Now there is also a known issue with using GDP data to calculate productivity and that is that in sme countries the labor of GDP is much lower than in others. Where I grew up in California a young Deputy Sheriff, who was a legal immigrant from Fiji whose dream it was to work in American law enforcement, was murdered by an illegal alien while he was on duty. I'm an Australian traveller who went on a solo trip around the US in 2023. I couldn't afford a hotel room in New York so I opted for a Hostel. The hostel I stayed at had many Latinos and upon speaking to them, they were living there for free in exchange for cleaning, reception work, etc. It shocked me that businesses were happy about this exchange of paying wages to actual Americans

I sincerely don't understand why people have an issue with people who came here illegally getting deported. It's not at all racially motivated or discrimination. Whether they are serious criminals or just entered illegally - it is not right for them to be here, or be provided services paid for by tax paying Americans. As an educated American citizen, If I want to move to UK or European countries I have to jump through many hoops, prove I have my own money to support myself, and possibly meet a language requirement.
