As a Kamala voter and as an American who loves Canada, I apologize for the hideous manner in which my government is treating our neighbor and ally. I will be protesting and doing what I can to stop Trump and Musk from destroying our democracy and our friendships around the world. I wish Canada all the prosperity and health possible in the future and I hope someday you will be able to forgive our nation for the damage that the idiots running this country are causing for you and many other of our allies as well, with their ignorant tariffs and bullying tactics. The USA can produce more of our own oil than we can use, and we will sell the extra to YOUR foreign customers cheaper than you can produce it. Then you will be BEGGING for a pipeline. So Trump invited Canada to become a member of the most successful and powerful union of sovereign states in history, something that even our own territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and all the others do not have. An invitation to be a bona fide member. Why do you think that is? Minerals? The USA has all the minerals we need. We have more oil, coal, and natural gas than any nation also, and we can produce and refine it cheaper than any country can. So Canada was invited to become a state so Trump could peacefully eject the ChiComs from North America. And did you accept? No. Did you say no thank you? No. You gave us the finger and said f&$k you to Trump. We hear you Canada. But now is not the time for pain, that comes later.

3rd generation American here, I too stand with Canada, the UK, Mexico and Europe, not with Russia, China or the communist worshiping president that I did NOT vote for. I’m am Ukrainian Canadian and over the last few days I see how the new US government’s policy ruining everything we all believe in so dearly: democracy, friendship, helping shoulder to those who needs support against the bloody dictators, and firing thousands of people without cause who provided cybersecurity, guarded fairness of your elections… all being flashed down the toilet. And I watch it being replaced with bulling those who is bleeding, stabbing the friends and neighbors, singing praise to the war criminals charged for crimes against humanity with unlawful deportation and transfer of 20,000 Ukrainian children into russia. Children?! And I want to ask you a question: will you be a silent bystander watching the world plummet into the hatred, redivisions of borders and the rule of heartless convicted “deal makers”? I think I know who he made the deal with... And to those who voted for him: do you still believe this will lead you and your country to greatness?? North Carolinian American here. I am ashamed of our country pushing our allies away. What I and many others want to let our allies know is that we support them. Our country is getting closer to isolationism, and it isn't good if we want inflation and prices to go down. History has shown us what happened to our country when we were isolated, and it brought economic devastation throughout the country. I hope that it isn't severe, but I predict that our president, and the Republican Party that controls the legislature and the Supreme Court will definitely cripple the economy, and will find a way to blame the party, where they are not in control.

Canada should not tell us what is going to happened with inflation when the primary cause for the stunning inflation this last 3 years was the implementation of sanctions on a major oil producer that Canada participated in along the G7 countries.
