My work which is at a hotel just got a bunch of Puerto rican immigrants who are working and living at the hotel for free and they get paid and they treat all the other workers with disrespect and leave everything a mess and break rules constantly and can’t even talk to the managers and we’re all trying to be as understanding as we can be because I honestly can’t imagine going through immigration like that but still there’s no rules for them and meanwhile us other workers who are American and don’t get paid as much and don’t have the amenities that they do it’s just kind of a ridiculous situation in my opinion. There’s no structure or organization with it and it doesn’t make sense that we’re illegally transporting immigrants all over the us and giving them the free pass for most all things without even going through the legalization process. Like I can completely understand immigration and see nothing wrong with it when it’s done legally, but I don’t understand why we’re disregarding the people already in the long process of legally immigrating. I might just be very ignorant in the issue but that’s my personal take on the issue. It doesn’t make sense to me. I will say I have absolutely nothing against any person who’s an immigrant but just the rules and regulations surrounding the situation. I don’t mean to step on anyone’s toes or offend anyone.

I counted eight people running out of the vehicle and not one gave two shits to check on me, even though I was injured. Seven of them got away the only one they caught was a 14 year old Honduran child that claimed amnesty. So vehicle which they stole, which had stolen license plate, and apparently was full of stolen tools all was seized. The owners will be lucky if they get anything back since it is being held as evidence. I was told by My Attorney chances are my insurance will not pay me in full for my vehicle. Also, I only have a few payments on my car left, and I’m forced to pay it even though now I have no vehicle to get to work, because all my equity is tied up in it, funny thing is I recognize this kid from one of the jobsites down the street. They literally beat me in a bid on. Mind you only buy $400 differences I’m having to pay taxes it’s a joke when you say these people take jobs and no one else wants thing is it’s not jobs no one else wants it’s jobs that have become jobs. No one wants because of the pay continues to fall prices continue to increase, everyone thinks he’s illegal immigrants make no money on these jobsites most of them have nicer vehicles and live in nicer places than the guys I know. The Democrats who are used to vote for because I thought they were for the workingman have completely switched. Their allegiance is to the large corporations that just want to drive down competition and raise their profit margins. They don’t care about America. They want a global economic system in which we have to compete with people that are willing to do the same work as us for a little less because they don’t have to pay what we have to pay and they go back to their countries and live like kings where our dollar buys a lot. They literally use their influence and corruption to take down Trump‘s administration because he was actually doing something about America’s problems. What a damn shame it’s time to change the system. If you’re not voting for a Bernie Sanders or Trump you might as well not voted off because you will get no change. There is hardly any upward mobility in blue collar jobs, ever more so in the labor market. If they are not making $40K/year (assuming the majority has not a college degree in something marketable, advanced skills, a tradesman or artisan) then they’re struggling like everyone else in the service industry. Jobs for teenagers, entry level workers, part time jobseekers like for students, people needing extra income cause it’s so expensive in CA, NY, Austin, TX, Chicago or SF living off work entry-level service jobs. Technology has created a shortage or labor gap between unskilled jobs. Jobs that Americans need while pursuing training or technical degrees for the new skilled jobs. \n\nImmigrants do not need to fit the stereotypes of working in the service industry or as farm workers. American citizens can fill these labor positions quite easily. No, immigrants, work visa or not, do not work any harder, smarter, slower or faster than anyone else wanting to work. If someone is motivated to work an unskilled labor job then they will be just as effective as the next person. The HR for these companies definitely virtue signal and satisfy diversity quotas every time they hire someone due to their work status or ethnicity. Everyone and anyone can be replaced and so the question is, who do you, as an employer, want to replace the job vacancy with? Gonna hire cause they are a good fit or because your helping some politicians cause? Gonna grant asylum cause their lives are in danger from a government firing squad or because Biden/Harris will pat you on the back? \n\nThere is reason to illegally enter this country and it is disrespectful, disgraceful, dishonorable, dishonest and disheartening to the ones who are here legally by going through the process like everyone else paying time and money. I’m Lebanese , i applied for work permit 1.5 year ago, got approved a month ago and got my visa 2 weeks ago( for Edmonton, Alberta). My hourly wage is 16.46$ before tax. I’ve calculated my cost of living ( rent, food, transportation, etc.. ) It was acceptable back then . When i applied earlier , it was my dream to come to canada. I’ve struggled a lot to get the visa and I’ve booked a flight that was supposed to be next week , but honestly things have differ from when I’ve applied. I used to see affordable housing and cost of living, not anymore. Things have changed there, from cost to living to rents to increased crime rate ( it’s even higher and more tragical than Lebanon itself in his worst current situation) and so on and so forth. I’ve literally canceled everything and I’m not even regretting my decision.\n\nWorking on a slight above minimum wage, in a weather that’s -20+ for long months just to be in ‘CANADA’ and live from paycheck to paycheck isn’t going to seduce me honestly.

There is a huge backlog on legal applications for a lots of immigrants who applied legally, families torn apart and have long weight. They are already in the USA, there are sanctuary cities, New York was just dumping them off there. We tax payers are flipping the bills for them while so many Canadians are living on the streets. Those who are mad and outrage by this, you can go ahead and sponsor them, that mean you are legally responsible for all their expenses. As Canadians, even when we cross the border we got to have our passport and we go through a lots of scrutiny. As someone from Asia who lives with a comfortable life I guess I’m privileged enough than most people who live on the other part of the world. But still, I can never understand why people force themselves illegally. They can just go through legal process, I’m sure there are other ways. This will never happen here in our part of the world. Why do people want to migrate so badly? Why not just visit the other country for a while and go home? Embrace your culture. It's better to live in your own land surrounded by your family and friends then to be a stranger in a foreign land.

CNN news is a joke. The problem with migrants crossing into Canada is not as bad of a problem as the migrants crossing in from Mexico. Why won’t you go do news on that instead and actually tell the truth. I’m sick of living one thing and cnn reporting another.
