It’s not a post covid thing. it’s a government of canada thing. We’ve increased our population by 2.9% (over 1 million people )in the last year alone. It has to stop. Here in Nova Scotia our homeless rate has doubled since 2015…rent and home ownership In Halifax is almost impossible now. Tent cities are growing in Halifax like i’ve never witnessed before. In just 2 years our residents without a doctor went from 85k to 150k. And our government here in NS wants to double our population by 2060. ? And it’s damn near impossible to get a decent job ffs …wages are shit. Everyone’s getting poorer and our quality of life is getting worse.

Sad thing is, you guys are the forerunners of what is already coming in other places. \nI can say and confirm Sydney-Australia, is going down the EXACT SAME PATH. We dont have the refuge problem experienced in Canada and really adds up to the problem, however real estate speculation has totally de railed and it's spinning out of control. US is far better for individuals who wants to grow and work on themselves. I lived in US for 2 years and I got the best education learned a lot and met one of the most ambitious people. I always was motivated to do more. US boosted my education and career. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay there due to immigration issues. I moved to Canada and I am here for almost 5 years now and I am still struggling just to make ends meet. Every day I am looking for ways to get out of here back to US or elsewhere. Legalization of drugs, prohibitably expensive housing, poor access to health care, lack of availability of well paying jobs, massive intake of immigrants, overtaxation and fewer businesses opportunities. Canada was great place to live back in 1990s and early 2000s. Everything is going downhill after 2018. Immediately they need to fix immigration, taxation, healthcare, housing, drugs, and support small businesses.Else, Canada will continue to be the place of broken dreams.

Hamilton is another Canadian city that has undergone major changes. There are now tent cities in every city park. Rents are unaffordable for many people. I know someone who just leased a two bedroom apartment for $2600 plus hydro. Food prices seem to be on the rise everywhere in Canada. A house will never be affordable for many working couples. Crime is much more than five years ago. Much of this has to do with the tolerance and accommodation that occurred during COVID.

Excellent Interview I have ever seen. This gentleman is very dynamic . He has great courage and taking decision with very confidence, and that is why he became an industrialist in Canada. He has inspired me at the age of 75+. I started business with only Rs.10 thousand in India. I succeed and developed my business very nicely. Some how taking some wrong emotional decision on my family issue, right now I am out of business. I hope to redevelop some new business and to get success. During my business period I got US green card and got US citizenship. But still I am out of business and that is very painful for me.
