When is enough enough? I pay taxes and now our state is cutting back on services to pay for illegal migrants . Local agencies are being told to cut back, ran out of space to house illegal migrants but administration is still looking for more space......... When is enough enough? Maybe we should start allocating resources to find out WHY. BILLIONS to send probes into space but basically squat to prevent our boarder agents from being overwhelmed. \n\nDoes any of this make sense. I dislike tRump with a passion, he is a CANCER to this country but he would not let this happen. He'd send the military down there and wouldn't give a flying you know what anyone has to say.

Need more jobs, lesser rent/lower inflation/removal of businesses not following labor laws/proper housing/homeless housing and job directories. I dont think keeping out immigrants will really improve anything, America has always been a melting pot of sorts and was ultimately built by immigrants and still relies on their affordability of labor cost. Americans are racist and afraid that theyll be knocked off the ladder by someone that will probably outwork them, then unable to afford homing, and unable to find a job themselves. They dont want to be in Mexicos shoes, Venezuela specifically, as shown here. US population has been around 54% working; while 76% from Mexico. A wall wasnt going to fix the situation, never was -- it was a bit silly dont you think? There shouldve been more put into expanding border patrol, they obviously handle it better. And claiming aslyum has backfired: theyre over-full, lack funding, and no one can remove them because it has become a neccesarity now.\nI dont think they should be denied a potentially better way of life but this wasnt as much an option as they had hoped it be.

I really don't understand this. The US is an ultra-capitalistic country, where literally only the very rich can have decent lives, while everybody else struggles and is genuinely unhappy. What are those people expecting to find over there except for catastrophic levels of homelessness, drug-abuse, living paycheck to paycheck and never making it anywhere and crime rates, that are far above average, even though nowhere as bad as in Mexico?

America is not in the position to take in mass amounts of people. We are struggling with a homeless crisis as well as a work shortage and extremely high rental prices. Many Americans are losing their homes, their jobs, and can’t afford to put food on the table. America itself has fallen far from its former glory. Even for people who have been here their whole lives we are finding it hard to just live.

even if you cross the border, you're just gonna be sent back unfortunately unless you go through the legal process. they always have a way of finding out.

Why come to place where most people don't want you here? Why come to a place that itself is in turmoil? What do you hope to find here? This doesn't move me with sympathy, it moves anger in me. My family and I were homeless in the U.S. all because I decided to further my education with a school who claimed to be accredited and all this stuff but quickly found out it all was a sham....so in not securing my deposit on a new place or being financially able to fight an eviction were the property basically got paid twice for bs they didn't handle...all because the irs took my income tax which I was depending on being I just started a new job and had 3 weeks before my first paycheck...we were on the street....everywhere I turned was a wait-list and no one I mean no entity would help us..... claiming lack of funding or some proof of homelessness other than papers proving your eviction....just so many ridiculous things....it took us a while to get off the streets and this is kids born on this soil....with a citizen who never been in trouble with the law, 3.8 gpa, educated and motivated and employed.....on the street and although now we have a roof as U.S. CITIZENS still struggling to find our footing....and STILL NO HELP...NOT A FOOD STAMP NOTHING and the lights are out due to the landlord....soooo I'm not sympathetic of these people....I struggled and still struggling in MY OWN COUNTRY WITH NO HELP FROM MY COUNTRY....GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM AND FIGURE IT OUT.....

The last few mass shootings have all been immigrants .. There were 18.5 million homes built during this period, whereas the homes built between 2016 and 2019 were less than six million. Rough estimates 158 million Homes. At least our banks in Australia don’t go broke like in US . Since the Covid lock downs a lot of people are homeless all around the world . I live in Sydney and I could not care less if we are isolated . We still can visit New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and South East Asia . I rather live in Australia than overseas because my relatives in the UK , and Cyprus didn’t care to spend time with me when I visited there . Their attitudes are not laid back . Anyway there are international students who find work here in Australia . We have heaps of lovely places in Australia to visit . There are amazing places in Western Australia and the rest of Australia to see . I agree Canada is amazing as I have been there but it doesn’t mean Australia is a dump like you are saying . I am sorry that you had a bad experience here but it doesn’t mean Australia is a horrible country to live in . There is beauty in our deserts thank you .

We can’t find housing cause a estimated 50,000 people A WEEK MAKE IT OVER THE SOUTHERN BORDER ! I'm a Canadian living in the UK now. I love Canada with every piece of my heart but couldn't see myself ever being anything other than working poor there. I went to college but couldn't get a job in my field so had to take whatever minimum wage I could get, couldn't afford rent let alone buying a property so moved in with my parents and there isn't any support from the government for average citizens, only if you're an immigrant, disabled etc. I'm not against helping immigrants, disabled people or those that need it, just sucks that if you don't fall into certain categories it means you'll always struggle in your minimum wage job.\nLife in the UK isn't perfect but I was able to find a decent job here, the public transit is actually usable, phone plans and other bills/groceries tend to be cheaper and the working conditions are significantly better. Like I get 32 paid days off a year in my average job which is just wild to me! In Canada my sister who is a police officer only gets 15 days off a year and that's a lot compared to other people, like I never use to get any paid time off at my previous jobs. I miss parts of living in Canada but for the time being the UK is making my life a lot easier.
