I hate that at my work that we have a 5 foot rule; if a customer is within sight in 5 feet of you, you are to ask them if they need help with anything. Whether or not we suspect them of stealing. We don't discriminate racially, we do this with every person who walks into the store. Which is ridiculous because our store is very small and we have anywhere between 3 and 6 employees on the floor at any given time. So, inevitably, every customer is offered help many many times in their visit. I am always worried that a person of colour will think I'm profiling them, when I'm really not. I genuinely just want to know if they're finding everything they need or have any questions. If we were to racially profile based on the people who have stolen from us in the past, we'd be going after every white person who walks in the store. In my 3 years working there we have had only white people steal from us. So sick of the race issue, we're all humans. The amount of melanin in our skin should not matter.

Canada has done extremely well for Immigrants, and we spend a lot of money on making sure we get hard working decent citizens.. We've recently made it easier for people to immigrate here. If it'd really be the faith of peace and concord nobody looked them as jeopardy but because of it's positioning itself as something exceptional and worthy of only existence it reality takes a drawback in the way of Islam's being peacefully accepted like another new religious paths were accepted. It took my parents years to get a visa to leave Nigeria and come here, Canada is not some paradise, it's a country chances are if you can't get legal citizenship in the states, you'd be VERY lucky to get it Canada. I am emigrating to Canada as a permanent resident and I'd like to weigh in. You have to have $12,200 before you can arrive, you don't get government funded healthcare for 3 months or other benefits. I agree with this policy

If I was South America I’d stay in my country, work & have as best a life as I could with what’s there. The American dream isn’t for non Americans to dream about or let alone Canada. Every country has its own issues you just need to deal with it, it’s better than running away to another place where your not wanted

America has free healthcare basically, it's called Medicaid, I wouldn't say I'm poor at all, which is what people think you have to be to qualify. I'd say normal middle class, husband works in a factory making decent money and we qualify for it, but yes healthcare is ridiculous, even Medicaid doesn't cover everything.

The best thing would be the ability to instantly change skin tone: pale skin on cloudy/winter days for faster Vit. D uptake, then deep black on hot days for UV protection. it's not the religion.... it's the mac's convenience and the corner stores selling tropicana juice for 6 bucks a liter. Children born with eg, rickets because their mothers wore  the veil should sue them! It may be a throwback to cultures in hot and sunny climates but should be banned in the UK, like France. Why should citizens pay for medical care for children/adults directly affected by this shortcoming when it van be avoided? There is a Swedish study that also implies a reduced IQ in children born to mothers who are never exposed to sunlight.....

People tend to associate and trust people with which they are familiar and if you were white and born in a white town, you'll naturally defer to white people. If you were born into a black family in a predominantly white area, however, you'll have strong familiarity with both white and black. If you asked a black person born into a black town, I'd venture to guess they would also show preference for the black faces.
