You can cut the BS. This is largely a right wing propaganda. All the money and other things immigrants or refugees receive. I want to see a government issued monthly statement, not propaganda from the far right. The same is playing out in other countries. That is the plan to gain power. Even getting people of the same ethnicity to give legimacy. Like giving testemonials to sell some crap on tv.😂 I am not surprised if people are angry, but they should get the facts, before they do something based on lies.

It sickens me to see how much our dysfunctional government gives the new immigrants more money to live on then what they give CANADIAN SENIORS. We seniors have worked in Canada our whole lives. Seniors are having to decide which bill to pay or miss the bill and buy food. I went to work at the age of 12. I had two paper routes to do before going to school which was a total of 7.00 a week. I also worked in a greenhouse after school and weekends for 50 cents an hour. Now being disabled I am not able to work even a part time job or even find a part time job. I have been looking for a part time job. I have sent out 250 resumes just last month and did not even get a rejection reply. My specialists asked me if I realized the harm I am doing to myself. What other choice do I have? The Liberal government have broken Canada.

My Granparents, parents, settled the homestead in 1896 near Rossland BC. How it used to work, how things are supposed to work, is the Government serves the needs and demands of the people. The people don't serve the Government nor any Corporation or Public/Private Partnership. This means that the Government doesn't prevent people from doing what they do and they don't use force to extort the fruit of everyone's labor to the point of enslavement. In 1896 and throughout my Grandfather's life from 1902 to 1976, one would do for themselves if they weren't working for someone else. In other words, you found something needed be done, something the community around you required or was lacking, you opened shop and got after it. You can't work today because you require licensing for everything, you require permission for everything, everything is regulated. People have it in their minds that it's so much better today then it was then, that it's "safer". But it's not, that's a lie. My family, although never wealthy, ate good food, always had a roof over their heads, plenty of family around and always had something to do or at least could always find something to work at. Most importantly, they always had hope because they had freedom. No one has any hope anymore and the people coming here aren't just bringing their culture to overtake our culture, they are coming with anger. With envy, resentment and malice. My family didn't come here with those things, they came to Canada with hope and determination to integrate and prosper with freedom. The other side of my family fled Bolshevism when they left Russia and came here and that side had the exact same hope in freedom to work hard and prosper. Now all generational wealth, freedom, prosperity and hope is all but completely stolen. We don't need more regulations. We don't need more benefits. We don't need more Government. We need less, we need it all to go away because I know for a fact, you give people the freedom to go about their lives, the society or community they form, always tends towards peaceful, prosperous organization. You give people the freedom to build and produce and they'll get after it immediately and that opens the door for all other manner of trades and skills that just fill any hole in a community or society. And that's a fact about the organizational tendencies of human beings. There's nothing stopping us from providing for ourselves but a cartel Government in the business of extortion and human enslavement. They foment chaos and division in order to justify the revoking of more freedoms to enslave more people. People themselves, they look to get along, get to work, raise families and, as best they can, enjoy life. Once we start expecting a Government to take care of us we've institutionalized prisoners who have lost all human dignity. When you "buy in" to all the rhetoric of so called autonomy, ask yourself, how autonomous are you without a family? Just because you're alone in a box in a city, stacked one on top of the other, weighted down by a landslide of rules, collecting benefits from the Government, doesn't make you autonomous. People say, "no one can afford a family". Yet those coming in have large families and they seem to be making out just fine. It's the brainwashing of our culture that set us up. Over time we've convinced the proper way to do things is everyone to grow up and go their own way, leaving each other relying on benefits from the government in old age or illness or whatever calamity might strike in life. There's always something that comes along. With family you have human resource, a plethora of skills and you have your "insurance", free of extortion. Everything that comes from a government is conditional and sooner or later their conditions rule over our condition, even though it's our labor that provides for them. The answer isn't more benefits, as I've said. The answer is simply less government, so we can all get to the business of providing for ourselves and helping our communities prosper. We need to do this with family because alone, we are all isolated and powerless. No one stands alone and a house divided cannot stand.

I'm fifth generation born Canadian and this is not Canada anymore. It's a disgrace, disgusting, despicable and 100% CRIMINAL and pathetic that we have no rights or freedoms in our own country but illegal immigrants do! I can't even afford my life saving medication for diabetes and I get turned down for any and all government assistance, please explain how the hell that happens? Hi from Indiana. I’m not familiar with life in Canada and I’m shocked to watch what is going on right now in your video. Maybe it’s not too late if your government can figure out to modify some of the immigration laws that will give back the power, the benefit, and advantage to a natural born Canadian. 800 thousand foreigners coming in in the last three months? I’ve lived in Canada for 30 years, but I became unemployed in 2021. This is the first time I’ve been out of work for more than a year and a half. I’ve applied online for over 20 jobs, but unfortunately I haven’t received any responses. This has never happened to me before. When I first came to Canada, it felt very safe—you could even leave your door unlocked at night. Things have changed a lot since then. Nowadays, there are many new immigrants and refugees, which has also changed the job market. I’ve noticed that many companies prefer hiring workers with student visas, because the government subsidizes part of their wages. That makes it more cost-effective for companies compared to hiring Canadian workers. I heard this directly from my former manager. As a result, some of my old colleagues now only get one or two days of work per week, while companies continue bringing in new employees.

It's not about race or culture. It's just too much is too much. Too much for our health care system. Too much for our economy to handle. Too many jobs are now scarce. Too much is bad for the people who have paid their taxes here forever, just so one particular immigrant group can use up resources that long time generations have built. I'm not saying any particular culture, but there are too many of them. This particular culture should also be reduced because they are exploiting every mistake the government makes (from their good hearts) or loopholes to stay. Not just stay but trying to transform a country into their own. That is wrong. Most immigrants from past generations didn't come here to conquer the country. They came here to be part of a great country. Contribute to it. Make it better, not make it worse. And now here we are. How are we going to fix this? Put a very long pause on immigeation. Get rid of international students from this particular country. They have no right to stay. Stop giving licenses to unqualified people that can't read, write, speak or even understand English. It's becoming a safety issue everywhere. Again, it's not about race. It's the "too many" factor that the country can not sustain.

I'm pretty much exactly where that lady in the car is at. Enough to make rent, pay my monthly cell phone bill, and internet, but the rest? Not enough for food, no emergency funds if something breaks or needs replacing, etc. Can't even save and put money away. I sat down and balanced my budget, looking at what I could keep or toss. Figured out what to do for cheapening food costs as much as I could (without doing food bank), and the most I can afford for rent is $700 a month. That's basically a room in someone's house. That's it. As an Adult, I'm disgusted it's come to this. But what angers me MOST of all, is the Landlord's I gotta argue with. Surrey, BC used to be the cheap end of Vancouver. The welfare type housing, and low-income area. Then we had this huge book of Middle Eastern people come flying in at top speed, steam roll the community and make it theirs. They bought up all the cheap housing, ripped it down even though it was not that bad of a house, then built these custom 5-6 room mini mansions. The standards for the area skyrocketed, and the cost of their mortgage is likely also sky high because of what they built... So what do they do? Rent the rooms, force people 2 to a room with no privacy, and if you WANT a private room? Nearly $1000. Oh... And let's not forget the discrimination issues. If you're not going to temple or Gudwara, forget it. If you aren't pure vegetarian, forget it. And because all the other renters are "brown" and under 30yrs old, Adults are considered unwelcome. If you have a disability and don't work, you're automatically labelled a drug user (which isn't always truth). Even if you offer proof of income, and resources or phone numbers to call, they won't bother. Too much work. This sh*t needs to stop. I look in other cities near by, and it's happening in ALL OF THEM. I cant even relocate to get away from this crap. I'm done. I have no car to live out of, so that's not an option. I'm not a drug user, never will be but and all the shelters are now "low barrier". Screw that. So now what? Go back to work with a broken lower back?? Desk job search when I should be recovering and resting? Like, the suggestions are welcome, but be realistic. I'm in constant pain on heavy duty drugs to get by right now. No spouce. No parents or friends to leech off of. I feel utterly abandoned by our government.

You know what too...If Canadians was too go to India I wouldn't be able to bring my Canadian/Caribbean Culture there..I look at it like this his your moving to another Country I'm gonna adapt to The Culture and Lifestyle..Im not gonna bring my Old Ways that I wanted to leave to a New Country and Life...I feel like its not Canadians being Racist it's that they came here and The Government and Businesses are Catering to them From Adding Specific Food Items to cater to them most Jobs are by passing others to hire them...And on top of that Canadians are dealing with Food Cost being High still and Working a Job and still not making else to live a decent Life...Seems like most people are Working to Survive and Pay Bill and don't even have enough to atlest go out and have a peace of mind and have a Social Life...There brought in all these Immigrants to The Country while The Country was basically under a Recession...And this Problem is not getting Fixed now and it seems like it's getting worst..To the point I feel like a Civil War could even break out I this don't get Fixed somehow and someway... People are hating unfairly on immigrants when it is the government is at fault for not managing immigration better. Let's not forget that Canada was built on immigration and collectively most immigrants do contribute to the good of Canadian society. I am an immigrant, I have never felt that any one group is forcing anything on me. I live my life, pay taxes, do my civic duties , mind my business , don't bother anyone and try to get along with everyone regardless . Yet I have been verbally attacked several times because I am non white. So I often wonder who is truly Canadian and if you are of "colour" will you forever be a hyphenated Canadian even if you are 3, 4 , 5 th or multigenerational born and bred in Canada. The high cost of living and unaffordabilty of housing is one thing, declining national fertility rates another and immigration is another. To me, It looks like Canada's immigration policy needs urgent reform and yes, immigrants should leave their baggage at the door.

Because they are not trying to fit in to our society and they are causing problems for the neighbors. They receive more than born Canadians and are given jobs here over Canadians. In my apartment building they don't like to be told to stop causing noise disturbances, in fact it even gets worse when they have been asked to stop. Some of the tenants " Newcomers " seem to think they can operate a business in the apartment which means they use excessive noise to build whatever they are building. Once they have been asked to stop by other tenants and given notices they then decide to retaliate by causing further noise which is deliberately to disturb the rest of us. They try to intimidate people that they know are born Canadians like some kind of gang members. We no longer feel safe in our own homes and neighborhoods. We are tired of them using the race card for every problem they have which is usually something they caused in the first place. In this particular building on Queen st. N. in Hamilton they cause trouble in multiple different apartments which they attend. Once they have been asked to stop causing noise in one apartment they just go to one of the others and then proceed to do the same thing there. Some of the newcomers have been given more than one apartment in the same building and therefore run back and forth between those apartments and slam the door of each one over and over all day long. The management has been informed hundreds of times for a number of years and yet they have not yet dealt with the issues. There is an ongoing record of so many incidents in this building which the management has not addressed beyond a blanket notice to all tenants regarding noise complaints. The manager says things like " It's a process " and yet there seems to be no results. Is management afraid to just simply evict the trouble makers ??

I do love canada and its culture. Even as a immigrant I had a blessing to be in a country that welcomed people. Now its getting to worst part of being that welcoming. They destroyed the country. You cannot even afford to rent an apartment or even move around for a job. If you leave Toronto for a contract job outside of the city and move somewhere else for a little while, you will be homeless when you come back. To we are pretty much screwed in every moving around to try and gain experience to get ahead. And there are profession where you have to move outside of the GTA to get experience. Canadian students can barely get a entry level job with a two year diploma, yet they allow International students to study things like a 2 year diploma in Business, which no one can ever get a job with, and on top of that, they told them they can apply to become permanent resident . How does that even make any sense? Does any politician in this country have two working brain cells? I'm so sick of this country, I desperately want to leave ...I'm a immigrant and my parents came here in the glory days of the 70s, where people from other English speaking countries were given priority and were expected to fully integrate into Canadian society

CANADA does NOT HAVE a 'Housing Crisis". The housing crisis is in Vancouver & Toronto, because we let ALL the immigrants move there. But there are a thousand small towns across the country that need immigrants to stop from becoming ghost towns. The failure was in the Liberal Party deciding that getting the immigrant vote was how to win elections, so they let immigrants decide where to go, which didn't help the country. I should know.. I owned a 28-suite apt. block in Winnipeg (not even a small town!) and my property value dropped below the mortgage cost because more people were leaving Manitoba than entering at that time. My son is Canadian born and a college graduate. He was a smart student and very hard working person but until now he couldn't find a job even at Tim Horton. I noticed that a lot of people who are working now are from India. They're the one who are getting experienced and etc.This is not fair to Canadians😢.

I won't miss those new immigrants from south Asia. They completely change once clean cities. They post illegal advertising signs everywhere, on traffic lights bus shelters, at the sides of our streets. Who post on traffic light? meant to get attention of motorists. They don't believe in obeying bylaws. And city councilors do nothing about it . Even police don't see the safety hazzard these signs, posted at traffic lights pose.

As a non affiliated american i hate this is happening, economy is horrible enough that i didn't even think it could get worse but i guess it can. i know Trudeau gets a lot of crap from people, but my god this was a hell of a speech. same with Bernie Sanders' speech. i got goosebumps and also trying to fight back tears simultaneously. my ex wife is disabled receiving social security, medicare, and medicaid due to being in a wheelchair and requiring consistent medical care and attention. she receives, and is expected to survive on, $800 a month and $300 in foodstamps. she lives in campgrounds which is 90% cheaper than rent, and still has to budget, struggle and go without a lot to make life work all while being in tremendous pain and reliant on help from others.
