I ask: “Had the US not made these requests, would you have done the neighbourly thing and cared enough for your neighbour to have monitored what criminals in your country were up to? It appears you had to be reminded of your duties inherent in the ‘office of being a good neighbour’.\nYou are STILL weak and the mouthpiece of ‘controlling interests’ in Europe who in the end will toss you out on the street like some sucked dry orange and forget your fawning presence ever existed. Man up and at least try to leave an honourable legacy for Canadians. The problem here isn't temporary. Tariffs may or may not be. But when Canada, Mexico, and other countries build alternate trade infrastructure and strike deals that exclude America, this becomes near irreversible and will hurt America's economy well after Trumps term. And that's just trade and economy.\n\nThen there are many relationships worldwide which are already affected, and world leaders are poised to move on without America - leaving it isolated. What you have done is put signs on our shelves, buy Canadian. You have taken American Product from the top shelf, to the verry bottom shelf, behind the Made in China. You have closed the Travel Agencies to United States travel, nobody wants to go to your country, and I heard that there is going to be a 250% Tariff on hotel accommodations for Americans visiting Canada.
