These are incredibly rare and are often skewed politically, largely for reasons I just explained but if an indigenous man assaults an Asian lady, it's less likely to be labeled a hate crime as, say a white male doing the exact same.\nNot so common here but in the US, there are numerous examples of blacks assaulting Asians and orthodox jews and the media will cleverly imply it's whites by saying white supremacy is on the rise, then give the stats on hate crimes, most of which were not committed by whites. Nice video, yet I find that you talk a lot about number differences with the USA and other countries and fail to explain how these differences are lived inside Canada. \n\nAfter lockdowns, I left the urban centres of the Quebec-Windsor corridor to settle in maritime Canada, and life here is very unique. \n\nFog, snow, rain, winds, ice, fires, every thing is very local. The closest chain restaurant like Tim Hortons is more than 1hour away by car. Anyday the roads can be closed, the ferries cancelled, isolating tens of thousands of people. Although most Canadians live in large urban centres, and don't have to deal with these issues, there is still a large population living in radically isolated areas.

Lived in us for 10 years and also Canada for 7. I can 100% say that life in Canada is a whole lot better then USA. Although pay is more in USA, it’s quickly eaten up by all the expenses and trust me when I say you will spend a ton. Your entire city you live in will most likely try to eat away as much of your wallet as you can. People and going outside is just better in Canada. Usa really really sucks apart from pay, especially for kids unless you live in an expensive city. People are Riddled with hate and it’s not safe for kids to play outside because something is def out to get them. Usually it’s a car or a criminal. One thing I’ve noticed is kids in USA end up doing drugs a whole lot more, because there’s not much for the kids to do. Kids can’t spend much and can’t travel far or at all, so they resort to drugs. With my hs done in highschool, a huge majority of the schools were doing one or another sort of drug. Also I’m back in Canada because life as a student is just a whole lot better then the snaky system of USA. Both suck in their own ways though, Canada a whole lot less, plan to move out to an eastern country anywya tjough.

Canada's economy is basically exporting resources, residential construction, the automobile industry, diploma mills for foreign students, and a small software/life sciences sector, plus the servicing of those sectors. With EVs a large part of the automobile sector (the plants that produce internal combustion engines and related car parts) will disappear and oil exports will shrink. At some point the housing boom will pop, and the construction sector will massively shrink, plus all the related banking, real estate etc. services. If we annoy China enough the diploma mills will also have a lot less customers.

Start being more discriminatory as a group yourselves. Don't seek these people out anymore in attempts to be friendly, fit in or whatever. Until they have proven themselves to be friend and not foe, Don't Engage. Stick up for yourselves. Be prepared with your own retorts in response to their racial slurs. Im 24 and been searching for a job for 1 year now. Not even 10 interviews. Im applying for EVERYTHING. Retail, production work, general labour, overnight work, housekeeping, cleaning / janitorial work, painting, customer service, call center, sales, factories..etc \nI'm applying in different cities and willing to take GO transit to work. \nI live near lots of big cities and somehow although they claim to be understaffed, they aren't hiring. \n \nI'd like to know the reason for this? There's nothing improving, homelessness is a MAJOR issue that is not being addressed but we are still taking in more people. These people are suffering and so many trying to get a job. \n \nI've contacted MANY agencies and they have had no jobs available FOR MONTHS \n \nCanada is only going to increase in homelessness. Theres been no improvement :(\n\nPeople suffering from homelessness and depression have been taking the euthanasia route because it feels like there's no hope or other option.

We need to fix us first … we went from the best country in the world to being in the top 10. ( not a fact , just my opinion).\n\nA lot of it starts with young kids having kids and not being there for them. Also the lack of discipline in the average family household. I swear a lot of the kids have no idea what consequences are.

Racism happens to a lot of races here in Canada and around the world and I think will always be the case. My mom came from the Philippines and worked two jobs back to back for 17 years and was bullied so badly by East Indians because they ran her work place but she had to stay strong and deal with that among other things while growing up but is still grateful to Canada until this day. My ex girlfriend of many years was Congolese but grew up in Kenya and yes I felt racism on her part when we were together and it was frustrating and sad but again it came from all races not just white people. She is still grateful for Canada and always stayed strong and didn’t let these idiotic attitudes tear her down. Hopefully things will change in the world but the state it is in right now doesn’t seem to be the case.

At the end of the day I think Canada and the US share a lot of common ground in a lot of areas. \nThe major difference in my eyes between Canada and the US is the competitiveness of each economy. The US is far more competitive and innovative than Canada. Canadians are more risk averse and seem to want to work for the government or a big company whereas Americans are more confident in themselves and would prefer to work for themselves and try to start a business for themselves - and importantly - want to have it become a large business. \nAs a Canadian I wish I would have moved down to the States and tried it out when I was younger. I'm too old to move there now... \nCanada still isn't a bad place but it is nowhere near as prosperous for the average person, or I should say the average worker, as it used to be. And Canada's economy seems to be deteriorating rapidly and being usurped by newly developing countries whereas the economic future of the US seems brighter due to the powerful innovation in the US. However the social situation in the US seems to be deteriorating more so than in Canada.

I assume that there are no homeless people in the US or France...How many thousands and thousands die from drugs in the US and other countries in the world.Yes,the governments should do better and find/build special housing for these people.They should set up special\nclinics in order to detoxify these drug addicts.The problem is that people don't want to have these clinics in their neighbourhood because they are afraid of fights,their houses will go down\nin value and so on.I saw a documentary about the homeless people and I was surprised and not surprised about what they are saying.There is what they call the Old House Brewery in\nMontreal and there are about 50 beds (or more) and the homeless people can sleep,eat and shower.There are a lots of then who refuse to go to this place,some say that so people were\nmaking noises at night and they prefer to sleep under bridges ..Homeless people are everywhere in the world.DON'T FORGET THAT IT 'S ALSO THE JOB OF THE PROVINCES TO FIND\nSHELTERS FOR THESE PEOPLE...

This is just sad. We hardly make it day to day, and a lot of people take advantage of the government. It's annoying that we pay taxes while others get free housing and help, and we can't.

Venezuela is an extreme socialist problem. They control all prices and hijack the concept of healthy business functions. This causes essential goods like water, food, and toilet paper, even fruits, are totally barren from stores. Socialism there is a nightmare and no one is living life their with decency. Read about it before you judge these people. Try to visit these countries or learn from someone who came from there before you form a solid opinion of politics folks They don’t have the ability to use much of their “freedom” to “fix” things against a rigged system already (some commenters say they need to go back and fix their countries- lots of issues with this). Read up on how South American governments make it almost impossible for their own people to make decent money. Americans are very privileged and that is an understatement. The problem is with these terrible governments and even law enforcement who often get bribed by criminals and many dirty cops in some countries down there. My husband is from South America, and we know Cubans, Brazilians, and Venezuelans who beg America to stay capitalist. That’s why America needs to stay American, and refrain from trying to be socialist.
