These videos are important to let people know that Canada is really not a great place. I suppose the only really good thing about Canada is it is better than Haiti or Afghanistan. The climate is horrible, cost of living and taxes are very high and services like health care are spotty.

Every liberal town or province has become a shithole, and this has been pretty consistent even when you look south of the boarder. Want to know what works? Natural diversity, not forced diversity. If you introduce multicultural immigration, it allows those who come in to adjust at a normal and consistent pace. This allows immigrants to get the education they need, the job they need, and the position they are qualified and skilled for. Forced diversity only breaks the system, and immigrants gets lost in it and are not able to get the necessary education and skill they need. Therefore, you have the lack of diversity in any corporation or business that are operating today.

I have already been through biometrics and medical examination by IOM. Received a letter by IRCC regarding Pre-Arrival Services. When I checked today at IRCC website for estimated time period for Government Assisted Refugees Program, it shows 31 months in the country where I am currently hiding. The figures don't tell all of the story when it comes to physician salary comparisons and tax-to-GDP ratios, for instance. Truly, doctors in the US can earn a lot more, but they also have to spend a lot of that on legal indemnity insurance because the US is the home of spurious litigation. The availability of doctors in Canada being damaged by the attraction of the USA is just part of a global phenomenon - professionally-qualified people will go wherever the money is best, so less-developed nations lose medical staff to richer nations. The UK effectively steals a lot of medical staff from the Philippines and sub-Saharan Africa, for instance.\n\nI notice that the UK is listed just above Canada on the tax-to-GDP table, but government spending is waaaaaaay higher than that (more like 45% and heading for 50%) and honestly to my knowledge the UK has had tax-to-GDP figures above 40% for many years (even at its lowest during the past 50 years it's probably never dipped below 35%). I don't know where the figures in that table came from, but I bet that there are some shenanigans behind them. For instance, the UK personal taxation load is heavily weighted by taxes on goods, but big companies often pay very little tax themselves. Ireland is an even more extreme example of that phenomenon - I note their relatively-low placing on the tax-to-GDP table. Multinationals see Ireland as a tax haven these days.\nLet me be clear - I'm absolutely not a a fan of socialism and fully advocate for lower taxes and smaller Government. Trudeau is a nightmare totalitarian. The events of 2020+ showed some national leaders in a revealing light. Canada and New Zealand are now two countries I could never consider living in. Quebec banning the hijab was literally ending racism. Catholic habits had been banned for decades. They finally said that if one religion isn't allowed, neither will the other one be allowed. That's called equality, not racism. I have no love for Quebec, but the one thing they do get right, is they treat different people groups (aside from French/English division) more or less the same. Using Quebec as an example shows how little you know about what's happening in Canada, and how easily you are controlled by our propaganda arm known as Canadian media.

I don't know where this lady is coming from, but assuming that banning the hijab for police, judges, teachers and so on is a form or racism is as dumb as possible. Yes, I agree on some of the comments like; silent racism, cost of living and also about the dark history about Indigenous kids disappearance in catholic school.I know am 10yrs old but not too young to talk about it, same time I cannot ignore about what I see and experience (current affairs)! Every country have their pros and cons. Yes, USA might have better offers then Canada. Hi, I’m a Canadian living in the USA. Pros and cons for each. For hard workers and entrepreneurs,you will undoubtedly have success- USA is where most of the big companies have started, and small businesses do well, too. Americans work very hard and not everyone is suited for that type of lifestyle. My second point may be a little controversial. As a retiree we have Medicare which covers major medical- hospital and doctors at a rate of 80%. The additional must be paired via private insurance that is optional or out of pocket. We have chosen a good supplemental policy that allows us to make our own referral to specialists- with a waiting period < 2 weeks. The point is that you can choose what you want. No waiting!I know that people in Canada who wait a year to see a doctor in a non emergency situation! You will say that it is expensive,but people choose not to prioritize medical care and instead purchase luxury items etc. what I like is the choice. I don’t want to not be able to see a specialist when I feel I need one!! I like \nChoice!

I lived in India because my parents did not have the money to send me abroad. I am supposed to travel to Canada in another 5days with a work permit offered from my current employer in India with a salary which is above average in Canada. As an experienced professional worked in Indian IT market for more than 7 years, I want the Indian students to know that if you are planning to work in core subjects like mechanical, civil, electrical or electronics, only then you should consider this difficult option. Otherwise in India, there is a massive shortage in the IT & Software market. With 5+ years of experience, with right skill you can earn 30-40LPA easily. So be careful before putting your life & your parents' only means of survival at risk.

Well everyone, the option is to go into a system like the United States has , which incidentally is far from perfect itself, my spouse was in emergency for five hours last Saturday night before anyone looked at her, , which the system will spiral in to a business and if you think you have problems now, just wait till what’s down in the future. As a Canadian who has lived in the United States the last seven years, our good family healthcare is $1270 US a month, which incidentally has a $1000 deductible and a 10% co-pay on everything we experience, and trust me an MRI scan ( yes , just a scan, not surgery) for your brain is costed out at $7000, so be prepared to pay your deductible and 10% of it along with all the other attending doctor charges, even with good healthcare at 1270U.S. a month ! That monthly healthcare premium is almost $1600 a month Canadian. Canadians complain about taxes being too high also, but that is my profession, and when you round out the two , there may be 2 to 3% adjusted for the exchange rate higher and you still get a lot greater bang for the buck. Also, your higher education in the United States is easily 2 to 3 times of what you’re paying for in Canada. I know it’s not optimal, however trust me you still have it good in Canada, I find so many immigrants complain about it when they come to Canada, Yet they are living in a relatively safe and secure country, just a little bit of appreciation would be nice. Is it always what I can get, how about maybe what you can give? Maybe the answer for everyone and candidates to start to pay to go see a doctor if you can have the doctors availability, that is the sad truth, and I’m quite sure people will not like that by any means when they see the charges. Trust me ,Canada is obviously far from perfect, but is overall still a pretty darn good country, for somebody that dislikes it so much, they need to go back to where they’re from, and compare, it might be a better option for them.

That's so funny and true at the same time. Sadly, I was born in the falsely advertised 'Best place on Earth, 'Canada' and therefore, cannot claim asylum in any other country, so I will pass away alone in hospice with 5 other dying strangers. Luckily, I moved away just in time through the UK ancestry scheme and live my dreams with my partner I met in a home we bought in a city where I don't have to look at the price tags as I know it's already 6x cheaper than Canada! However, there's a catch in that you can only go back as far as your grandparents to use the Ancestry Escape Pod, so if your grandparents were born in Canada I wish you all the luck and who knows, maybe you'll eventually merge with the USA and freedom and happiness is yours. Life is better on the outside. I moved 15yrs ago and never look back. I calculated a week to visit my siblings in Canada costs the same as 6 months worth of mortgage payments (my share).

I know new people to Canada they said rent is so high they want to go home and they make minimum wage and don’t get enough hours. Only good thing is no one wants those jobs so they’re easy to get.

I've been to Canada a couple of times to Hamilton (outside of Toronto) because my mom's childhood friend from Manchester, UK lives there and I went to the states for a few weeks to Florida, DC and NYC on a massive trip.\n\nWhat struck me is how fit Canadian women are compared to US women. I agree, I was born and raised here, unless you speak the language, have a good education, its puts you behind the 8 ball if you want to stay here. Why? Because the cost of living is too high, Why? Because our gov. let foreign powers come into out country and flip our real estate to make fast profits and that drives up the rents and costs of housing to the point that you cannot afford to live here, period. The only way that you can do it is to team up with other families and all live in the same place and slowly build up your education, job skills and income to a point where you can afford to live and get a place of your own, thats the way they did it in my parents time and it seemed to work, but when you have a gov. that all they can think about is their climate control BS and to raise the carbon taxes, interest rates causing inflation, causing prices to go up on everything it becomes a losing battle. So unless you are prepared to work two or three jobs, don't even think about it, because now its next to impossible to do unless you have someone supporting you on your climb to the top. In Canada we need health care workers and that could be nurses, doctors, health care aids, psw's, dsw's and physiotherapists, in some provinces they give free courses to get these jobs and you end up getting good wages like min. 25.00 per hour to start and all the hours you can handle, that means if you work 60 hours a week, you make 1500 a week, now that you can survive on, I know this for a fact because a friend of mine just went through the course and now she is set for life, that was a PSW course, its all up to you, if you want it bad enough, you can have it all. I would agree. Haven't been to the biggest cities in Canada but I lived in North Dakota and had family in Canada through marriage and visited them so I know that you wouldn't have to even lock your doors in the big cities

I think you ladies are way out in left field and you really don't know what you're talkin about. Unfortunately for some people it doesn't work out for whatever reason usually because they do not want to assimilate very well. I grew up in Ontario to a french-canadian father and an Italian mother in my life in Canada was so perfect said if I had to dream up a better life I could not have done so. I grew up playing all the sports and enjoyed all the different sports and the changes of seasons. My parents had a summer home on the st-lawrence river and every summer we water-ski swam fished, play golf in the morning and barbecues every night right on the water. Even though my grandfather was in the hotel business I was all about sports and enjoying everything about it. I grew up in a town of about 50 thousand about 40 miles from Montreal. When I wanted some great nightlife just drove a short drive to Montreal and it had everything did anyone could want in Nightlife. I have lived in United States for forty years and I can tell you that it really isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Heaven forbid should you get some kind of catastrophic illness you are screwed. I knew a woman who work for travelers insurance for 30 years at the best insurance a money could buy had suffered a couple of strokes and was on the verge of going broke had she not died when she died. People think that insurance continues to pay his long as you're ill and nothing could be further from the truth. This lady was going to have to sell her house to continue paying for round-the-clock care had she not died when she did. United States middle class is getting wiped out. I've seen enough poverty and hardship in this country to last a lifetime. I find greed to be running rampant in this country. When I grew up in Canada there was always the grass is greener on the other side and when I did move over to the other side the US that is I can tell you unequivocally the dead grass is not greener on the other side. There are more millions and millions of people here that are one or two paychecks away from being homeless. And we're talkin 2023. Now let's talk about violence. There is a mass murder in the United States every single day of the year. And a mass murder is defined by four or more people being killed by one person at one time. Killing these so out of control in the United States that now even six-year-olds are shooting their teacher. I find a tremendous amount of built-up Anger from people. Food is very expensive and shelter is also out of control and non affordable to most people. Again I find United States being able to paint a much Rosier picture then does really exist. And there are more con artists and thieves , Crooks, con-artists, bamboozlers, cheats and scammers then anywhere that I've ever been. And I will say this is it it ain't getting any better and I don't see it ever getting better. I find it is everybody out for themselves no matter who they cheat. I live in Southern California and I can tell you that night life where I live is non-existent. Understand that LA and Hollywood they always have to glamorize everything to sell it to tourists. Just remember that things today are not what they were 40 years ago. Middle-class people in Canada would also be just middle-class people in the US. But if your life means anything to you as far as safety and raising a family then Canada wins hands down end of discussion. People that say Canada is boring is because they are boring. That's what I found to be pretty standard across the board. Life is what you make of it. But I will say that you gals definitely need to move away if you don't like Canada. Do not let the door hit your ass on the way out. And just for your information Canada ranks annually as one of the top countries in the world to immigrate to. Canada is the second largest country in the world by land area and next to Saudi Arabia has the third largest oil Reserves in the world. Canada has huge amount of freshwater which most of the rest of the world seems to be lacking and having spent my Summers on the Saint Lawrence River one of the Great Rivers in this world. I wouldn't change my twenty years in Canada for anyplace else in this world and I will be moving back shortly.

I know it's not 100% safe in Canada. I've watched Murdoch Mysteries! ???\n\nYeah, when I moved to a city city, I saw the segregation. I grew up in a small town. I was friends with everyone. We didn't have a lot Indians and Africans though sadly. In school, with the exception of Asians, unless you're going by specific country, there was a token (poc) for each ethnicity in all the classes until roughly Junior high. So sad. We got rid of segregation in the south, but we didn't get rid of segregation in the country.

Canada got extremely cheap airlines if you've never heard of Flair. (Not an advert I just know of them) I seen flights from Halifax to Toronto for like 15 bucks.

Idk man, this seems less like a USA/Canada comparison and more a LA-NYC/Vancouver-Toronto comparison. (I know there were more generalities for each country, don't @ me) I been around both countries and they are a lot more alike than dissimilar. That being said, Canada is super chill

I’m a Brit who had just returned from a holiday in Mexico. My hotel TEAMING with Americans and Canadians and the difference between them both was IMMENSE! Now I’m not saying this about all Americans at all. Just the majority that were at my hotel. Man those people were rude. Rude, Arrogant, entitled, obnoxious and loud. The way they spoke to staff, other guests and locals was awful. No manners, clicking their fingers, cutting lines, being aggressive, blaming others for their lack of understanding. Men stomping around being rude about other peoples nationalities. Chanting and being very egotistical. I’ve never experienced anything like it.\nThe Canadians though. The absolute polar opposite. So polite, so kind, so respectful, so friendly. I spoke to so many about life and experiences and all were just lovely. Obviously I know that not all Americans are that way, nor are all Canadians lovely. The difference I saw in those 10days day was huge. I’d much rather go to Canada than America now.

No mention of the health care systems or pharmaceutical practices. We know Canada winning that shit.

Tap water at a reserve or small town in Canada not good either. I’m a city girl but u city boys not knowing how the rest of Canada lives.
