Very good video, I wish I knew it all in 2014! Taxes, OMG this was such a nasty surprise when my grocery bill was higher than what I saw on a price tag. Funny that a lot of this is true in Switzerland as well. Switzerland hates overachievers but values team work. Always respect your team, help and be polite are absolute dealbreakers. Other aspects of cultural norm also works. Remember how Canadians were closed when it comes to personal topics, Swiss people are reserved and it takes time to get closer to them but they can also been direct when it comes to a civil state, at least this happened to me. \nFunny fact: when I arrived in Switzerland I had Canadian views of a distance and annoyed people by saying 80km is close, but when I explained I used to live in Canada they understand I need time to adjust. \nI lived 5yrs in Toronto and never get issues with winter, but I hate summer heat not winter.

Mention education. I left Canada recently and moved to the US. Education in community colleges is a joke. If you do an education video, I can help you.

excellent video! It's sooo hard to have someone talking about these issues here in Canada. Years ago, before moving here, I didn't find much.

Thanks for sharing! Could you make a video about pension system in Canada? If it depends on salary and number of years worked. Does the savings come from taxes for retirement or does the government pay some standard amount regardless of earnings? etc.

I want to move from us to Canada, mean reason the immigration is broken in usa for Indian and I don’t want my Indian born kid to face same uncertainty . We are earning in upward of 500k and have to take massive pay cut. After reading the comments and watching videos. I’m getting so confuse. I’m okay to earn less money but Canada should at least provide better healthcare and housing. Look like lot of thing are broken in Canada. Does moving to Canada is really worth? Would people commenting here, will you ever move back to your home country?

ok so which specific factors are you using .... there's a lot of bias and data is easily manipulated to reflect whatever you want ... so ... ignoring this video is probably the most statistically responsible action ... bye bye

Great video. I have been here for a year and one thing that stuck with me is the blatant discrimination towards immigrants. But when I learned that what I am experiencing is a fraction what First Nation experience

This is your opinion author. The thing is same everywhere. You can make joy everywhere you want. You can make friends.. good neighbours... it is totally up to you. I want to leave my home country bcs of low salary, corruption, no gas, no electricity in winter... I want to live in a country where there is fairness, development, best education for my children etc. Why are you not leaving USA or Canada where you are living now? Why are you making inspiring videos regarding US immigration or sth like that if you think negatively? Just go to Africa never return to this country if you don't like... but don't make this kind of videos.

I found the idea of ranking Province to be quite silly, until I saw Quebec was ranked on top. Now I think that this video is highly accurate, scientific, and an absolute truth.

Beautiful and classy ladys... Very enjoyable video. Kudos to you from a Canadian immigrant living abroad. In 1988 in a snowy day, around noon, when returning to my parked car in Square One. Mississauga ON, I slipped and fractured my right hand. The pain was excruciating. Got to the closest hospital emergency room, and I had to leave without being seen by a Dr after 4 or 5 hours waiting, in the most horrible pain I ever felt. I asked but was not given any pain killer. It was not until I returned there that night, that they could see me. They did not do X ray exam, and what they put in my fractured hand cast was incorrect, and the pain continued. Next day after begging for an appointment, I went to a regular Dr office, and she corrected the cast the hospital put wrong. After so many hours I was in excruciating pain without reliable help, made me think and decide maybe that Canada was not what I was heard about it. I had already noticed how expensive living there was. Plus the racist nature of many Canadians, made me realize that I will never have their friendship. I live in the USA ever since the year 1989, and although I absolutely love Canada, I am not interested in living there again. PS> Weather was nasty cold, but the country is prepared to life around that type of weather, so that was not a problem for me. I look forward seeing more of your videos.

Hello,\nThank you for descriptive video. Just have few questions. Just to make sure I’m doing it the correct way.\n1) Do I still need to fill IMM 5757e & IMM 5645e forms?\n\n2) What about document checklist and photo which was mandatory to upload earlier? Did you upload any doc checklist and parent’s photos in new IRCC form?\n\n3) Do I also need to make a GC key account and link this IRCC acc to that GC key account?\n\n4) Other than this IRCC website application, do I need to fill any other form to upload with it?\n\nThanks in advance ??

Currently, I'm studying in Canada and this video opened my eyes to the dark side of Canadian college that I never knew about. What I can say is never let your guard down. I did the research, I picked the right college. Even in Canada, I stay alerted. Only by staying strong and resilient, the Canadian dream might come true.

Hi, can you also make one video talking about how a new immigrant gets his Canadian passport, and then move to the US for working? And then the path to US green card? I move to Canada and I just want to treat it as a stepping stone and finally move to the States! What can the paths be?

Nice video and some good points made, but I notice a sense of bitterness in your tone and also in your comments. It seems some events in Australia have angered you and now the Canada option is being viewed through rose-coloured glasses. Surprised you didn't try other cities in Australia first, I really like Perth but would find it challenging to live there. Anyway, proof will be in the the pudding. I have subscribed to see how it all goes for you in Canada. Best wishes.

Oh well, Indian ApplyBoard recruiters are scamming their own indian people. please students from other countries. What is new? Indians scam and steal from each other in india. Watching this video made at first think that Canada is doing something bad but the THE TRUTH is that it is INDIANS IN CANADA AND AROUND THE WORLD ARE SCAMMING INDIANS IN INDIA. Canada has nothing to do with this.

Thank you for the video) my friend I am from Russia, I came to Canada. I am trying to understand how people live here, I have been living in Winnipeg for a month. It seems that Canada is a safe country. Europe and former Soviet countries are constantly in a state of war and revolutions, changes of government, lack of protection of private property rights. It seems to me that this is what makes Canada so attractive. In Russia kindergartens and schools are behind bars, authorities keep everyone under lock and key, they say this is for our security. In Canada, people are free,

Hi, as a Canadian ( born and raised ) I like to welcome you and your sister to Canada. We are very lucky that you chose Canada to be your home. Winter is soon to arrive so I like to give you a piece of advice - get yourself a warm winter coat, mittens and a winter hat to keep you warm. I am looking forward to watch your videos on your new adventure of your life's story. Enjoy yourself in Canada and please keep warm.

America wins in my opinion. I think this is more of a video based on Canadian pride rather than facts. things Like half a point for hygiene gets thrown in there which is just a slap in the face to Americans.\nThen idiotic statements about it being better because it's more gay friendly. Why would anyone want to take their child to the land of pedophiles. \nThey also talked about their terrible gun laws as if they were doing something good for Canada.\nAmerica wins by a land slide.

Hi, \nNice Informatory video ??\nI have 1 query, Can I update the language test scores after I have already submitted a Express Entry profile? \nmeaning - I am planning on taking up french test to add to my CRS score, but that may take 7-8 months of preperation. So if I create a Express entry profile now and then update it later when I get the TEF score, will it work?
