The biggest problem is Americans TV shows and politicians only show the fake side of America ( everyone live in a big house) and promote to the world that if you come to America, you will be rich.\nThe government needs to help American people first, before get involved other countries business and pretend to be the big brother, keep sending the money we can’t afford.

Asylum seeking is legal and in our laws. These folks have walked from Venezuela to escape dire conditions and a corrupt government. I'm going to start with my bedroom wall. And work my way up the ladder. I say no to all walls. Even the ones in swimming pools. I say if your a red blooded patriotic American you need to start planning a trip to the border to tear down that exist racist wall that is keeping those south Americans, Chinese, Russian, and Romanian refugees from coming here with ease. The cartel may not be happy with this but we need to make sure that every person from any country no matter what the situation can freely cross any border at any time. It only makes sense.

Why come to place where most people don't want you here? Why come to a place that itself is in turmoil? What do you hope to find here? Especially when you are here illegally and constantly have to fear normal society so you aren't deported. I just don't get it. Ive been working my ass off to pay for my documents for legality, paid taxes yearly and just comply to whatever is needed for immigration. Now im a US citizen. And this people just think they can just walked in without legal papers pisses me off. Come on people we all have different struggles in life, but we have to do the right thing! Even if youre inside the US you cannot have a decent job and no company is gonna accept you if you dont have legal papers. Therefore you cannot open a bank account and you cannot build your credit and get a place to stay. Theres too many homeless here already. Just do the right thing! The govt cannot save you all.

This is really tragic, but it doesn't seem like anyone is asking what can be done in Mexico, or Venezuela or Guatemala, or wherever, to help create an environment where people can be safe and have real economic opportunity there? This is not good. There is a reason these people are risking life and limb to flee their home countries trying to come to the US.

These people need to have a civil war in their own countries to free themselves from tyrants just like Americans did. Stop thinking that coming to this country will give you a better life. Start thinking, We need to sacrifice for our children and generations after us in our own country. It’s simple and it works. Many people need to sacrifice themselves to better their families. It’s a shame not many are willing to accept it and actually do it.

I took a migrant into my home to try and help, but there are just so many people coming into the northern US alone that all hotels are full and there is absolutely no housing left. This can't go on at this pace.

I wonder how much of this could be resolved if we decided to pull back senseless embargoes that aren’t achieving policy objectives. I have interviewed hundreds of these people, my first question is “why do you want to come to America?” Their first response is always the same… money. Hardly any of them answer “to work hard” don’t be fooled. Humans are all the same. America to them is a place you can travel to get a brand new nice hotel room unlimited food, internet, clothes and spending money. Imo these people are the exact same mindsets as those who join BLM riots and raid Walmarts.
