I always keep upto date with FP news but this was so biased and failed to address the issue fully and accurately. Firstly, the economy of India or the foreign policies of India has little to do with the power of the Indian passport. According to that logic US, China and Russia should be the top 3 in the passport ranking - but it is not. @3:35 The logic is visible and the west does not need to explain it. It is the quality of the people visiting the western countries. There is a significant number of Indian citizens who would migrate without the intention to return. This fact unfortunately affects everyone holding an Indian passport. FP also needs to see that middle class in India is not at a middle class standard worldwide. I presume those countries which has slightly stronger passport than India has populations which are a tiny fraction of those wanting to travel with an Indian passport.

How can that be ? Everywhere I go I see tfw working away,some have three jobs. Canadian kids can’t find jobs, all the foreigners have their jobs, subsidized jobs should go to Canadian kids. The only economic parameter that matters is per capita. India currently ranks 122nd in the world based in per capita (that too purchasing power included). India can be the largest economy in the world with a hopeless per capita. One day The Adanis, Ambanis and a few others will be worth 25 trillion USD themselves and India could be the largest economy in the world; yet 95% of its population will rank lower than 120th in the world. Nationalistic emotion can cloud one's judgement. And I'm pretty sure that India has a lower rejection rate compared to many other countries. It is the sheer volume of applications that contribute to this. Even 1% rejection on 100k Indian visas is a 1000 rejected visas. While a less populous country may have 10% rejection out of 1000 visas which is 100 rejections. So, in % terms, India fare well despite having higher rejections.\nFiring shots at Kosovo, Cuba and B Faso is a cheap shot and unnecessary to push the point of passport rank. All countries have a right to determine who they allow into their country with lower restrictions. And they are under no obligation to open the gates to anyone. It is also common knowledge that the newer cohorts of Indian immigrants to the West are a bad representation of Indian society (best example - Canada). Hence the rising anti Indian Immigration stance. Immigration is a privilege and not a right. The reason is that some Indian finds it difficult to integrates.\n\n I know one Indian lady that have lived in one country for over 20 years and the lady cannot speak the language of that country.
