Forgot to mention that it may be challenging raising the kids since it’s no longer education being taught but political correctness and white liberal theology masked as sympathetic political jargon meant to shield you from the fact that all Canadians are being turned into tax slaves by narcissistic sociopaths who believe they are saving the masses. You should also not contradict their views with your cultural or religious upbringing since this could get you in trouble with your job or who knows what else. Life here is becoming tough for ALL not just immigrants and those in charge are doing it purposely thinking it’s a good thing.

If this continues what are Americans going to do. We work long hours on jobs for our checks and before we get it money is taken out hardly leaving enough money to pay bills and buy food . What makes them feel that they are entitled to our resources, it needs to be done the right way. We can bearly pay rent with what we have after taxes in many cases . We dont pay taxes they take the money out so you aren't PAYING TAXES. Im done. These people need to stay home and try to bring about change.

I used to live in Turkey ??, I saw so many Canada and US citizens living in Turkey. When I asked them why they left Canada , they said that they can’t live in Canada that life is not in Canada . They’re well educated while living in Canada but left because of high cost of tax and livin. They told me that Turkey is cheaper also rent in turkey is way cheap even living in a better apartment close to sea with big rooms.

Everything this man is saying it is true, these people have a way of paying you heavily and taking it right back. I live here in the Netherlands it is not easy, you will pay the government until you will get confused. They will tax you for everything.

As an older person who migrated decades ago after protesting in my old country, I encourage young people below 45 to FIGHT for your countries. Fight bad goverments. 7 billion people on the planet cannot move to the few western countries that seem to work and appear attractive on the surface, it’s not possible. The taxpayers in those countries are feeling it. Look at the folks sleeping on the floor in NY! The homeless citizens don’t have places to sleep but politicians are lodging new border crossing migrants in hotels at taxpayers expense, creating resentment! \n\nFight those oppressing you in your countries. Black America “fought” to eliminate Jim Crow so we can even move here. Black America and the White allies who struggled for civil rights ARE the reason the west has even been tolerant of the amount of immigration in the last 40 years! \n\nThere is no peace without a fight… even after the civil rights fights including the million man March 60 years ago? by MLK, the struggle against racism continues. \n\nHe left because of his children but will find out in 25 years time that they will want to connect with their roots even after succeeding in the West. \n\nYoung folks, take African, Latin American, Caribbean and Asian countries back from oppressive greedy corrupt rulers to reduce the need to leave our places of birth. I “fought” oppressive corrupt regimes with other like minded folks when I was younger before leaving! I wish we were more that were interested in protesting! Now folks are giving up without a serious protest, distracted by entertainment and the illusion of utopian countries which is not true. They find out too late! \n\nWestern politicians and governments need to stop cooperating with oppressive governments in these areas if they truly want to tackle immigration. Freeze their stolen loot like we did to the Russian oligarchs, force them to return the loot into their various economies and create good middle class jobs! \n\nThe west works because most work is assembly line in nature, glorifies slavery. A doctor has a target of about 15 to 20 patients to see per day and rushes you out of his office because the corporation he works for only cares about money and KPIs! You really aren’t allowed to interact with patients and provide personalized service. A pharmacist has to fill anything between 200 to 350 prescriptions, give a certain number of immunizations and see a certain No of patients per day. There is no time for niceties! A corporate professional May work remotely but has to deliver on so many projects he is up till 10pm and only gets up to eat. We have beautiful homes, drive nice cars etc but MUST work like the clock in an assembly line fashion! Most of us pay so much of our income as taxes we end up with less than 70% as paychecks! Things aren’t always what they seem!

The border needs to be absolute. There has to be more security...this has to stop. All of the people (complete idiots) who whined and cried and said having a secure border is racist and xenophobic...are getting what they asked for. We need a Jurassic Park style fence at the border. I would expect to be fired upon if I were trying this in another country...but here they just get OUR tax dollars. Sick of it.

Canada has focused too long on being a raw resource economy with the world. \n\nTax policies in Canada are also high cost to businesses and people. The per capita number of civil servants to population is grossly high. And that only 2/3 of the population actually work for income … and you have a lot of dead weight that the workers are paying to upkeep. Most people are paying 40 cents of every dollar on taxes. This type of taxation makes the country unattractive to high income earners who could pay a lot less taxes in the USA and get a better lifestyle in the USA because everything is cheaper down there.

I think it’s funny when Africans come to the west and complain about taxes. Taxes are why the country runs and the institutions work . In Nigeria , healthcare is deplorable because of a lot of factors like corruption even from the average Nigerian.

अच्छी बात कही, वहां कमाओ और उससे यहां बनाओ ,, 10,20 साल लगाओ और आके अच्छा बुढ़ापा बिताओ। पर वहां से कितने आते हैं वापिस ?\n\nकुछ बातें रह गई।\nमेडिकल सर्विस कम है। पर अब प्राइवेट प्रैक्टिस का प्रोविजन आ रहा है। रिपेयर महंगी ,, कार, बिजली, प्लंबर, लकड़ी कुछ भी। मतलब ,, हाथ से काम करने वाले के लिए बहुत अच्छा मौका है।\n\nअच्छी बातें और भी हैं।\nवातावरण शुद्ध । \nउसूल के पक्के अंग्रेज़ लोग। \nभ्रष्टाचार नहीं है। रिजर्वेशन जैसी समस्या नहीं नौकरी में। काबिल को नौकरी जरूर मिलेगी। अगर कोई अधिक पैसे का काम कर रहा है तो बोलना नही पड़ेगा, वो खुद बढ़ा देते हैं। अगर लगातार काम कर रहा है तो रेस्ट के लिए बोलेंगे चाहे आप ना भी मांगो। वहां सरकारी दफ्तरों में ढंग से काम होता है। यहां फाइल दबी रहती है। पैसा चढ़ता है। बिजली कटौती नहीं है, यहां आती नहीं है। वहां सड़क पे खड्डे नहीं, यहां ठीक ही नहीं होते। सड़क बनती है तो सीवर वाले खोल देते हैं। फिर साल भर मिट्टी और वन वे। स्ट्रीट लाइट जलती है। रात में भी लोग ट्रैफिक नियम से चलते हैं। भारत गुंडे मवाली या मनचले किधर से भी आ के आपकी स्कूटर ठोकते हैं फिर आपको ठोकते है। पुलिस वालों को बोलो तो इंसाफ तो दूर की बात पैसे और मांगते हैं। वहां ऐसा नही। चैन मोबाइल झपटमार नहीं है। धर्म जाति दंगे नहीं है। नेता scam नही करते। वहां लोग किसी काम को छोटा नहीं समझते। यहां ट्रक ड्राइवर बोलो तो रिश्ता नहीं मिलता। अफीमी चरसी होगा ,, बोला जाता है। \nवो Tax लेते है तो सुविधा देते हैं। तो लाइफ तो अच्छी ही है।\nरही बात मकान की ,,,\nभारत में भी जो लोग मकान बनाते हैं 15 से 20 साल तक तो वह भी किशतें भरते हैं जो नए सिरे से अपनी शुरूआत करते हैं। तो कैनेडा में किसी ने 20 साल तक भरी तो कौन सी बड़ी बात है। सब जगह ऐसा ही है। बाप दादा की संपति है तो और बात है।

The worst part the government doesn’t care so long they collect their high tax , they are fine. The discrimination is hidden, I prefer an open one, I have made up my mind to save a little money if that’s will even be possible & move back to Nigeria. Thank God i left Canada 21 years ago. In the 90s it was a decent place. But when my company shut down i couldnt find a job in the same field (stock broker, investmentbank). Moved to US & made 6 figure income tax free as i was working in Florida on H1B Visa. In USA u can earn more money than ??

I had to sell my condo because of all the drug addict population increasing in my neighborhood downtown and the government put some injection sites all around downtown Toronto ; it has become disgusting and dangerous because all those people just trash everything they touch and wherever they go, and then because I didn't agree with all the discrimination taxes and xenophobia from the government's part. I am glad I was able to get the hell out before the total collapse of the economy and real estate prices and I don't regret it 1 minute. Canada sucks really.

The problem with Canada? We’re going through the same here in Uk 8 million a day on hotels bills to house them paid by us the tax payer and that’s just the illegals coming from France to Dover by dingy and ex servicemen are living n the streets because of the housing crisis.

I feel very safe in downtown Toronto because I am accustomed to it. I've never experienced any issue with the homeless and continue to talk to them, offer them food IFFFF they just happen to be pan-handling and often hug them to make them very SEEN. I feel safer in downtown Toronto at 3 am then I do when the 905'ers (suburban types) come to party in the entertainment district or around any French-separatist bc of how they are liable to treat me for my lack of decent conversational French. Well made. Wish I had this info atleast a decade ago. I’m one of the Sanjay. Immigrated to US in 2008 from India. In the green card queue for 10 years. Not sure if I get it in my lifetime. I have a foreign born daughter who I brought here when she was only few months old. She might have to self deport in a few years when she is 21. This is her home and only country she knew.\n\nThe US immigration system is cruel for people like Sanjay. And for all the people who come here with no invite but the others have to wait in line, you should be required to do community work for free to pay back the kindness and not be given any assistance or tax credit at the end of the year.
