I was completely surprised to hear that this happens, continues to happen, especially in Canada. America is a country built on the backs of slaves and racism is rampant. This behavior is disgusting and to see a middle-age Black woman is not even safe is overwhelming. As I reach middle-age I continue to feel the same fears I did as a young woman. I live in America so I face racism and discrimination daily. I thought Canada was different, but I am glad to see Canada is attempting to fix the problem. America take notes.

Muslims are as much victims of Islam as are the rest of us! It is disheartening to see muslims so blind to the teachings of Islam and from the whole come a large remnant that take Islamic beliefs to the full extent that includes practices that includes domination of other societies, other religions, promote hatred of Israel and Jews, demote and disrespect our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and they dispute and argue with endless chatter and loud voices! Let’s pray for the muslims that they will hear the voice of reason from our Saviour Jesus!

To have, apparently, no English whatsoever after so many years does not indicate a desire to integrate. The (once) United Kingdom's seriously overburdened NHS spends 23 million a year on translators in 128 languages and many 'migrants' see this as an entitlement; indeed, it is a disincentive for some to even bother trying to learn English. This particularly pertains to many migrants from the middle-east and china and one Afghan patient whose family are regular beneficiaries of both the NHS and its translation services recently claimed (having been here for several years) that his wife (only in her 30s) would not be learning English because; 'It's too difficult' so for some, unfortunately, there is no will at all to assimilate. Housing and social security payments are, of course, part of the package and these individuals produce no net benefit at all either socially or economically and it's getting worse so spare me the bleeding heart rhetoric we keep hearing from mainstream (almost exclusively liberal) media. The BBC which is funded by the British Taxpayer cannot be relied upon to tell the truth or give the facts and continues to actively promote uncontrolled 'migration' so I think it's fair to say that they are fully facilitating the 'Kalergi Plan' and the decimation of the cultures and peoples of Europe!

I did not see “anti-Islamic sentiment” in this reportage. I saw a definitive insularity among Muslims against their host country Canada, a growing sense of anxiety among Canadians at the artificially created growth of Islam in the country and a lot of inertia on the part of Canada’s official response to Islam which has been inspired by the naive, school kid Trudeau. What surprises me most is why there is not a massive revanchist movement against Islamists - why everyday we don’t hear about mosques being burned to ashes and Muslims being beaten, killed or mutiliated. That should be the proper response to the growth of Islam - in any country.

CBC is the liberal channel. Have any liberals ever told you anything truthfully. CBC only lets you hear and see what the liberals want you to.

I don't understand what's the point you're trying to make with this video. It seems like you're trying to blame Canada and Trudeau for the situation that he is in; You (VICE) place emphasis on his situation and his family, trying to drum up sympathy for him, but the way I see it is, he's to blame for it. He came here of his own volition and with a family by trying to get around the system. That's doesn't make him sympathetic, it makes him stupid and naive and impulsive. Frankly, it insulting and infuriating because there are people who wait YEARS and pay thousands of dollars who are actually in need of coming to Canada. And now, because of people like him is the reason why the system is backed up to point of instead of waiting for 60 days, you have to wait as much as 20 months before you hear back (which unfortunately, encourages more border-hopping and situations exactly like this)

The devil is in the details. People need to actually research before making a big decision to cross the border in attempt for asylum..Don't rely on word of mouth. I find it hard to see Islamic belief as a religion. Because you never hear of near death experience! All near death documentation, in both the sciences and secular information. Says that one either goes to hell, or gets to meet a being of light, Jesus . I have searched for years, for this information in my studies. AND IN MY 30YRS OF STUDY HAVE NEVER FOUND ANY, I have asked Moslum friends directly. But they too have never heard of anyone with a different experience then those I've above mentioned. Why is this?

What i'm hearing is 1 muslims are peaceful 2 women are brainwashed (easily done ) 3 don't hate muslims because of jihadists ......All lies muslims do not simulate in society , muslim women have a lot of freedoms now but when sharia law takes over they can kiss a lot freedom goodbye (idiots) , all jihadists are muslim . think of it this way there are no other religions in saudia arabia , go there and try to open a christian church . The issue is islam, not all muslims. Unfortunately those two often go hand in hand, making it hard to criticizes islam without people thinking you are criticizing all muslims, which isn’ the case. \n\nThe issue with the religion of islam is that it is inherently not peaceful (If you want to discuss why that is more so the case than other religions we can do that). In fact in many situations you will hear Islamic muslins part of a western country use the free speech given to them, under the laws and constitution of that society, in order to impose the suggestion of sharia law. This would mean no more free speech (and far more dire consequences) for others not of islamic belief under sharia law. Sharia law is a set of religious political laws used in the majority of middle eastern Islamic countries and cultures. It is truly a backward and barbaric set of laws, incompatible with democracy and I encourage you to investigate that claim. \n\nSo essentially decreasing islam in any scenario will also decrease the political climate it wants to live in. And not only live in, but given to text in the Koran, effectively dominate. Religious assimilation and toleration is not part of the religion. And in the small case that it is, those religious peoples are second class citizens. \n\nSo you can see how it may sound harsh to say “get rid of islam/muslims” if you are ignorant to the fact of both their possible separation and islam’s eventual political goals. \n\nNot all muslims want sharia law or are as fundamental/radical as others, but that distinction can be hard to make for many people, when a lot of them are silent. All you see are the riots and bombings across the globe by radical islamists, with little or no condemnation by the former. However once again I state, the issue is islam, not all muslims.\n\nIf you think I myself am ignorant of any of this information please attempt to convince me otherwise and I will thoroughly read your argument.

how about banning niqabs? niqabs are really unnecessary. We need to see a whole face to identify a person. And wearing a niqab is actually impolite towards deaf and hard of hearing people because they often need to read your lips to understand what you're saying. And I can't believe that any woman would love to wear it because you would constantly smell and breath in your own breath coming from your mouth. So, you actually breath in CO2 all the time, and that can't be very healthy.

The thing is you hear things about ISIS or hamas and you try to separate it and say that it only the extremists, when in fact the moderates still support it. when speaking to a muslim friends of mine i asked her if your book says killing is wrong then why is there so much of it in islam? to my dismay she said that as long as they're killing for her religion its ok and that she supports things like the charlie hebdo shootings. She claims to support freedom of speech, but in reality, only things that are not opposed to islam. tried telling her if you ant talk about something freely then it isn't freedom of speech but she couldnt comprehend that. its disappointing to see that even though they are not the ones directly in the terrorist groups, they still support what they do.

The answer is simple and all Muslims need to do is control their population and make us believe we are safe. When we see protests and hear hate speech from their groups we of course are not happy and we were born here. You want to come to our country so abide by our laws not yours and we will be fine.
