This is an interesting overview of Canada and its many issues. I would love to see a follow up video or two looking into these same issues but from a few different perspectives. 1) regionally - Canada is very diverse so our regions are quite different in culture, problems and cause of each. The major regions are: Maritimes/Ontario/Quebec/Prairies/West Coast/ Territories. 2) because of our diverse landscape different races are attracted to different areas. I have not studied this impact on our racism and political issues but would love to see someone like you do so. It appears to me that immigrants are disproportionately gathered along the US/Canada border and big cities, particularly east and west coast. First Nations are disproportionately populated in Rural and northern areas where resources overall are less available to all races. I would expect to find that this population disbursement would also reflect in our political leadership. For example more populated cities are far more likely to have immigrant own businesses and politicians, In rural and northern communities politicians are more likely to be white because First Nations politicians would be more inclined to work within the First Nations political channels where they can actually do more good for their communities. 3) The diversity that makes up 'white' as a race. It appears to me that Canada historically has been more inclined to attract 'White' races versus other 'colours'. We have large populations of British, Swedish, Irish, Russian, Ukrainian, French, Norwegian, and Polish to name a few. All of which have large diversity in their culture and history but are often classified as 'white'. 4) The massive impact the past 5 + years of politics and world affairs have had on the divisions within Canada. Personally I see and feel far, far more judgements between races, economics and regions than ever before.

My point of view....\nIn Canada no language barrier as compared to Europe. If you can communicate in English then it's very comfortable in Canada.\nEveryone is very hardworking, their weddings are simple.\nThey don't spend too much on clothes.....no show off.\nWe need to be more adaptable. \nNot to fuss to much over the food. Be joyful and enjoy the beauty of Canada.\nDelhi is very comfortable.\nGood local transport, domestic helps , good hospitals and vibrant markets.....but the climate is too hot and too cold and the poverty ,air, noise pollution is bit too much. \nUpper middle class is a very happy space in India.\n\nIf health remains okay.... explore and appreciate the new place and their culture.\nIn India too much focus on food... that's why adjustment problems.( within the family also)\nI love the diversity, care for the huma life ,infrastructure and work culture of Canada.\nAbove all very handicapped friendly country.\nPeople are very polite.\n\nTrip to Canada has become very expensive ?\n\nAs a guest we too have a responsibility to make our host feel good and be an asset in whatever way we can contribute.

Each of the things you mention are also the reason why Canadian wages are pathetic, while cost of living is on average higher then the US. There’s a surplus of skilled workers, Canada don’t really need more engineers, they just end up driving Uber.\nAlso, the country quotas sound discriminatory but they’re just common sense, and the US understood this while Canada plays the politically correct game. Obviously, if a poor country has 1.4 billion people it will soon become the main source of immigrants. This creates social tension and it’s surely not what “diversity” is about, since there is no diversity when all those crazy numbers of immigrants come from one country

America doesn’t understand politics. It’s been a set up from the start. Go back to the murder of the indigenous, the rebranding is the indigenous to “coloured”, the chattel slavery of blacks and trace it forward to now. You’ll find all your answers to the economic and social chaos caused in part by the monarchies of Europe and the Corporation of America.

Until you experience the horrors they have gone through don’t throw stones in glass houses the immigration system has been broken for years if people waited until it’s their time no one would realistically get through since there is a 20 year backlog and children who were brought here 20 years ago have been thrown out because they themselves were still not approved a decade or more later. Part of the issue is red state lax gun laws allowing cartels easy access to heavy machinery that can be taken back across the border. Do you really think corruption isn’t running all the way to the top and that the American government has not helped worsen the issues when any of these countries want control of their own fossil fuel. Consider how many rich people get to jump in line or border patrol on both sides being able to keep out legal crossings if you can’t pay their fees. If you fight the cartel military or government you will find yourself dead imprisoned and or tortured and if they are fleeing to save their family and willing to leave their whole life behind to go to a country whose language they don’t speak do you really think they can walk all the way to the border wait in a single file line hope they can request asylum and then wait 40 years to maybe get a call back for a hearing these ppl are forced into a rock and a hard place and for the majority of American politics most politicians have no interest on really figuring out a comprehensive and compassionate system to help get immigrants out of dangerous situations America barely cares about it’s homeless citizens veterans mentally or physically Ill every country is having serious issues because often leaders are really only looking out for themselves

We have Starbucks and McDonald's and our large drinks are just as big, and between your gun culture, healthcare and political climate is beyond me, so ahh no, I wouldn't move to America. It's nice to visit the US but I'd never move there.

The economic situation in Canada isn't really well summarized by an 11 minute video generalizing the entire country like this. There are massive regional income and productivity disparities between provinces, with worker productivity, median income, and GDP per capita being highest in the province in Alberta, and lowest the east coast maritime provinces. Quebec being rather poor overall (compared to Ontario), and it's place in the federation is a whole other discussion worthy of an entire video series related to Canadian economic problems. Canada is also not a typical federation; the provinces have a very large degree of autonomy and jurisdiction over affairs within their border than other subnational units in other federations. So yeah, as a Canadian with an academic background in economics and political science, I have to say that this video is a gross oversimplification, just something to note for anyone that may not know much about Canada.

Canadians are not polite, we are polite to your face, then we talk major shit when you leave the room. We outwardly embrace immigrants more, but we inwardly are just as, if not more xenophobic than americans.
2023-09-04 0
Canadian politeness is an outdated myth. Anyone who works in the service sector will attest to this as they must tolerate all kinds of abusive behaviour from the public. Our Prime Minister is out of touch. He has lived a lavish life ever since his father was PM. The Federal government is there to help corporations, not its citizens. The Provincial government are there to serve land developers and businesses, not its workers or citizens. The amount of working people who can't afford rent or food is exploding. Forget living a good life. Life in Canada now is all about survival!

Forgot to mention that it may be challenging raising the kids since it’s no longer education being taught but political correctness and white liberal theology masked as sympathetic political jargon meant to shield you from the fact that all Canadians are being turned into tax slaves by narcissistic sociopaths who believe they are saving the masses. You should also not contradict their views with your cultural or religious upbringing since this could get you in trouble with your job or who knows what else. Life here is becoming tough for ALL not just immigrants and those in charge are doing it purposely thinking it’s a good thing.

You talked about how great things about Canada are but did not touch the political issue's which India & Canada face , I.E the terrorist infiltration from India and how this is effecting the India's reputation up there , we in UK are facing the same , only difference is British Government does not use this as a Vote bank as Canadian do, any views on that? , you sounded as if you were promoting Canada and indirectly knocking India ,sadly this is NOT accepted and never touched on the natives of Canada the Aboriginal and how they are been persecuted , who are a worst condition , try telling them how wonderful Canada is, I think your visit was waisted having a tunnel vision and not giving a true picture of the place. Two of ten for trying. don't think I will Subscribe to your channel.

Oh and don’t forget that one particular province still has a sizeable proportion that wants to secede. Toronto does not represent the rest of the country. Quebec has a first right of refusal if the person doesn’t speak French. But usually Ottawa deports the ones that have integrated perfectly into Quebec society. Ottawa doesn’t want Quebec to leave and thus has played the immigration game to increase its supporters via new arrivals. There has always been two countries in Canada, and the English speaking one has always tried to drown out the French speaking one. For over 150 years, French speaking immigrants were banned from entering the country. You can thank the American revolution political refugees for that.

Corrupt politicians caring for votes of Spanish speaking communities. Meanwhile most of our soldiers are in Korea Japan and UAE. Licenses r given to illegal immigrants but they don’t give visas to educated people who come here for work. Politics race religion bullshit

What was that about “democratic and polite” government? Polite, maybe. But highly corrupted and inefficient. Truedo should be in prison!

For the people wondering why so many Venezuelans are coming to America. Venezuela is so messed up right now you can’t even get a flight there from the US directly.\n\nOfficial travel advisory from US government. Travel.State.gov :\n\nDo not travel to Venezuela due to crime, civil unrest, kidnapping, and the arbitrary enforcement of local laws. Reconsider travel due to wrongful detentions, terrorism, and poor health infrastructure.\n\nCountry Summary:  On March 11, 2019, the U.S. Department of State announced the withdrawal of diplomatic personnel from U.S. Embassy Caracas. All consular services, routine and emergency, remain suspended until further notice.\n\nViolent crimes, such as homicide, armed robbery, kidnapping, and carjacking, are common.  Political rallies and demonstrations occur, often with little notice.  Demonstrations typically elicit a strong police and security force response that includes the use of tear gas, pepper spray, and rubber bullets against participants and occasionally devolve into looting and vandalism. Reports from the Independent International Fact-Finding Mission document human rights abuses attributed to the Maduro regime, including torture, extrajudicial killings, forced disappearances, and detentions without due process and/or fair trial guarantees or as a pretext for an illegitimate purpose. Shortages of gasoline, food, electricity, water, medicine, and medical supplies continue throughout much of Venezuela. The CDC issued a Level 3 ‘Avoid Nonessential Travel’ notice on September 30, 2021, due to inadequate healthcare and the breakdown of the medical infrastructure in Venezuela.

White supremacism is a political ideology that is seen globally. Where ever so-called white people have been, it has been like a stain that its adherents, white supremacists, refuse to clean but hide under a rug. And make no mistake, one does not have to be white to be a white supremacist.

Being born and raised in Canada and immigrated to Australia there are very similar countries extremely expensive both of them, you’ve got a check out Vancouver housing prices, you’ll be shocked!\nThe weather in Canada is pretty shitty the politics it’s completely woke I and tons of drug abuse and higher crime level, but the people are friendly. You’re close to the United States and it’s more multicultural.

This video neglects to mention the enormous political influence the public-sector labour unions have in Canada. Numerous reports by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation have demonstrated that Canadians employees of Crown corporations & other government apparati are significantly wealthier than Canadians employee in the private sector who are taxed to pay for the fat government class. To boot, our most populous province, Ontario, is the most indebted sub-sovereign jurisdiction on Earth - at $400 billion, & counting.

This no good. It shows clearly that there had been no communication between the Chinese leader's escorts and the security people of the venue of the conference. A serious lapse of security. Anything coukd have happened in between the two walls of the entrance to the conference chamber. Quite astonishing ?. Remember this is a leader of a great Nation, economically and politically powerful. Putin did not come to this meeting, so this one must be given the highest security. Anyway, the Chinese President's deputy addressed the meeting. This incident could have resulted in that decision.

My greatest concern is how to recover from all these economic and global troubles and stay afloat especially with the political power tussle going on in Canada.

American politics is crazier and more entertaining than Canadian politics but it is better watched from a safe difference.. Democrats and Republicans hate each other and Democrats are trying to put Republicans in prison like in a banana republic. Trudeau is bad but not that bad and his political career is circling the drain. Our two main parties are normally sane but boring.

When you will allow mindless, useless , people who ' fake oppression ' to get a PR , what else can happen ! Yes, I am talking about Sikhs ( punjab , India ). Most self prasing community in the world now 2% of your population and swelling at a blistering pace. Canada is doomed by its faulty immigration policies and vote bank politics of the liberals.

America should be proud that these people desire to go to America to be free and to flee from Police corruption and political corruption. So many people post hateful comments against the Americans, but these same people know that there is nobody attempting to get into their country, instead they are attempting to leave. Regardless of the negative views about immigration, immigrants are a valuable investment to any country. The Irish that sought refuge from the misery and hunger from the Irish famine were treated like shit when they arrived in America after they sailed to America on the famine ships. But history proves that they were a great investment to America. So many became successful business people, they became second generation President to the USA like Andrew Jackson, Grover Cleveland, J. F Kennedy, R Regan, etc, and not to forget many Irish in Law enforcement, and the military. So stop thinking that these people are taxing your resources, they may do short term just to help them settle in, but in the long term they are asset's. These people will get employment, pay taxes, start businesses, employ people etc. Think of the glass half full and not half empty. Stop hating on these immigrants as you did with the Irish and welcome them, give them a chance, and be proud that they want to come and live in America to get away from their shitty country and try build a future for their children. What parent wouldn't want to do that for their children ? Jesus said'' Love one another as I have loved you ''

Climate change is going to accelerate American citizens migrating to Canada in a very near future, then ,there will be a cultural schock , in regard with politics, gun culture , and many more subjects, for the better or the worst.

0:01: ?? Canada has a higher percentage of immigrants than the United States and is attracting young professionals in fields like engineering, medicine, and science. \n3:41: ? The H-1B visa process for immigrants in the US is challenging and uncertain, with limited spots available and a lottery system determining selection. \n6:09: ? The process of obtaining a green card in the US is complex and restrictive, with long waiting times and limited opportunities to change employers. \n9:24: ? High-skill workers prefer immigrating to Canada due to its transparent and predictable immigration process, immediate permanent residency, and equal treatment regardless of nationality, despite lower salaries compared to the US. \n13:06: ? The high cost of housing in Canada compared to lower salaries is discouraging immigrants from settling there, while the broken American immigration system is pushing them towards Canada. \n15:25: ?? Canada is pro-immigrant and supports a multicultural society, with a majority of its political parties and citizens in favor of immigration. \nRecap by Tammy AI

Speaking as a Canadian, I couldn't imagine moving to the US. Gun violence, crowds, lack of health care, the prison industry, elected judiciary, heavily polarized politics, racism, the preference for individualism over tactfulness and shunning of people on social assistance are cultural elements I couldn't endure. Despite the fact the weather's often much better, lower air fares or cell rates, abundant shopping choices, interesting places to visit and the friendliness of most Americans, it's a hard no. We already have enough American influence here and sadly, I live in an area led by ignorant politicians who'd like to adopt us policies.

You stated you've lived in smaller cities or towns and found them to be nice ..... you're a white guy.... of course you're gonna find the people nice and friendly. It may not be so friendly or nice to anyone who's not white though. Health care coverage through a job means if you lose your job you're screwed for health care while unemployed. The USA is a dumpster fire politically and socially to the rest of the world. You're IN it so you can't see what we are from other countries who do things differently.

Alternate title:\nWhy Canadians are becoming poorer every day compared to Americans\n\nThe American system is broken from the perspective of an immigrant, but it is great from the perspective of Americans - they get higher salaries, cheaper labour through illegal immigration for bad jobs, which means even more purchasing power for them.\n\nIn addition, I'm strongly suspicious of the poll you showed about support for immigration, when decreasing immigration figures is polled as a primary interest for over 50% of people now, it's true that the main political parties are pro-immigration, but that's because the companies getting rich off of the back of Canadians both new and old support it because they can pay less for labour and demand more in household rent.

The white American patriarchal created this immigration problem. The political agendas and specials interests are evil. May America get all that it should get.

Nope....and we have McDonalds and Starbucks too....but I would never eat at Mickey D's, or buy an overpriced gooey coffee at Starbucks. Also, almost no Canadian will ask you about your religion or your politics....unless you are REALLY 'good buddies'. Americans seem to do that as a matter of habit....asking personal questions...and making snap decisions on your answers.

I'm in the far south of the US, and have never been to Canada, but I love it nonetheless, it is so beautiful! I want to go so bad. I believe I was born in the wrong state, at least, if not the wrong country. I think from what I hear and see, that I identify much more with Canadians, than I do the US, in so many ways. I love nature so much, and I've always been a very polite, respectful person, I do not like rude, hateful people, do not understand that. Maybe someday!!!

The arbitrary aspect of the immigration system is the most depressing aspect of living here in the US. I guess when the system was implemented it may have had some use (such as being impartial to everyone by employing a lottery system) but these systems are pretty outdated at this point and only a leverage for political parties to throw gang signs at each other talking about how bad immigration is. I also don’t think anyone wants to solve immigration problems really, I mean even some of the nicest local people I know throw their hands up like “I don’t know” and I think it’s because immigration suffers from the same thing that many other problems suffer from and that is a lack of focus. Illegal immigration takes up so much time and space that fixing legal immigration seems like a daunting challenge and not at all worth trying. If I were a betting person I would never hedge my bets on immigration, I just need to have the time to digest and understand a lot of knowledge about how immigration helps me and my country. It’s honestly up to the Government imo to give it the proper fix it deserves but, again, why bother if it doesn’t help?

Canada has so many Ministers/MPS/MLAs from South Asia, but Australia has none., meaning that Canada high political rights for immigrants compared to Australia.

Bro wtf, this video came out right when I was thinking of moving to Texas.\nThe house prices in Canada are just unliveable, and I really like the politics, guns, and tech sector that Texas has.\nIts beens omething iv been thinking abt for years honestly.\n\nNow while I can technically just spam my TN visa indefinitely while living in Texas, its gonna be pure unbridled CANCER tryna get a green card and possibly a dual citizenship.\nI get clowned for it, but I like America, and specifically really like Texas as a state.\nIt would be nice to be considered American and all, so im open to dual citizenships and all.\n\nBut for WHATEVER reason, the US grants greencards based on your country of BIRTH, and not the country you grew up in all your life with a citizenship in.\nThis means 20 year wait times, cus im apparently from a country I cant even remember being in.\nIts not a completely be all end all type of deal, since if I marry someone else who was born in Canada, my chargeability would be from Canada.\nSo my options are to litterally get bitches.\n\nThe whole process is cancer honestly.\nApparently it was infinitely easier in the 90s since Elon Musk also immigrated from South Africa, to Canada, and then America.\nBut times have changed, and it just really be like that.

Have you seen the state of your union? I lived there during my junior and senior high school years. Living in west Texas and Nevada. I didn’t know much nor pay attention to their politics. I would not ever move back.

Canadian (Albertan here) - yes, i don't think i'd move to the States unless it was reasonably close (maybe Montana) with fewer people - i'd like to identify as a Hermit :). I motorcycle and have travelled majority of the States, from coast to coast, and i really do like the country side and scenery, and history, that you run through. I do a 4000-6000 mile tripe every year or two - did Tennessee last year, and Colorado this summer. A lot of absolutely amazing country really, and yes some really great people as well. Have run into some real odd people as well and some places i wanted to get out of pretty quick. I do like the fact the US hasn't bought into this woke agenda and politically correctness - it's absolutely nuts up here. I like the gun laws in the States, too bad we're so screwed over that in Canada. Gotta love Trump - may be a bit of a bozo but hey - the guy lays it out and owns his shit, every other polititician plays the blame game and does everything politically correct... End of day, i'd prefer to stay in Canada, either Alberta or British Columbia.

This is crazy , wonder why the drug problem is rampant in our country ? Wonder why there is a 300% increase in crime in the cities ? Wonder why there is a housing crisis ? Wonder why our country is falling apart at the seams ? HERE IS THE REASON ! Now ….HERE IS THE SOLUTION …#1 You want citizenship here ? You are immediately enlisted in the armed forces for a minimum of 4 years .#2 You are sent to school in the military to read and write english . #3 If you refuse to swear allegiance and enlist ( you are not given visa , green card status ) nothing …you go home . #4 if you have a felony criminal record …you go home ….#5 sex offender ? You go home . #6 No money made here in the US being deposited in oversea accounts . #7 There is a limit on how much $ can be sent to the family of recent US citizens , can be lifted after 2 years of living in US . #8 No recent US citizen can hold any political office , anywhere …#9 Failure to abide by the laws in this country be it state or federal , you go home citizenship revoked ( within reason ) #10 No flying your previous countries flag or colors on your car or home . What ? Sound communist ? It’s not , these are guidelines for several countries , Israel being one , there it’s 2 years military svc , women included . New Zealand , Australia , japan , etc …….

I visited Florida a few months ago with my friends for vacation. I could not relax fully the entire time there. You always feel on edge because you don't know who is carrying a weapon or in such a hostile political climate who would unalive you for disagreeing with them. It felt like a different planet in some ways and that I definitely didn't belong.\n\nAlso with my chronic health condition and more you could not pay me to live in most parts of the US
