TLDR the US immigration system works overwhelmingly in the American's interest. The Canadian one, not so much, as it does not put Canadian workers as first priority with the lack of a PERM labour certificate system.

That comment about no enjoyment with their work was spot on. We work with older equipment older software our businesses dont invest like american ones do. We dont get new forklifts. I wish I wasn’t Canadian sometimes because of the influx of migrants that put too much pressure on our limited ability to integrate them. Partly due limited housing, especially on lower income supply. I know it’s not their fault for trying to get a better life. My recent exposure to the new wave of immigrants many are uncultured when they first arrive, Also adding stress to our failing healthcare system. Some are scamming the employment & welfare system, and get more financial assistance from the government than the people born and raised in the country. I’m embarrassed at the failure of Canada and its government to give not only the Canadians good governance and proper quality of life, but the new migrants whom we welcome the ability to not just survive but thrive. Personally I believe that immigrants should be forced away from the densely populated areas to the other provinces and territories that actually require their skills and expertise.

I had to sell my condo because of all the drug addict population increasing in my neighborhood downtown and the government put some injection sites all around downtown Toronto ; it has become disgusting and dangerous because all those people just trash everything they touch and wherever they go, and then because I didn't agree with all the discrimination taxes and xenophobia from the government's part. I am glad I was able to get the hell out before the total collapse of the economy and real estate prices and I don't regret it 1 minute. Canada sucks really.
