Some people like to claim that 'we are one' but do we understand that we all come from different backgrounds. The best thing I could think of is let immigrants in only if and only as long as they contribute to your country's economy. Unnecessary favors will not do any good to Canada.

In general: All people are biased, in some form and magnitude. This is something built into our DNA, from millions of years of evolution and experience, of meeting, living and/or engaging whit other people. The human brain, central nervous- and hormonal system have changed very little in the latest 20.000 years. The only thing we can do are learn or at least not act on our biased thoughts. On top of this, we have events in our lives, what we have learned from family, friends and people in our closest environment, political views/trends, our environment in general and personality treats which affects us all. What we can do to minimize this is first admitting to our selves what biases we harbour, and not act to the biases. \nThe thing is, we are all alike, but live, learn and/or act differently. We can treat people as we want to be treated ourselves and treat ourselves with the same principle we treat others.\n\n\nBe nice, treat people with the same respect as you demand.

My problem with women covering their faces is that that men are not allowed by law to cover their faces, so why would a certain group of women have this right. Women SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN A HIGHER STATUS because we should be EQUAL to men. People easily use freedom of choice as an argument to defend every single thing they do. I WISH, I WISH, I WISH they would advocate for freedom of choice in their country of origin. I wish they would fight for human rights the way they do when they come to the Western World. And saying that covering your face doesn't define you is complete bulls*** because when we ask you to take it off suddenly it becomes who you are as a person. As a Canadian Christian woman of Lebanese origin (second-generation immigrant), I love everyone... jews, muslims, hindus, ... you name it. But what I don't like is HYPOCRITES.

You need to take control back of your country. Crap like this is exactly why we elected Trump and will do so again in 2020. With over 350 million people, the last thing we need is 10 million more from outside! Look at the reports of stabbing deaths in the UK and look at who is doing it. Wake up before it touches your family personally.

We need to have a little bit of compassion for Muslims who are struggling with this. Imagine that you were born into Islam. You didn't ask for it. You just happened to be unlucky enough to be born into a Muslim country and raised under it. It's not their fault that they believe what they believe. \nWe need to help them to free them from the chains of Islam. The way to help them and free them from Islam is by educating them with the truth. It's difficult for them to accept because they have devoted their entire life to it. It's also quite a shock when they see all of the errors in the Quran which is supposed to be the pure word of an all-powerful and all-knowing God. Then they see things like- the sun revolves around the earth and sets in a pool of muddy water. It's like somebody telling you that your dear friend has been lying to you for the last 50 years of your life. You just can't believe it. You don't want to believe. You defend your friend, you love your friend. \n\nSo instead of insulting these poor Muslim people try helping them by suggesting that they read the Koran cover to cover from beginning to end. Then they will see for themselves that this 7th century book conflicts with modern scientific and historical knowledge. That's when they will realize that Muhammad invented the entire thing so that people would obey him and treat him like a god on Earth. That's when they will realize that he was a 7th century man who knew nothing about the scientific knowledge that we have now in this century. That's when they will realize that the Quran is filled with threats of punishment and violence for not believing and not obeying the supposed word of God given to them by Muhammad. Muhammad put harsh punishments in it so that they would submit out of fear. This is why Islam is so violent. \n\nTo our Muslim friends in humanity. I'm so sorry that you were lied to. So sorry that you wasted much of your life devoting it to Islam. I'm so grateful to those of you who have not followed the violence of Islam commanded in the Quran. But now you are free with the truth. Go and live your life in Peace and freedom. Love your fellow humans and help your fellow humans. Try to spread the truth to other Muslims and help them. Follow the example of apostate prophet who is trying to help Muslims with his you tube videos.\n I urge all Muslims to read the entire Quran. Don't let non-muslims like me know more about the Quran than you do. If you don't think that the scientific facts conflict with the Koran, then read the entire Quran and look up the scientific facts. Personally, I have the upmost respect towards the percentage of people who practice their religion’s peacefully and with peaceful intent. However, I have absolutely no respect towards the percentage of people who practice their religion’s violently and with violent intent. Instead, I feel disappointment towards the percentage of people who practice their religion’s violently. They have put themselves into a position of being easy targets for manipulation. Through manipulation they are being misguided and eventually radicalized.\nWhich is twisting their perspective upon reality causing them to say and do things that they normally would not say or do.\nPersonally, that is why I generally never became interested in religion.

Funny thing is the Sikh gurus were butchered by fanatic Mughal Muslims Kings. It’s a double standard, and they play victim when it suits them. Islam itself is very intolerant as a religion. That politician is correct but the white man needs to educate himself on Sikhs their history and culture. Sikhs don’t judge they defend anyone they feel that are being persecuted including the people who share a religion with their oppressors. That’s their strength but that is their weakness as well.

Racism has always been in Canada, dont be fooled. It may not be as prevalent as in other countries but racism is in fact here in Canada, I grew up here, Im a black born Canadian and dealt with it all my life. I realize that some people are asses....that will never end. But the term racism is thrown around way too much. First of all, it’s tribalism and it’s a normal part of being human. Wow! A undercover security person for Walmart did the same thing to me...racially profiled me! Claimed he saw me put something in my purse, just lying! I wish I had known I could sue them. I am an old bearded Caucasian with a cane who often shops at a Korean market in my area in downtown Vancouver. At one point they had a black security officer who would consistently follow me anytime I entered the store. I finally reached a point where I jokingly confronted him and told him if he insisted on following me I was going to get him to help me by carrying things. He never followed me again but we would always smile at each other and laugh when I came to shop. I believe his attitude was based on my appearance and perceived economic status rather then race.\nHaving said this I have also gone shopping at other Asian markets with my children, who are half Chinese, and been followed by the Caucasian security people while my kids were not.

I live in Jamaica, this is a black country. I get followed in our supermarkets, for this reason I dont go to supermarkets anymore, I allow my wife to go.\n\n\nI dont go anymore because I get offended.
