Great video bro. Unbiased, constructive criticism. \n\nI have made a lot of Indian friends over the years in the Canada and I can say for a fact that they belong to the well behaved ones. It’s sad how a few bad eggs can make the good ones look bad.

I think that what you are describing is the case in most western traditionally European countries. I also think that is on purpose. I live in the US and have my entire life, I'm in my 50's (let's just leave that there!). the same can be said for many places in this country. I've lived in newengland my whole life. it used to be considered the benchmark when I was growing up in the 70's and 80's , as far as cost of living , cost to buy a home , wages and job opportunities , quality of life, safety. its not the case now. I did recently move to extreme northern new England this year as southern New England where I grew up and my family is , too crowed, too expensive etc. I am within 1-5 miles of Canadian border where I am now, but still in US! I do have a current passport, just renewed it and plan to visit NB and Quebec City and hopefully PEI . I do live in a very rural area with low population currently. farming and timber are main industries here. not a lot going on, but at my age I really enjoy it. reminds me of how things used to be when I was growing up 40 years ago! people and even young people are polite and decent here, no traffic. its a bubble, but we are 500 miles from the chaos to the south. I pray a lot nowadays! thx for sharing , I followed your videos years ago, I am glad you've done well for yourself and you've turned into a beautiful woman and a decent person! my daughters are half Ukrainian from their mother and Polish/English from myself. one thing about northern maine is that there is no fresh kielbasa , pierogie or kapusta up here! I'm hoping that you are planning on moving to a Country in Europe? My parents were Latvian WWII War Refugees and I've been hearing that IF they were, you can easily get a Passport to live anywhere in the European Union?\n\nAn American YTuber who now lives in Portugal, said this in one of his Videos. As bad as it is i think it’s best to tough it out and things will improve, many euro countries may seem better but they too could be come gentrified with time and im sure those places sucked at one time which is why Europeans moved to Canada for the last a hundred years. \n\nIK Canada looks bleak but much of the world sucks and things will improve, haven’t seen the video yet but as far as IK, moving to a warm third world country is never the solution because locals will experience price inflation and all the things we complain about and the problems just won’t stop.

I find there is a huge amount of double-speak in your comments, so much so that you sound very insincere. Example: all the praise of Canada, yet you are planning to leave, and with good reason. I've done extensive research on several countries to move to and it's not very difficult to see why so many Canadians (among those who have options) are leaving Canada. Here's one important data point for anyone who is interested: In the OECD's national growth rate projections to 2060 (not a typo, 2060), Canada has placed dead last! There are 38 OECD members. What this means is that the fundamentals are not in place in Canada. The country is now in free fall, as there is not enough wealth creation happening, and it's just not true, as this video suggests, that Canada still offers endless 'opportunities'. Stop the disingenuousness.

The middle class has never had it good. A very small group of people do really well in life (due to TONS of different factors) and the rest not so much. It's been like that from the dawn of humanity. I grew up in the 90s in Canada, and everyone in these types of videos is acting like middle class people back in the day were living this baller, lavish lifestyle travelling the world and driving luxury cars. Ha! They were clipping coupons, and ordering whatever the special was whenever they went out to family restaurants. They drove Dodge Caravans, and lived paycheck-to-paycheck. I was one of them, as were my friends growing up. I was lucky enough to find something that helped me get out of all that. Sad reality of the world is and has always been, the rich can enjoy life and the rest take what's given to them. I'm not saying that's good, but it is what it is.

I just stumbled across this video. This is my first viewing of one of your videos and it was sad and painful to watch. I was born in Canada to immigrant parents. I grew up on a farm in Alberta. Listening to your memories of growing up resinated with me as that was my experience as well. Fast forward to today, my husband and I left Canada in 2022 and are currently in Mexico. We have thought about a return to Canada but the reports really don't give us hope. We will likely move again someday, but Canada isn't high on that list until something changes. I will look forward to seeing where you have chosen. Thank you for the honesty in this view.

This is my first time viewing one of your videos, Alina. You are inspiring! Thank you for your honesty, a reality that so many of us share. My family and I moved here 26 years ago with next to nothing in terms of worldly possessions. Our kids grew up here, went to university here and, working two jobs at the same time, we were blessed to be able to buy our own home eventually. We are proudly Canadian, but so much is changing that my wife and I are considering retiring elsewhere due to financial constraints (our home is our only asset). Thank you for the video.

I have visited 22 countries hunting for the right one but will travel to South East Asia (Philippines, Thailand) for the first time this winter before making any real decisions. Great Video! Your totally right things here have changed for the worst but like you said Canada is still one of the best places to be. I still think life in Saskatchewan isn’t bad yet as it is in other provinces. If your in a major city than it’s tough to survive. See the problem?\n\nInstead, people’s hard earned monthly payments towards pension could have instead have been invested for them into actively-managed portfolios of bonds, equities and commodities. Thereby, each and every person currently on pension could have enjoyed the benefits of decades of compounding growth!\n\nNow we are here, as the video says, 2 workers are needed to cover the pension of 1 retired person. This is absolutely absurd and they will never be able to attract 400,000 new skilled workers every year with the current issues highlighted in this video.\n\nMy best advice - when you are working in Germany, seriously think about it to save and invest a portion of your net income and prepare yourself for a future where you cannot solely rely on your German pension!

I also want to mention that Canada is not exporting much to other countries if you check you going to find out more. All the companies you showed they are in USA Canada don’t have them so. One thing never mentioned in the video is that the type of immigrants being brought in now, they are not the same as the old immigrants. Back then, the immigrants were actual skilled workers and builders. Now they are all uber eats guys, or they live off the government. There is a very very big difference between the quality of immigrants that was not mentioned, but needs to be brought up. The immigrants from europe did wonders for Canada. I am a permanent resident of Canada and born in the US. I live right outside of Montreal. I actually went to Plattsburgh, NY three times in past two months and each time while on my way back from Plattsburgh, I would encounter several migrants at the bus stop shown on the video. In one of my encounters I saw a group of them wearing ankle monitors. I would see vans standing at the gas station picking up and dropping off migrants. These drivers are helping the problem just to make money. I just heard on the news that greyhound changed the bus stop in Plattsburgh a couple of weeks ago and I wonder if it's because of the illegal migrants. I have been going to Plattsburgh by bus for many years and I've never seen migrants inundate the area as I have in the past year. I knew about Mexicans flying over to Canada so they can walk across the boarder into the US but I didn't know it was this bad. I don't see this problem going away unless Canada works with the US to solve it. It's getting scary out there because there are criminals who has committed serious crimes in their home country and come here on a clean slate to continue their criminal activity. When does this torture end?

Excellent video highlighting this terrible problem. TBH, the world outside of USA isn't all that bad in modern times. Its actually better. Many of these migrants already have a house, job and safety in their own countries. I Feel like the 'cartel' story is overly used to make seeking asylum easy. If the cartels are the problem, then why not go to the root and get rid if the cartels?\n\nFor migrants, it's a fashion and status to say 'I've been to USA'. They lie about their sexuality, oppression abuse and persecution in order to be granted asylum in the US because they know how to make Americans sympathize and make Americans pay their bills. True asylum seekers who need this benefit can never afford their travel all the way to USA. Asylum seekers wouldn't be a problem if major countries(primarily the US) would stop destroying smaller country's government infrastructure and handing the reins over to corporations and mercenary gangs to operate as corrupt a system as possible so they can fill their pockets. How would YOU like to live in a country where the only jobs are near slave jobs and mercenary gangs roam freely, extorting you and stealing your kids to use as child soldiers or in sex trafficking? As for the Canada aspect... Canada does take in asylum seekers and refugees too. The only ones who would travel to Canada and then to the US either already have family in the US, a job lined up or they need to pay back the people who financed their trip.
