The luxury of moving to another country isn’t available to every one of us in all direction, for your case, let us know the reasons you chose the another side with the same details, if possible. I believe you guys were a great value to the Muslim community in Canada and will be truly missed!

I remember canada immigration has a certain standard and requirements. There were different immigration program such as family class business class. When it comes to student visa graduates studies were offered on funding and scholarships.recently we can see number of high school graduates to attend community College. Canadian takes grant student loan to start any program in college and universities imagine international students from developing countries where the tuition fee is almost double I don't understand the screening process of students. It has benefited to consultants and has ruin canada reputation. There are number of videos in tiktok and YouTube of people making v blog on leaving canada. I feel sad. Canada is a beautiful country but the greed of money has completely ruin the reputation.

Unfortunately, Canada has quickly gone downhill, more so in the last decade. Canada is now synonymous with Real Estate scams (highly inflated prices), student scams, rampant drug peddling, and homelessness in major metro cities. And, the sad part is the country's leadership is an active participant in this!

Respectfully as a professional my 2 cents on Canada. It is blue collar paradise. But if one is a highly qualified professional,it is by mediocres for mediocres in a country of mediocres. Of course there are islands of excellence. Sadly they are few and far between.

This is so sad. Canada is such a beautiful country and I love the big trains. As a South African, I would battle with the cold weather. I have however watched the news and saw how the truckers were demonized for refusing the terrible covid jab. To me that is a definite no-thank-you.

Not everybody is that foolish live in cities where you look at concrete all day, and have to deal with pollution, crime, traffic, etc. There are tons of beautiful smaller places in Canada where it's great living. I visited Toronto in 1986 and I've had friends from that city. The whole world is changing and facing the issues you mentioned in your video. I had lived in Seattle before its decline. I'm in Pittsburgh temporarily and I had lived recently in Erie, PA. They all seem to be facing the same situation--housing crisis, homelessness, and crime. And in Pittsburgh, limited social services.\n\nHowever, I'm sad to see a socialist country such as Canada suffer with these ills. If a socialist country can't take care of its people, there's little home for a capitalist country like the US.

Truth. Our once great country is a wreck. Our prime minister with the good hair is an idiot who has ruined Canada. I don't even recognize my home country anymore. Immigrants have been given everything that our Canadian forefathers worked so hard to give their families. It's beyond tragic. It's criminal. Housing and health care are in crisis to the point where anybody can become homeless or die waiting for hours in an ER for treatment. It's sick and sad and unforgivable that our government has set 4th and 5th generation Canadian individuals and families up for poverty and death.

I’m trying hard to understand. I thought when someone goes to a different country to live they accept what that country is about. I’m sad to hear these people say they’re leaving because Canada has some elements that are offensive to them. I though Islam was about acceptance.

The sad thing is that there are basically only 3 options in Canada for living in an urban area and all the crappy suburbs in the country are filled with people who yearn for that type of living, further contributing to higher demand for these already scarce places to live. There are so many factors that contribute to the absurd costs of living in the country and the lack of incentive to live in places outside the 3 major cities is a huge sticking point. \n\n\nImproving this aspect is going to require massive change on so many fronts (less car-dependent neighbourhoods, denser housing, better public transit, among other things), but people are so resistant and fearful of these changes despite yearning for it that they don't realize their stubbornness is a self-inflicted choke-hold.

The crime rate and violence are much higher in the USA than in Canada. I was born and I live in Montréal very happy and feeling very safe in my city and all over Québec. I don't know to who the Canada bashing is serving. Pretty sad, so much negativity that our country does not deserve.

I don’t know about political parties in Canada, but you Canadian people need to switch your voting , think how this current administration party held in power? I grew up in Toronto Canada. It is so sad to say but Canada needs to pivot because it is on a very negative trajectory. I finally had enough and the events that unfolded during the pandemic and where our current government is going made me make up my mind. I sold everything and moved to SE Asia. It's not paradise but my parents left their country to seek better and I'm doing the same.

Nobody said this so I have to; Canada is a country like most western country sell hope for people; however many, not all who comes over these western country find themselves in a hard place; with broken family; broken kids, and just work, work, work, and pay pay pay... when they work all their life, and get old; most have nothing to show for; their kids are too busy for them, most end up alone in a nice place; eventually, they will realize all they have is a nice jail, and kids, and the Gov;t just wait to get all their asset when they past. Sad Reality. There was a time when one get old are surrounded by their family; kids, grand kids, etc... Its now gone!

Canada is and has-been a Christian country and although that is changing, sadly, I do not see it turning muslim\n We do honour our Jews and our Jewish heritage and are extremely saddened and alarmed about the war. This is my 13th year in Canada, I am so sad to see the change, I really hope it will become a better country again with Trudeau stepping down. But we also have to be fair that there are not many countries become better since COVID. Many of you leaving or planning to leave Canada are more like rich country retirees taking advantage of the wage and currency differences between rich and poor countries. So let’s put it this way, if many of you have not worked your whole life here in Canada, will you still have a quality of life in your home countries, such as Southeast Asia or South America? I doubt majority of the population there is make a good money and having great work life balance, and everyone there could afford a decent retirement life. what is more close to nowadays reality is people coming here and hoping they could have a better paid job and settle down here, but most of them found out they are struggling to even maintain their normal life in this country, so they left. For those who came years ago, they made a saving which may not be enough to support a good retirement life here, but is more than enough in other countries, they also choose to flee. Then those successful immigrants will stay here with the option to travel anywhere they want. My son's classmate's grandfather immigrated to Canada long time ago who later become a well known cardiologist and was rewarded as one of the top 25 immigrants Award, all three daughters are now specialists too. I really hope Canada could rise again!

I totally agree with your assessment, however this is my home and I will work to make it better. I’ve travelled to other parts of the world and completely understand that Toronto (and for that fact, Canada) is in a declining position, especially when compared to many emerging countries. It’s sad but I really think that the US Canada have peaked, many years ago. BUT will I move - no. I will travel and Toronto will always be my home. Great video btw.

Toronto and Canada claim to be inclusive and diverse. I know many gay men who have been beaten up on the TTC. One buddy was beaten to a pulp, and no one helped him. People just sat there are let it happen, didn't even call the police.\n\nI would never live in Toronto, I'm leaving Ontario because this province is going downhill fast. In Windsor alone dependence on food banks and homeless ness has increased 500% in the past year. And their solution? To continue to raise taxes and give millions away to China and Ethiopia. It's obvious that you have never lived outside of Canada. Canada is probably one of the last countries in the world that accepts people for who they are and has a decent level of respect for belief systems. I get that you want to raise your children in a better environment, but trust me when I tell you this... you are walking into a world of disappointment. Canada itself is about 15 years behind other countries when it comes to this downwards spiral you are speaking of. Sadly, you will find out soon enough that this utopia you want to find, simply doesn't exist and you will discover you have left the variable comforts and safety of Canada behind. I'm not trying to burst your bubble, but am simply sharing what I discovered when I searched for the same things. I think L. Frank Baum said it best.... if I ever go looking for my heart's desire again, I won't look any further than my own back yard. If you are lucky in life you will discover that the world doesn't stop turning for you, and that the world that you dream of for your children must be created from within. That being said, it is good to travel and trying different ways of living is a wonderful education for your children. I visit Canada regularly since the late 90th. I saw a steady decline in the last years. Get rid of Trudeau and his bad politics. The sad thing is that this happens to many western countries. Currently I live in Germany. The loss of wealth and confidence due to damage done to the economy by the current government is mind blowing. People are angry. Visiting the Netherlands, Britain, France - everywhere I go in the west it’s the same. People are fed up of leftwing ideology, identity politics and high taxes.\nThe west needs to wake up. \nPeople are leaving for other places.\n\nIf one is good in his job, one can live a good life in many places. A friend moved to Colombia - he is very happy.\nI am planning to move my business as well…

Much respect, as an First Nation person, it is with so much sadness to hear you want to leave. But I understand your reasonings. As a person with both parents, grandparents, and great grandparents and so on that were First Nation, it breaks my heart to see my country and what is happening in Canada. I'm a Christian and I can relate to many of the topics you mentioned. Sad how Canada have become an intolerant country.

sadly in less than 4 years our country has declined at a rate I feel like isn't really seen in any other western country. It feels like we are in the death throes of corporate strangulation while being led by people who truly do not care about Canada, Canadians or new immigrants. It's so expensive and inconvenient to live here now it feels almost like some sort of sick financial prison. The government wonders why Canadians arent having kids...

It's a disgrace how Canada has been governed the last 8 years. Government debt is through the roof and that burden has been passed directly to the once so called middle class now the working poor. I am leaving Canada as I can only see life and standard of living dropping considerably. If they stop the idiot policies now, it will take a generation to recover, but i hardly see that happening. The climate activists, gender activists and health fear mongering is controlling policy and brainwashing children. Canadians will accpet things. They will suffer and just accept what leadership is lying about. it is sad. once a great country and a beacon of hope for many around the world, that has been corrupted.

I just stumbled upon you guy's channel by accident, because we are looking to move out of our country as well and Canada was actually a possible option. (not likely now) \n\nI am not muslim, I am just a regular western white girl, with priveleges I never knew I had until a few years ago, and looking at the world with increasing disgust and sadness. \nI completely understand why you'd want to move away from there, and even though I am not muslim, some of the points mentioned here are also reasons we want to leave where we are now (Netherlands). \nSociety is falling apart, people pointing fingers, our government is a ****show and puts the entire world's needs before taking care of our own problems. Main difference between Singapore and Canada is the latter has been trying to suppress wages of the working class effectively turning the working class into the working poor. \n\nThis, based on idiotic economic theories coming from central bank economists who think profiting private banks which produce nothing and creating a slave labor force in perpetual debt is good for the economy.\n\nIn Singapore, the govt has done the opposite. i.e. enabled purchasing power of the average citizen to rise along with standards of living. Its created the belief that hard work, innovation and enterprise on the part of the individual actually leads to personal success. \n\nThat dream has faded away in Canada and the young people see a bleak future. Its sad to even have to write this.\n\nWhen central bankers, govt..etc. step in to steal the productive output of the working class, it destroys Capitalism and suplants it with Crony Capitalism. FIRE (Financial, Insurance, Real Estate) speculation prospers while the working class producing real goods and services is financially destroyed.\n\nThe real estate prices are deliberately kept high by artificially restricting supply of housing through all kinds of bureaucratic means. Its main objective is to keep people in debt and working to pay off mortgage debt. A fall in housing prices would undo a lot of the leveraged bets that depend on housing prices staying high -- as happened in 2008 in the US. Main losers of that are banks.\n\nYou can then understand why Canada keeps pushing for more and more immigrants. All pyramid schemes (in this case a debt pyramid scheme) has to expand their base or collapse. It also serves the purpose of wage suppression of the working class so they remain in debt.\n\n\nI don't understand why you came from a prosperous country like Singapore to a lower standard of living in Canada. Canada used to be a great country. Now it's a good place only for the rich! Yet, the country is still accepting 500.000 immigrants per year and the fact is many will have to leave simply because they will not be able to earn enough to support themselves. Even more sad is the illusion that many immigrants have that Canada is a great country and that they will be much better off than in their home country. They won't!

I cant blame you for the cold. I dont love the winter either. I moved back to the cold winter from the coast and boy do you get spoiled on either coast of canada for weather! I just dont like to be cold. If I could move to the USA, preferably texas. I would go. In terms of living costs, its sad how many canadians dont understand that places like BC and ON have been pricey for a long time. Its new in other provinces to be this expensive and AB, SK, MB, QC. While some of those provinces are more expensive than others, they're new to the super high prices and many refuse to recognize how ON and BC have been paying these prices far longer then inflation right now, which isn't new either. While I'm not muslim, I am LDS and we are not a favourite religion in society either. We get chastised all the time and nobody bats an eye. I've been insulted by employers, our church buildings have been set on fire. I still have to explain why my faith doesn't believe in working on sundays (as employers want that these days). I think some religions or non religious dont want to recognize what we get put through too. Even though we can relate to muslims in our own way. My faith enjoys serving communities with the muslims, I have worked with muslims and many are just the kindest people! The first president of our church got murdered and our people got chased within the USA and americans seem to believe that this doesn't happen in their own country but the same hate has and continues to happen in my faith. So I can understand, we face a lot of rejection when we speak about our faith. I can understand in my own way how you feel.

Being an Indian living in Canada for over 22 years and working in healthcare system, I would highly recommend to check your vitamin levels (especially vitamin D, B12 if vegetarians) and general health regularly (it applies to those living in US and European countries). A known phenomenon that occurs especially during darker colder months is Seasonal effective disorder (SAD) and needs to be dealt with before it turns in depression. \n \nLife is hard l, no matter where you live but if you decide to move to foreign countries…just be prepared to face difficulties and adjust your expectations accordingly.

It's so sad, because it is such a huge, beautiful country. And you know, in the USA, we grew up watching things, and reading things, etc that weren't even Amercian, but Canadian, and mostly not knowing it. So many beloved things from Canada. We did also feel like they were happier, and more pleasant than we were. But I have many friends up there, from all Provinces, and they all have the same complaints. Thing is, they are the same complaints about the USA also, but just things like crime in the USA is notably worse....I used to live in the UK also, and that was better, but still not brilliant. The west as a whole is falling apart, and there are reasons for that, reasons that are being mostly ignored, so it will only get worse I'm afraid, unless we start demanding that they know longer be countries that cater to only the rich. Where only the rich can thrive.

The definition of a canadain is an american without a gun and public health care... otherwise it is hard to tell the difference.... Canada has almost 9 months of winter and 3 months of bad skating... The province of Quebec which is still part of canada (don't tell them that) has the language police to be as anti-american and any democratic as possible, they only tolerate english if it is in US$ and tax other taxes with the most expensive bloated government of any state north of Mexico. The cartels are envious... all things purchased are imported (except animals and greenhouse tomatoes)are american with the exchange rate of almost 33%... If you are a doctor or nurse or medical specialist trained in western medicine like Europe, Australia, etc. You almost have to start over.... SAD. Like América, big cars/trucks are king, public transit is not a thing... yeh there are some buses in a few major cities, more of an after thought... The only positive thing about coming from another country climate is you have something to compare with.... Personally i was born here so where do i go... A few friends have travelled to the US but have not returned... its warmer in Texas i guess... Canadians are suspicious of Asians because they come with money and buy up property esp in Vancouver/Toronto hence the concern... As for you making friends, you seem to be very Americanized, speak English well and not so traditional except for being married... you would make a lot of people comfortable among traditional Canadians... just my after thoughts...

In my teens, early 20s (early 00's) i dreamed of emigrating to Canada and Toronto. It had beautiful nature, was clean, safe, nice people and a great standard of living. But seeing it now especially the big cities is really sad. Many countries have had major turn arounds (Colombia for instance) and hopefully Canada can get back to being a great place again. Canada is not a prosperous country for any individual, no matter if you immigrated or were born here. High taxes, mismanagement from all levels of Government has severely impacted the quality of life of every person living in Canada. When a mass evacuation of Canadians is at it's highest in 73 years than something is amiss. Sad but it is Canada's reality, it's no longer the country it once was.

US still better for me than UK and yet they probably like same system like Canada has..I’ve heard this with my friends and cousins living in Canada also. Sadly here in US people are started to get some down turn cost of living as inflation started to bite but I think still better still than any country I had resided before the US. If you were in Canada and had degrees you better off going to America where they will credit your studies and appreciate your contribution unlike the system you have in Canada.

100%. Canada will keep losing its top talents and top-quality immigrants to the US in the forthcoming years. BECAUSE the Canadian system does not invest in innovation, research, or technology rather they would make money off of the scam real estate market by selling overinflated real estate keeping the supply limited, and accepting desperate refugees here and there in hundreds of thousands. There is almost a communist market in Canada, all supermarkets, mobile phone companies, and internet companies, airline companies are in the hands of a few privileged families. There is limited competition and often they decide the price of anything without any competition. Result: a flight within Canada is more expensive than a flight from Canada to Spain. Everything is 3 times more expensive and people suffer. They sell an empty jar of Nutella as the Canadian dream. In the end, Canada will end up with people who have no other choice but to live in Canada and have limited potential to propel the country's innovation which is sad. It's inevitable! and It's too late already!

I was born in vermont, lived most of my life here in florida. Canada is my favorite country outside of the us. Sad to see them having all these problems like us.

Canada has very high tax with little work opportunity. Canada is only attractive for third world countries who wants to live in a decent society. But sadly they bring the same hell from which they come from and bring different values which are not secular or liberal. Sooner or later it will be a mess like UK or Sweden, where a different society will demand their religious ways. And Canada is just allowing them without the bother of integration. \nBeing a former Pakistani, who is liberal, I can tell you that most of the people do not have any intention of integration. Most of the western countries have discovered the routes these expatriate Chinese have used from 2000 to 2020, CoVid put brakes on this.\n\nSome desperate poor Chinese are fleeing to South America aboard Fentyl laden container ships and then migrating towards the Mexican border.\n\nThe current Democratic President is doing this to keep his party and himself in power but sadly it’s having negative affects.\n\nThe other route being used is via South Africa or the continent of Africa to flee towards Europe or the Americas. \n\nSadly some Chinese just resort to marrying a Mongolian or Russian in order to migrate out of China.

All your points are valid. I would add that, sadly, many come to Canada to get a citizenship of convenience. Once they have a dual citizenship as Canadian, they go back to the home country and only remember that they are Canadian when they want or need something. Making dual citizenship illegal would resolve this. You are in or you are out. He who serves two masters, serves neither.
