible system, but now I see what a powerful benefit it is. Housing is quite affordable and there are lots of mixed neighborhoods, like mine, with million-dollar homes, small multi-units, and fewer gated communities. We suffer from a blight of abandoned buildings because at a certain point it just doesn't make economic sense to fix up an old (often cheaply made) home. But because home ownership is a luxury, like a fancy car, not a necessary means to accrue wealth, mortgages and rents are low and there's cheap (and small, so very very small) housing everywhere.

An average 3 bedroom home in Ontario is like 750k+, unless you go somewhere where there's like no jobs then they are like 600k, and probably need a lot of work

Crappy healthcare ?? … says a lot about your values … so I’m good ?? ❤️

Can confirm things are going terribly and all the boomers are gunna vote for the exact same government that caused a lot of it because they've been doing well

Let's not forget that the US simply has more capital to put into its industries. A LOT more.\nI could also say they can spend an infinite amount of money on anything - as they can print USD and the whole world pays the price - a loophole Canada just doesn't have.

The problem here is that building more houses de-values existing houses. Your parents are the ones lobbying against building your house. Regulations need to be massively reformed (e.g. ignore nimby's), alternatively there should be a framework for constructions projects to financially compensate local property owners for their loss in value. A lot less nimby's would exist if they got $10,000 for the construction of a new block of flats.

This is what the democratic administration funds with American taxpayers' money it's a fact no speculation. And there still acting like it's no big deal ant they will do what they want . And for thoes taking advantage of what is happening in America today to launch there own agenda within the United States . Don't do it this mess will eventually get cleaned up and then all the focus will be on you . Think about it because there are a whole lot of WHITE people that are not living very well either White , Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, all races. Stop crying ....

Hey: I think you’ve seen me comment a lot here because I have my opinions and I really appreciate your blog.(is that what it’s called?). Anyway, I’m gonna tell you about my cancer story.\nTwo years ago at the age of about 53-54, I realize that I hadn’t had a mammogram in a long time because I’ve moved cities so I was on the list but in another city. So I decided I need to go get a mammogram. I contacted my GP and he gave me a referral within a couple of weeks. I had my mammogram. They didn’t like it within a week. They did it again. They didn’t like it. They decided to do an ultrasound. And still, they found areas that they were not happy with. So within another week, they did two biopsies. And they came back as cancer cells that had not gotten together yet to create a tumor. So it’s called stage zero cancer. Within two weeks I was in surgery where they took out everything they needed to and I was told that I have good margins. I then had six weeks of radiation. Five days a week for six weeks.\n\nSo about nine months after that and that healing, I had a referral to a plastic surgeon. She reduced my other breast so that I was even. That was about eight months ago. And this week I had a further reduction, call it a fine-tuning, to further ensure that I was even.\n\nThis was all done in Montreal Quebec Canada. \nI paid zero dollars, except a few times I may have paid six bucks for parking. \n\nI am cancer free. I’ve gone from a double D to a B, which you know is better than dying. I am so happy that I live here.
