Economic indicators say the economy was good. The economy and GDP grew, but the working class didn’t think so. Well, when the number of illegal immigrants per year far exceeds the number of new jobs per year, then the wages of the working class people will not keep up with inflation. Under Biden, the new jobs each year was an average of 1.2 million, but the number of illegal immigrants coming in looking for jobs was over 2 million people. For comparison, under Obama illegal immigration was just 300-400K per year. So as you can now see, the border crisis was a much bigger issue than the Democrats cared to admit.

Its not as simple as deporting all illegals, All those who complain about inflation, now get ready for for the unseen/ unsaid issues th at come along with this way of doing things, it is tied into the economy and will have enormous impacts of pricing and manufacturing. It is always difficult for a new immigrant to find friends immediately but most OECD countries such as Canada would be the same. Clearly there are some cultural issues to understand, and perhaps language problems but finding employment can be a first step to solving this as well as joining those support groups who have a similar background to yourself. If you leave Canada I don't see how this would be any different in the new country you choose to settle in.

In Canada, there is not enough housing and jobs are scarce, especially for anyone at the entry level or basic wage. We've been absolutely swamped. This is not the fault of the immigrants or the students, it's the fault of our extremely stupid and short sighted government. Most of those immigrants I encounter are good people, polite and considerate. But some, well I understand where the complaints about rude and inconsiderate behaviour come from, because it only takes a few bad experiences to get people angry. I've experienced it myself, but most of it (from my experience) seems to be from students who are very loud and impolite on public transit. The housing situation here is INSANE, prices are sky high and very little to choose from. A lot of seniors now can only afford to rent a room (after having worked all their lives and very little to show for it), and prices are up about 50% from only 5 years ago. The government says inflation is a fraction of what it is in real life, and living expenses have exploded. As I understand it, some people made a lot of money offering services to bring students and low wage workers in, with no consideration to the damage they were doing to all of us who were born and raised here - they wanted to make their million dollars. Another problem is that once someone arrives here, what they find is NOT what they were led to believe. What students and immigrants are told they need to live here is an absolute lie, living here in Canada has become very expensive. Many workers are severely under paid, and never even see the legal minimum wage, and the problem with that is, almost no Canadian will be hired on to those jobs - the reasons are that imported foreign workers will work below minimum wage because they are trapped here, and the Canadians already know that they will only struggle if they take jobs that pay so poorly. So yes, a lot of Canadians are VERY angry, and you really can't blame them. Once again, the Canadian government is responsible for much of this, and crooked employers who are willing to take advantage of low wage labour. It's an absolute mess.

I am a born and raised Canadian and have seen my country go downhill for at least the last couple of decades.\nHealth Care: doctors and nurses are moving Stateside in droves. No, the US doesn’t have universal health care but there are insurance plans and the care is enormously better. My girlfriend had 4th stage throat cancer. In Calgary the doctors at some point told her there was nothing more they could do for her and to get her affairs in order. Her father sent her to the Anderson Clinic in Houston - yes it was expensive but they treated her, saved her life and that was 24 years ago. \nIt’s common in our emergency rooms to wait up to 12 hours to be seen. \nOur system isn’t progressive and doctors and nurses don’t get paid near as well as in the States. That being said, I am happy that I don’t have to pay to see the doctor or have a stay in the hospital. \nCost of Living: Once upon a time it was good - housing was cheap and many companies had the full range of benefits and salaries were equal to the cost of living. Now these same companies have stripped the benefits by hiring people under contract so they don’t have to give them benefits. \nRents are through the roof and in Calgary there are no rent caps. Buying a decent house in a decent neighbourhood is impossible unless you inherit or make a six figure income. This, in no small part, has created a homelessness crisis that never had been seen in such numbers before. Crime also is getting worse by the day. Canada was once known as a safe country. This is no longer the case.\nEverything is very expensive and the tax very high. Plus, we have to suffer winter! Where I live, the joke is that we have two seasons - July and winter!\nI still like my city (not love) but I am retired and own two houses - one inherited and the other bought when it was affordable (32 years ago). Calgary would not be a place I would live if I was a newcomer. Vancouver is beautiful but you really pay for it. \nTrudeau has helped make a big mess of things with immigration and lax criminal laws. My beef is not with immigrants I must state - it is with the lack of jobs for them when they come, thereby forcing bad living conditions and an over reliance on the social systems. I add that the immigration population is much more willing to work in jobs they have to take (despite a high education) than our natural and bloated citizens.\nSo yes, Canada has increasingly gone downhill. On a positive note, hand guns at least are not legal and our country has beautiful natural land.

The real reason the homelessness is gotten to be so badin Canada is because marijuana has become legal. I live in a state below that has legalized it as well, and I can see the same dynamic here. I grow it, but what we never took into account were what the social implications would be like after legalization.

However, I can guarantee you that this is false. Many people want to live in Canada, and as French citizens, many of us want to move to Canada. But obviously, as a French and white person, I doubt they let us in as easily as they do Black Africans, Syrians, or Palestinians. I really feel that if you’re African or Muslim, doors are open to you everywhere in the world, especially in North America. Because mexico is less than 20% white. At this point with all the immigrants canada gives citizenship too, mexico is probably more white than canada at this point or will be in the near future. But y'all don't see as that, like i said y'all still think canada is a majority white nation when it's not, and mexico is a amarindiean majority nation when with all the immigrants canada has now, sorry, new Canadians mexico is probably just as white or even more so than canada. So within the last 30 years roughly 500 million Indians were born. Now they all are adults looking for some way to survive. Even 10% or 50 million Indian migrating all around the world is significant. Since most Indians sell everything they have, or take out a loan, in order to go abroad and earn money to help their family - they arrive poor in a high cost of living country. Poor people can't afford big cities - it's cheaper in small towns. So if 200,000 Indians go to a small town to survive....well, you'll see them everywhere, surrounding you, and there is no escape.\nThis is how India will take slowly over every small town, and eventually big cities. Just slow unstoppable migration to every country, every continent. They are legion. I call it Indianification. Every country will become another India.

The Liberal government is out of control. Have any of their plans ever worked out well? It's been covered up scandal after covered up scandal? When you have DEI hirings and them implement policies your not getting the best work done. Trudeau himself has no leadership experience nor has he learned anything since being in office. Trudeau has destroyed our country and he needs to go now. Unfortunately he is holding on to his power by pressuring the Block and the NDP to join forces with him effectively blocking any possibility of a change. We need change asap. Canadians,, even immiigrants are leaving the country, businesses are leaving. We need a leader who will actually tackle the obvious problems we see everyday on the streets in Canada. Our priority is not dental care for seniors, $10 day care and a food program for schools. We are not a socialist country.

I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. I love the fact that you spoke some harsh truths here sir, much respect to you and your family sir. I hope you can continue making such informative videos for people to learn from. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. There is one other reason that hatred towards member of your country is going up and it is simply because our hatred for our own government is so high right now and we are all only human. Some of us lash out at people that do not deserve it when we are really upset. That doesn’t make it ok. But I know that the fact that we Canadians hate our government more than ever right now, is due to the simple fact that our own government is not listening to our issues and what we want done with our country. Then that same government will labels us as right wing extremists simply for the fact that we no longer support our current government for example. Canadians are more angry now than they have ever been. The RCMP have been advised about this across the whole of Canada, so you know it is a real issue. I can control myself and will never snap at others due to how frustrated I am, so I would like to apologize to those of you that may have a bad experience with another frustrated Canadian. YGood day. For from context I'll reveal a little about me. I am around 27% Indian, 34% northern African people which is around 61% combined. My other ancestry includes Wales, Sweden, Norway Scottish and Irish, Hebrew/ jew as in from 12 tribes of Israel, However, the world calls me black Jamaican born. I live in small town with population under 41,000 people in northern Ontario Canada for past 21 years. I remember when I came here with company contracted to build and say very few black people mostly French African and some mixed black with some Chinese probably total under 20 people other than white or indigenous peoples. Over the years was steady increase of black, Chinese, Philippino, and my Indian doctor and his family to maybe total around 50 none white none indigenous peoples. Just before pandemic we had a large number of Indian students which was awesome to see considering my heritage as my grandmother on dad side was Indian. But a year before pandemic we noticed many started working in convenient stores and fast food places like most high school students do to save for college/university which was becoming a problem for Canadian students as some employers got incentives or cheaper labour to maximize profits. As pandemic rolled in so it seems more Indian students from other regions in Canada. So, Canada, Ontario, and small town I reside already had huge housing problems as some homes we even to be condemned and indigenous homeless from north increased crime rates and now we had students living beyond building code occupancy with shared living causing rentals to shoot up in prices as landlords became greedy and selfish. This small town of under 41,000 is by some estimates over 55,000 by increasing Indian students who for past 5 years fighting to get permanent residents even though they came as students which proves the goal was always invasion and coming as students was the ticket. If you and rest of new immigrants don't see the problem yet, I'll continue. 95% of taxis have Indian drivers, 98% food and other delivery Indian, 90%+ convenience and groceries, clothing and all stores 90%+ , vehicles on roads 70% Indian, my son barely got into college with 90%+ Indian population in college and his class is 2 white students, himself only mixed , and 2 Africans and 22 Indian students who cheats on a regular basis but professor afraid to confront as they are quick to call racism. But even bigger for me is these Indian students/new immigrants have no respect for the history of Canada and USA not knowing how indigenous peoples were raped tortured and murdered to take over this country and then enslaved African people to build this country while they raped tortured treat less than animals and still suffering with fighting for equal rights for over 400yrs while still being racially profiled and beaten and murdered by police officers because of this colonizers system. I see a lota comments saying this is one-sided. I cant speak for anyone else but this has been my experience as well... I've been to the Indian Embassy in Wellington, Nz multiple times to submit my applications passport renewal, police clearance etc and girls at the counter were unnecessarily rude & very unhelpful.. I've never received this sort of treatment from kiwis in Nz especially those sitting at customer service desks. I'd worked in Customer service for 7+ years and its very sad to see Indians (not all; some are good but very rare) are the worst and rudest to deal with. Because of this Indian generally have a very bad reputation in Nz; and by the looks of it, in Canada & Australia too..

I see a lot of comments which are mostly against the international students and are some racist as well. I can understand the pain of Canadian and i am also a canadian now (immigrant), It is a total mess created by the government where government used international students as the cash cow from past 7-8 Years. Its the fault of both sides but the major culprit is the government. I was a also a new immigrant to canada in 2012 and I thanks alot to the open arms welcome for the immigrants by the canadians but when you put a pinch of salt in food its taste good and its was all good until 2015-16. but the government started putting the full carton of salt in small bowl of soup which made the food bitter now not just for the canadian generation but the immigrants which moved to canada before 2016. I hope in the next coming years things will change for canadians. In the last I would, If someone don't wants to welcome me in his home then I should not enter to his home. we should respect that where ever we should go not just canada, it applies to any part of the world and to everyone.

Well thats's expected, Canada has nothing much to be offer except the permanent residence. Quality of our tech education even at top institutions is not top notch. I am in software/machine learning (fancied AI), born Canadian who did bachelor's and master's from University of Waterloo and moved to US for my PhD in 2014. Sorry to break this but even top universities in Canada come nowhere even close to top 20 in US when it comes to American universities. I completed my masters in 2011 and was doin some junk work in Canada as tech industry is light years behind US where all innovations happen. I was literally shocked to see the difference in education and quality of work after coming to US. Canada only wants blue collar workers, realtors and truck drivers.

The only thing I would say cause you seem to be very young. Is that brampton actually in the 70's and to early 2000's used to be mostly a white and black community and then other cultures. I am born in Toronto I have a cousin born in Toronto who currently lives in brampton she owns a house in brampton for about 25 years. And is going through a lot mentally with the slamming. We got of people from India mostly in the last 2 years, but it's been going on slowly over 10 years and she's not doing well with the overwhelment of Indians and we're of black Jamaican heritage. So just so you know, brampton used to actually be white and then black was actually the second largest population and everybody else was after that. And then in the last 10 years they started coming but it wasn't in hundreds of thousands and then in the last 2 years it blew up insanely. As that man described is like an invasion. I now live on the West Coast of Canada and the same thing has happened here. And it's been a lot for me Canadian born. I've always grew up with every culture. I've lived and worked around the Indians that used to come here were literally not even on the radar. I mean you see them, but you just they just blended in because most of them had assimilated and were doing their lives. The breed that has come over specifically in the last 2 years is what is making it even worse cause if they acted like the ones who came before 10 -20 -30 years ago. They probably wouldn't stand out, but then again when you bring in almost a million, into all of Canada, they would stand out, but maybe people wouldn't be so agitated, if they had tried to assimilate and be respectful to the other cultures here and that is the number one complaint I hear anytime, I see interviews. Is people saying they don't assimilate? They're very rude to anybody who is not them. They are just interacting with the environment. The way they do at home, Canadians are more quiet and try to be respectful of other cultures. We like to just have their own space and our own peace when they're moving throughout this space and a lot of people describe the energy of the Indians coming in almost evasive into your space and then not really carrying anything about invading ur space. They act like, so what's the big deal if I'm in your space and that has been the number one issue is just the rudeness. Not assimilating and imposing their culture, speaking their language, not attempting to integrate with other cultures showing actually a lot of racism to some of the other cultures. And that has been the biggest problem. So just so you know, cause I can tell you're young. I'm North 40 years old and I can tell you. The demographic change has been so intense everywhere in Canada especially in the last 2 years. That I have even seen podcast with Indian people who have been here 10 -20-30 years, saying the government needs to figure out a way and get a good swath of these people gone because they are. Staining them with a negative brush. Cause I can tell you. It's only in the last 5 years. That I notice Indians. I've grown up around every culture. And I just don't notice individual cultures in that way. Until in 2022, Trudeau took the guard railsl off the foreign worker program and the student Visa working program. And just said Hey, anybody want to come bum rush the door now? And India is known for having middlemen in India that work with Fake Diploma Mills scholls with brampton having over 80 of them that the middlemen work scamming Indians by telling them if they pay anywhere from $5000 all the way up to $50,000 even higher to get fake school acceptance letters, so they can come here to get the word permit and work full-time or with companies that provide fake LMIA job offers on the black market, which is illegal under the I.R.C.C, but that is a thing that they had prior to 2022. And when Trudeau took the guards rails off when it comes the requirements and basically. Made it a free-for-all and as India already had the scamming infrastructure in place that kept their population moderate and it just allowed th scammers to go nuts, so that's why we got mostly Indians. Other cultures do it too, but it's so tiny. It's not noticeable. The Indians already had the infrastructure in place that when they took off the guard rails, it was easy for them to switch and start selling these opportunities to go to these fake schools was over 80 of them in brampton t such a lightening speed. Hence why we got slammed so hard-and-fast with that specific community.That just really we're coming here to work and send money home and that is also why a lot of our banks are now struggling with cash reserved because they're sending money home. The immigration file has been completely botched and mishandled by an inept and very stupid government. Mass immigration without a plan for increased housing, medical staff, infrastructure help, or even increased staff at immigration centres, etc. is madness, and chaos has ensued. I studied in India for several years, and was careful to respect Indian culture vis a vis dress codes, learning Hindi, and behaviour. It is only normal courtesy to do so. It becomes more difficult when numbers increase drastically over a v. short period of time since people coming here are not widely exposed to Canadian culture. This completely inept and corrupt government needs to go: like yesterday. I think of myself as anti-racist, but when I go for a medical test and see that 95% of patients appear to be of middle-eastern origin, while I haven't been able to find a family doctor for 10 years, I do get a little irritated. And I'm a boomer; younger people in Canada are competing for education, jobs, housing, as well as medical care, so I can understand people becoming angry. I think that currently this backlash is against the government, not immigrants, and not one community in particular. I am cynical enough to think that this government went for mass immigration because they have no economic plan for prosperity, and bringing in several millions would raise GDP. But percapita GNP has been falling for 8 quarters, so we are definitely in a recession. I think Trudeau did this so his economic incompetence would not be obvious. Anyway, that's my appeal: we should be upset at a government that caused this chaos, not at individual immigrants nor a specific community.

Out of 100% international students, almost 70% are indian students. From 100% temporary foreign workers, almost 70% are indians. Why the fk we only bringing indians, there is no other fking country on planet?
