Great speech from Trudeau, he is on his way out as prime minister and has been unpopular but no doubt he has had his finest moments lately. US Veteran, here. Thank you Canada. Regardless of my late grandma being Canadian, I respect and adore Canada for which it stands.

The tariffs have nothing to do with border security. Trump ,in his supreme unintelligence, believes that he can replace income taxes with tariffs. Like they did in the late 1800's. He'll try anything other than making the 1% pay their fair share of taxes.

As an American, I am appalled by Trump’s actions. I, for one, agree that his reasons for imposing tariffs is a lie. I strongly disagree with his blatant disregard for America’s allies. There is NO justification for aligning the US with Putin. If he thinks Putin has our interests in mind, he is crazy! Before it’s too late, I hope that his cabinet, the house, and senate realize that they can no longer support a president who does not support our interests as a country.
