So many people fleeing their homelands around the world. Conflict, climate change, and lack of the bare necessities and all the little things we have come to expect from life. I am sure that they don't really want to be here. But they are all in survival mode. So, whatever it takes to live another day.

My family waited ten whole years for paperwork’s and an interview, we did everything possible to save money and lived frugally as possible. I understand where they come from but as a legal immigrant it angers me to see people just shoving their way into the country. What about the ones that did it legally? If you let people come in by just shoving their way in then you might as well put up a welcome sign and have open borders. I know they were stopped but we’re getting to the point of just high fiving as people barge in.

That's the importance of America's involvement in other countries. The places these people are fleeing is where the answer to this problem resides. Nothing and no one will stop people from trying to get to a better place, it's human nature. Mexico has everything to do with this which creates new avenues for long term changes that would demand their participation, failure to do so would have...consequences. After all, that's where they're coming from prior to crossing into the U.S. This can be corrected.

This has been happening on mexicos southern border for months now. Mexicos president is wayyyy too nice to kick them out like the US is. And most of these people are stealing homes, kicking locals out of their homes and taking over small cities in Mexico. It's not usa problem neither Mexicos problem. It's the southern countries problem. They don't come here as peacefully as most immigrants that come from Mexico. So many people have already been hurt by all these people just barging into Mexico and people in Mexico are suffering for this same reason.

This is sickening to see, i feel bad for those that came here the correct way and got their citizenship. Ive read alot of comments that say well if the usa didnt have such stringent rules to become a citizen, then this wouldnt happen. Thats like applying for a job without giving them any information about yourself, and expecting to get that job with no experience. Is it so bad these people should learn about our history and culture, need to be bi lingual and go through the entire vetting process? The answer is they should because if we went to anyother country, we would be expected to learn about their culture. You cant even live in cananda unless you have a certain amount of money and takes years to become a citizen, why shouldnt our border be any different? The fact of the matter is our government needs to wake up, put politics aside and address the issues. I have no problem with people coming here, it they need to become legel and pay taxes like everyone else. We are sick of paying for people that do nothing to contribute to our economy. I am descendant of Latinos, and I do not agree with this administration has caused. I met someone in a Walmart parking lot from Venezuela. He had been here in Atlanta for 10 days and didn’t know anyone. He told me he came to the US because Biden promised all Venezuelans asylum and therefore be legalized in the US. So I genuinely asked him how his country was, and he said that things were very difficult; not being able to afford basic things, so then I said “well, I’m sure that is the result of the presidents decisions, most precisely socialism/communism,” I thought he was going to agree and he said “no, our president and former president had good ideas and plans.” My point is that all of these people coming from Venezuelan are fleeing their country because of the negative situation that sadly is taking place in their country, however their mindsets have been corrupted by thinking they deserve to have “free” things. All of these ppl will be legalized and they will be able to vote very soon, so these ppl will vote democrat because they were given this opportunity by Biden. This is a very demonic man by the left, and sadly this will cause a lot negative results to the US. It’s too late to revert this, soon we will see the negative consequences of what this administration is causing to this country ?

Look, I'm all for helping others, but this is not the way to go. I live near the border and have had to chase people out of my property. I've caught people staring at me through my window (I live by myself, so I was kinda nervous) I don't care if people come into the country as long as its legally.

All of the benefits that they're flocking here to receive cast of 75% of their wages to deter them charge them more for rent for food they did not come here legally they should not get it through ride exponentially harder for them to survive in this country for being here illegally I don't work 50 plus hours a week to Fairleigh feed my children and watch these people walk around a brand new iPhone a government-subsidized phone fuck these people

The UK is pretty much like Canada, now. There is only room for the 5% who are rich (the capitalists & rentiers) and the 35% of people on Benefits (the 35% of population who live off welfare paid for by the State using the hard-working tax payer's money). The honest, hard-working middle-class (about 50 to 60% of society) are absolutely screwed and doomed, because all they can now do is keep working their guts out till they drop dead, and never hope to have a decent life. The culture of state-funded Welfare has now gotten so bad that I now live in a street where some 30% of the people who live off Welfare have been given State funded houses, and those houses which are bigger and better than mine (all paid for using my tax money). And I have slogged my entire life (I am 65 now) to pay off a large mortgage on a house that eventually has lower value than the houses that people on Welfare are given on the same Street! Worse still, now that I am approaching the stage where I might need to go into a Care Home, my house (which I worked for my entire life to attain) will have to be sold off to pay for my Care Home costs. While my neighbours who never worked a single day in their life (and whose life was subsidized using my tax money) will again get free state-funded Care Home facility too! It utterly beggars belief. \n\nWhen state-funded Welfare gets to a point that doing an honest day's work actually penalizes you, because all you are doing is funding the lifestyles of the other half of society who wish to sponge off State Welfare (due to the high taxes the Government is forced to impose on the working middle-class to support the 35% on State benefits), then that society can never prosper, firstly because it removes the motivation to work hard, and secondly because some day the Government will run out of money to continuing funding the lavish lifestyles of people on State Welfare. And that is very much now the state of affairs in countries like Canada, the UK, and much of EU. It is an unsustainable model. \n\nBy contrast, in countries like the US, China, India, etc. there is a much greater correlation between hard work and reward. Choosing to not go to work and sponging off Governmental welfare is simply not an option. And that is precisely why countries like these will continue to prosper in the coming years - because they have some form of Meritocracy. Unfortunately, I think countries like the UK, Canada, and most western EU countries are looking at a downward spiral, and there are no easy solutions, because their Welfare model has already created these huge segments of society which depend on it and will not allow it to be demolished - but the day is fast approaching where they will all soon run out of money to continue funding it (most of these countries are already facing huge Debt-GDP ratios, and there is no conceivable way of them coming out of it).

They come to the United States. And get free housing vouchers, food clothes, and live better than the people that have been here all their lives. And so many of them get a big head. I don't understand why they don't take care of their country.

I don't understand why they want to come to the US so badly. The average people here are struggling. You work but you still can't afford much at all. The average worker is one paycheck from being homeless or already living back with their parents.

This is why mom always say; don't tell people what nice things u have they'll come and take it ?

The world can't fucking live here they need to solve some of their own problems. Somehow The United States of America was able to be a successful concept. We are no more mineral resource rich than most of these other countries. Why can't they ever succeed like we did. Or European nations did. I just don't understand it. One thing I do know is that the entire world population can't be shoved into this fucking country without the entire thing breaking, becoming just like the rest of these Third World shitholes these people come from.

Honestly, I'm so sorry the people in Mexico are suffering but PLEASE don't come to America. There is not enough housing for our people AND theirs. There is not enough resources for our people AND theirs. We're trying to survive here too and coming here is making it harder for everyone else here in a similar position.

when i was a kid in highschool i used to say they should be allowed to come here without a green card bc they are fleeing from war/death/searching for a better life but now i realize we have so many of our own people struggling to survive we need to deal with our own problems as a country before we can let other ppl in our country

If too many Mexicans come over construction will be done too fast and there will be more houses made and then house prices will drop and this can't happen because I'm rich and I benefit off of limited housing. If hard working people start making houses at near minum range I won't make enough money.
