When I first moved to San Diego I would go to Mexico I love going but over time it got unsafe back in 1985 I wish the borders we're made secure then. We are seeing this right now because the entire world knows that our borders are wide open and everyone is welcome. We've become the laughing stock of the planet for more than one reason... The people coming in know that they aren't going to get shot so why not try? Worst case scenario they'll just get sent home. My heart tells me that everyone deserves a chance for a better life in our country but my brain tells me we are full up folks! The funny things is that Republicans have been telling people that the borders are open and to come to the usa. Not doing a complete immigration reform is responsible for this. We can protect our country and have proper immigration policies at the same time that are not lengthy for years. Our government has done nothing but empower human trafficking and coyotes. Anyone who is criticizing these immigrants from wanting to come to America should ask them selves where did your grandparents or great grandparents come from? What situations were they in that they needed to flee from? Nobody wants to leave their home country. They’re desperate to do so because of war and crime. There is enough for everyone to be here.
