Canada's Tariff applied to the United States will cause some price inflation, price increase, for a short time until the United states establish compaines to produce the same good and services that were tariffed. Once goods and service producted by the United States exceeds the Canadian goods and services that were tarriffed, the prices will come down. President Donald Trump did this to grow United States and Employment and cause price deflation over the long term. Hopefully Canada has the resources to do the same. I hope every body is blessed through Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Had a very good run at Costco today March 4. Bought all local, Canadian, Chinese and Moroccan products. - Not a single American made product. Since American want to buy American so badly, the stores can return American stuff back to the USA.

Quite hypocritical, Canada is implementing a 26% Carbon tax increase on all goods come APRIL 1st and Carney thinks thats low. Our government has been doing this to Canadians since April 2019.

With tariffs being an import tax set up to deter local business from buying outside the country, then why put tariffs on american goods save for the 25% that goes directly to the Canadian government ? When we could keep prices down for our businesses and imports, it just seens to bump prices up for the microcosm of businesses and puts money in the hands of our federal government, but directly takes money out of contractors,businesses and so on....\nIf there are no contracts for instance with energy flowing to NY, why not bump the price 5% or 10 % ....

Plus, he just stated that he's smart enough to suggest that Trump just put a 25% tax on Canadian goods for Americans but he also thinks that you are dumb enough not to realize that he just put a 25% tax on Canadians for American goods. Trudeau basically created the situation for these tariffs (open border to let anyone come here). He loves this as he gets to take the apparent moral high ground for the first time in his life and wants this speech to be the way he is remembered rather than years of failing Canada. I'm doing ongoing research to cease any spend on any US product or service. I'm buying software from Europe, using Posteo for email, deGoogling this year and vastly reducing Youtube. I trace all groceries to eliminate anything US sourced and I now check that products are Mexican and Canadian as much as I'm able and they are supplying. I've stopped planning trips to LA and NYC, I might resume if American voters ever have the good sense to vote en masse against obviously fascist plans and personalities. I've holidayed in Mexico three times and would visit Canada and Europe in future. US is not safe for everyone any longer, not even its citizens and looks to be getting increasingly insecure and offering prosperity only to the already mega rich through crooked policies and agencies. Every week or two I double check the facts on groceries and online products/services to make sure I'm not accidentally buying American. The election was so compromised in November I'm glad people are realising the only action we can take is with our wallets from not logging in to 'big tech' to buying bread and apples etc.
