There's no free healthcare back home so I move to Canada to get my treatment. I wish there's free healthcare back home. What the hell I'm I doing in Canada. Are you expecting magic just because you moved to a white man country? Be for real. You have to work hard and establish yourself and as time goes by, things will get better and easier. When my grandparents came here to the United States to make a better life for them and their children, some of them born in Mexico but most of them were born here in the United States! My grandparents worked bought their home here in America never sent any money to Mexico to a bank to save when they were ready to retire. They stayed here in the United States they lived and they died here! They kept their money here because they moved here and they stayed here! My grandfather did not build a home in Mexico, he didn't save money to move back to Mexico! Because he loved the United States and wanted to escape the Injustice and the property in Mexico.

According to the healthcare field, my wife has a Bachelor of Science Degree and has more than four years of experience in government hospitals in our country. But when we came here to Canada, we have to get assessment exams and Canadian experience to practice as a healthcare professionals. Most healthcare professionals work as a cashier or drive Uber. Officials sleep in their cabins without doing anything and people are waiting to get their doctor's appointments for months. \nWow, what kind of system is this?

As my father was an American citizen, I thought it would be easy for me to settle there, to earn my living there as a career French teacher, given that the article in question mentioning openings in this domain. I went there to assess the situation. I had a few fruitless interviews with schools looking for a French teacher, because in Texas, the education system is denominational, and I am a non-practicing Christian.\n\nMoreover, the reception of the hotel where I was staying forbade me to go out at night if I wanted to return home safe and alive. Indeed, the article did not mention the high crime rate in Houston and that many people were armed. In fact, posters on public transport warned passengers to hide their weapons in plain sight. This was enough to convince me that I had to stay in Canada, even if the country is not perfect.

The core problem with Canada is not its economy but its people. Since Canada has opened its immigration doors to the poorest and most miserable countries of the Third World living conditions have not just deteriorated but have become intolerable as crime, transportation, equal opportunity employment and civil service has been transferred into the hands of these recent migrants. People with low incomes simply can't even afford a place to live and must share their living space with people who have no sense of hygiene, ethics and posses alien foreign values. The only migrants willing to remain in Canada are those from the poorest corners of the world where they face starvations, destitute poverty, disease and social banishment if they return. Migrants who come from Europe or other developed nations discover Canada to be so repugnant that they simply return from where they came. People can survive with poverty as long as they are comfortable with their environment, in Canada living with poverty has become a nerve wreaking daily struggle for survival in a hostile alien environment.

Why does everyone think America is so much better off!!!! If they came they would all be in a worse situation then there things are way more expensive here

As a Canadian born with immigrant parents, nearly everytime I ask one of my international student friends why they came to Canada instead of the USA, they tell me it's because its way easier to get into Canada ?

The only reason I can think of any Canadian wanting to move to the States is for a warm winter. Many do for 6 months at a time, but have to stop at some point because the insurance becomes too expensive. Our culture in Canada is very different. I worked with a man from Tennessee who went back there for his family once his kids were grown. He came back 4 years later wanting a job, couldn't take the crime

The couple’s perception is completely wrong about Sydney. They are misguiding people in so many aspects. From what I see here , they took a chance and came to Australia without understanding much about the process and when they failed they blame the system. US immigration system is broken but it's still the best in western world if you are in engineering, mathematics and tech. I studied and worked in US, moved to India for personal reasons. I realized its difficult to adjust back in India, and US will never let me naturalize, so I moved to Canada. But Canada has hardly any jobs of its own, most of people in tech here work for American companies. In US, even an aerospace, biomedical, virology or genetic engineering person can find job in his/her field despite being on job visa, but in Canada its very tough. \nFew weeks back, I met an Uber driver who came to Canada 4+ years back, mechanical/automative engineer and was not able to find a job in his field despite no need for license with advance education and many years of relevant experience. He became Canadian citizen few weeks back, and guess what, he received 2 job offers in US and was moving to US on TN visa. \nI am myself working on something in Canada that is not my specialization. In US, I can get multiple messages from top government contractors for scientist/researcher positions, but I could not work for them as I don't have citizenship. In canada, despite being a PR, I know many experienced people who are forced to drive uber or do survival jobs.
