There is some issue in the video quality, getting stuck on multiple instances

After your first video on the Khalistan issue again wonderful job Nitish. It is becoming increasingly difficult to make people understand that demanding justice, rights or something else from the government doesn't make a community antinational and anarchist.

That's what i've been saying, we need economic reform. Whenever i've raised my concerns for the punjab's issue, i've been called anti national, terrorists by the Indians. That is one reason why sikhs here in canada have started using their identity as Punjabi over Indian. Whenever anyone asks me where I'm from, I just simply say Punjab not India.

Why don't you talk about fact that Punjab is the only state in india who doesn't have control over its water. 70% of Punjab water is given to Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi. Then you guys give an argument that Haryana was with Punjab before, but the fact is when you calculate the water sharing between Punjab and Haryana, India doesn't include yamuna water. Yamuna water is only reserved for Haryana and Punjab water is forced to be shared. Narmada tribunal denied Rajasthan any water because its non riparian state. only 0.5 MAF water was given to them after taking Guj,MP and Maha Cm's consent. Where as 8.5MAF water ie 51% of punjab's water is given to Rajasthan. Every state has a right over its water and headworks except Punjab. we have no option other than using pumps. Punjab is nothing more than a food producing colony for the Indian state. Indian state has used and thrown Punjab. You seem like a reasonable man Mr Rajput I hope you take up this issue. Ive read alot about it issue I'm willing to share NASA, UN and indian govt data with you if you wish.

and this is my first ever comment on any youtube video but really you forced me to comment. You exactly raised the issues Punjab facing right now and what every youngster feels about punjab right now. Punjab really needs an industry boom. Opinions sometimes may be different and you tried to be very nuetral but still it's most authentic. Really shout out to your research.

It's post-COVID and post-Tory fall out. As well as meddling by Ford. Maybe Chow will make a difference, but the issues stem from chronic under funding and mismanagement going back a long time, so who knows. Feds and province need to stop undermining Toronto's infrastructure and see it for how important it is for the country as a whole. Yeah, I know the joke about being the centre of the universe but having lived in various places across the country, the economy and population of Toronto DO make it very integral to the whole country.

I don't like Toronto. Tired of the rude people and too many immigrants and high rent. It is overcrowded. People push you to get on board the train and refuse to wait for the next train. I would rather work remotely and yes it is not worth living in. Transportation is not as reliable and too many people travelling downtown and back uptown especially during rush hour. If GoTransit breaks down, there aren't that many alternative options to travel. There are many issues including Internet service is not stable. Yes the pay is not enough yet to cover the cost for a place. They want to build more housing in Toronto but it is the worst idea and will make it even more unaffordable. Smaller towns and other cities are better. Bramption also is not a recommended place to move to. Immigration should be recommending people to live in less populated places.

Having lived in Sweden for 25yrs, i decided to study engineering in IT which paved great opportunities, It never happened overnight, but when i try to advice pple back at home about moving abroad, i realize it's difficult for most pple to understand. Abroad has it's issues, the difference is that the systems are functional and flows automatically.

Why was Olivia Chow elected if the city has sooo many social issues? What was the voter turnout? Wouldn't the citizens want a tougher and stronger mayor?

Enjoy '

Why is Canada still issuing the visit visas? If you think about it, this is slavery all over again. Black people(read agents) selling their own to the West. In the end, desparation will make these people take jobs for as little as shelter, they will definitely be taken advantage of. History repeating itself.

????? ok but im genuinely curious where the alternatives are. \nI live in Vancouver and can't see any other city in canada as an upgrade. US has alot of political and safety issues and housing is becoming just as bad. Australia's housing sucks. UK is having a housing and economic meltdown. Southern Europe has had a terrible economy for a while. That just leaves parts of South america/ asia and northern Europe. \nAnd south america or asia are only good with remote work. Im in Healthcare and cant work remotely. \nSeems like everywhere I look there is a problem. I might just van life it tbh

The problem actually isn't inflation, at least here in Kenya. Currently inflation went down from 7.3% to 6.8% . The elephant in the room, call it over taxation. Eventually, things will balance out because really, there is so much a government could tax it's citizen before equilibrity is achieved. I opine that we all calm down, relax. Things will fall into place. Just hold on. I'm not one to give hope, but on this issue I'm sure, a utopian settlement is near.

Adress this issue as well.I know someone who used these agents, got the visa when they were about to travel they received a mail from the embassy blocking them from traveling...stacked now!!,

Toronto’s biggest issue is that it accidentally became the largest city in Canada (Montreal was always Canadas premier city until QC tried to separate). As a result the city simply had no clue how to manage such a change in population growth, housing, city design, etc., and now it’s biting them in the behind, this crisis was years and possibly decades in the making

When you immigrate, to get any Govt service like a Driving License, School admission, and even a job, you need a social security/insurance number. That number is pegged on your entry visa. If you are a visitor, you have to convince the Govt why they should let you work? If you are a student, it is limited the number of hours you work. Any employer is obligated to employ only those with credentials. If you are coming for work, like Nurses do, employers will have done your paperwork. Green cards are one legal way to immigrate. If you have legal papers, you make your way around without issues. Cost of living varies on location. As for skills, you need them, get them over time. There are good and bad stories, even locals who mess up end up in crap like an illegal immigrant would.

Yes we have so many unregulated agents who are applying for visit visas which doesn't allow you to work. The only option is to destroy identity documents and seek refugee status afresh . These unscrupulous agents very popular on Tiktok charge btwn 150k to 200k unrefundable.... That's the problem. The issue of canadians leaving their country is prob far fectched coz Those guys know how to set their economy to benefit their citizens and not immigrants

Montreal has drastically changed since the pandemic for the worst. I know its not as bad as Vancouver and Toronto, but it’s facing similar issues. I’m ready to leave the city (montreal) and move in the country side.

I've lived in Toronto for almost 20 years, and I can't wait to get out. The plan is to move somewhere else in the spring, just figuring out where. Toronto now breaks my heart-- you see people seriously struggling everywhere, and it's hard to see it in contrast with the opulent wealth that much of the city has. We're lucky to be in a rent-controlled apartment and we've been here for over a decade, and there's no way we'd find anything even remotely similar here now (the apartment we live in would go up at least $1000 if we leave). The safety is also an issue- I live in a fairly busy area that used to be extremely safe (I used to walk home alone at midnight in high school) and now I rarely leave my apartment after dark. There's very angry, erratic people, many on substances, and I've had some rough encounters already. And don't get me started on public transport.... My sister saw someone almost get randomly pushed into the subway tracks yesterday, and obviously that doesn't get reported. It's worse than people think, and it's only gonna get more horrible once winter hits.

Most of the issues mentioned in the video are common in cities the size of Toronto elsewhere in the western world; I have family/friends all over and they have similar gripes about cities like London, Berlin and NYC. The precipitous decline in the last few years is indeed due to the fall out from COVID, both economy-wise and mental health-wise, and most countries in the world are still recovering from it. It's tough everywhere you look, but I do hope it's a temporary situation that will blow over sooner rather than later. Having said that, one thing that's probably worse in Toronto (and Vancouver) than most cities their size (I know that Toronto is much bigger, but Vancouver is a big city in its own right) is the housing situation, which had already been a problem before COVID in those two cities and it has only gotten worse since so it's now a real crisis that needs the municipal, provincial and federal governments to work together to address ASAP.

This comment section and video are so pessimistic. Generalizing about an entire city removed from the context of all other comparable surrounding cities.\n\nIt’s not the city that is awful, it’s how legal systems in place enable property owners and landlords to collectively screw the citizens of the city. It’s how corporate greed and income inequality disproportionately affect the least fortunate.\n\nWould also like to see data related to the alleged increase in crime on the TTC.\n\nThe complaints about mental health wait times are not a Toronto issue, but a nationwide issue.\n\nThis video is hardly personal, relies on a few clips from CBC, CTV, and CP24, and doesn’t get to the heart of what it is like to be an everyday citizen of the city. Just looking for clicks with minimal value provided.
