The difference is the quality of life in Canada is ranked by multiple organizations as significantly better than in the US. Better Education, Public Healthcare, and a strong economy mean less stress. Health Insurance in the US is hugely expensive. Incomes may be higher in the US, but so are things like the Health insurance, prescriptions etc. Canada has fewer bankruptcies if someone gets sick, and better social benefits for things like maternity leave... We don't have the huge population, but we also don't have many of the huge problems, like large racial conflicts, high crime rates, gun violence and economic discrepancies... And let's not even mention the vast political polarization in the US fed by disinformation and a free-for all social network where 'truth' long ago became not important, whereas winning is everything. Even if a former president needs to organize an attack on Congress... Overall Canada is a more desirable place to live.

Canada is well represented around the world. But you don't really know someone until you live with them. This country basically shuts down for at least 4 months a year during the winter. Sure people still do stuff but any Canadian can agree that winter, compared to the other seasons is night and day. \n\nIt sells itself well in real estate especially with foreign investors but deep down nobody really wants to live here Jan-April. \n\nPersonally I moved to the states cause I'm in a field that presented better opportunities, better pay, better quality of life year round, cheaper life in general without huge taxes.\n\nThat's the trade off, either work more and not deal with winters or deal with winter and get some support for not working as much.

In these kind of comparaisons, it's always important to keep in mind that Canada has 10 provinces and 3 territories. Each province and territory have their own way of doing things. So it's pretty much like 13 countries into 1. One thing in Ontario is not gonna be the same as in BC for example. So, whatever someone experiences in Ontario will not be the same elsewhere. Like taxes for example, it's different from 1 province to another. So, it's best for someone who wants to move to Canada to do their research on each province because they do things differently from one another. \n\nAlso in terms of traveling to countries that are closer, yes the UK gets a point because all the other European countries are closer. But in Canada, when you leave a province for another one it sometimes feels like you left for another country ? . Besides the US and Mexico, Canadian also go to Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Brasil, Argentina, Turks and Caicos(lots of Canadian go there that at one point the island was even considering becoming the 11th province of Canada ?) .\n\nIn terms of diversity, it's not that much different from the UK. All the big cities are very diverse, just like the UK. Also, Toronto is the most diverse city in the world.

Having dated someone from Venezuela who migrated to Columbia and was violent, nah sorry, take your trash man and swap him for a respectful one lol I helped how I could even if he came on a visa just to be betrayed by him. I’m getting more guns ??‍♀️ \n\nTell your Govenrment to fix their corruption and don’t bring that shit to the US especially when nations are breaking agreements with us and making the US dollar lose strength. So no, I’m sorry but handle your shit and stop acting like wild animals. \n\nI personally do not want this Venezuelan/ columbian here. I’ll be more than happy to shoot him or swap him for an obedient, respectful family.

The Canadian Dream is having someone else pay your mortgage with their rent.

Canadas biggest problem is it’s run by someone who has no clue & no business being in the pms office. He’s a disgrace & a traitor to the country. I truly believe he is destroying Canada on purpose, no one could be that incompetent.

In the 1980 that’s was the prone to follow someone in a store for marketing purposes but now there is no need to follow someone when there are multiple cameras in the stores.

You can stop it, you can’t let people over run the border, you might have to reach out and touch someone and I guarantee they will back up!

Looks just like when white people first came here. Imagine stealing land from someone and then telling them they can't come back. Yahuah is going to have a FIELD DAY JUDGING THIS THIS OL' GODLESS COUNTRY!!! America is going to fall like none other because of the bloodshed, blasphemy, crimes against humanity, hypocrisy, and wrongdoings against Yahuah's people!

it's funny I moved to Canada a little over a year ago and I want to move back to Australia for some of the reasons you want to leave Australia and more. Housing affordability here is a pipe dream unless you like living near mountains and want a laid back life like the life in Perth, in Calgary. But Calgary's job market is not great and that pretty much extends to every province except Ontario and BC. Living cost in Canada is very high... compared to what I experienced in AU, this is more expensive than living in Sydney. (I live in Toronto but this extends to Vancouver as well.) The healthcare system is weak, inefficient and inconvenient. Bureaucracy is again very slow, inconvenient and in some cases so backwards. Banking is not great, super inconvenient, not people-centric, inefficient and very much backward imo.. work-life balance or quality of life is way better in AU. Infrastructure development is slow and not great at all for a world-class country and personally, I expected better from Toronto.. (I do understand why it is the way it is right now, some justified reasons but some not so much) Things I do give props to CA... Diversity and inclusiveness is not just marketing slogan like in AU.. I don't feel like an outsider here... Its incredible. Job market is here much better than in AU. If you're moving from a country like AU, you will feel how capitalism here is made to make more money out of you every step of the way. But also, you will see how you can use that system to make alot of money. I think Canada is a great place to live if you're an entrepreneur or business person and making money is a primary requirement. But if you're someone who loves quality of life and work-life balance and want to probably own a good house, right now CA is not there. Also this doesn't mean CA isn't great, its fantastic... but compared to AU, canada comes short in many fronts. Also I love the weather here even if we have a pretty long winter.

After watching this video if you think that what is going on in Canada is not crazy, then take note of the fact that Trudeau government is also making it even harder for gas and oil companies, mineral extraction and even farmers to basically do their job. While Norway, Arab countries and even US are ramping oil and gas production, in Canada Trudeau is concerned more about increasing carbon tax and the rainbow flags. Honestly I'm very disappointed in this country, it's becoming worse and worse here. Prices are through the roof, housing is insanely expensive, even car prices are higher than in USA. Many people have to maintain 2 or even 3 jobs just to survive. And if you are a recent graduate or an immigrant professional, good luck finding a good job. You probably will end up in a minimum wage job that barely allows you to rent a room in someone's basement, pay for your most expensive in the world cell phone plan, expensive cars.... and wait 6 months to go see a medical specialist. If you're thinking of immigrating to Canada, better consider Europe, USA or developed countries in Asia. I was lucky because I bought property back in 2016. Now it appreciated so much that I'll probably sell and move to a different country. Hard times are ahead for Canadians, Canada is gonna become Cuba #2 very soon

I’ve never been to Canada but it seems like a cool place with everyone intermingling. When I meet someone from a different background, the first thing I wanna know is what their soul food is. Probably cuz I’m greedy. ??‍♀️???

I want to now go to Venezuela to see what is going on because people look terrified, and if it wasn’t for language barriers, we would be able to talk to them clearly and find out what’s going on with them look at their behavior ?no one willingly leaves their home and I feel that someone knows what’s happening there

I’m happy I watched this because I have been wondering about this depression wave that is in this country if I was the only one feeling it. All these points are valid. Don’t get me wrong canada is a beautiful place and give you access to learning and living with many different cultures which one of the things I love. But all these points these ladies stated just prove that I wasn’t just overthinking. Sometimes this place feels like an open prison tbh, specially Quebec which is the highest taxed province. It’s literally a life of work, pay your bills, feed yourself and work again. 2weeks vacation in a year of work, with 8 off days a month, isn’t enough for the brain and well being of someone. One find themselves doing everything under pressure because of the trauma that many jobs have created. People will walk under a storm, rain, thunder, you name it! just so they can earn that 130 a day.(using the minimum wage,). The gouvernement does it best to put all these programs in place, but no one want to always feel like your life is being controlled because you need a 1000$ check every month. People get tired of this dependency as well. The whole is thing is just depressing ?

Can someone explain the sausages thing to me?
2023-04-13 0
It’s really sad that people see no future or safety where they are at. They’re willing to flee on foot with children and little else to walk hundreds of miles just to hopefully make their kids lives better. There has got to be a better way to help these people. I don’t know the answers but I also don’t get paid to know them. As someone who has sympathy for my brothers and sisters no matter where they were born this just hurts my heart.

Meanwhile my neighbors of Spanish origin were raised and taught in the local schools here and act like they can’t speak English\nI love how they have so\nMuch pride in being Mexican yet they left their country to come here and act like they do\nThe woman are apparently forced to stay inside except when putting their kids on the bus and always someone watching her, and the house next door every few months a crowd of pregnant ladies stay awhile and then leave to repeat the cycle every so often, and nobody in that house works yet they always have different vehicles and money for the lottery\nAnd both houses are always “remodeling” to the point I e called the houses Narnia because apparently you enter the door and it’s a whole universe in there to be remodeled from time to time

The pragmátic topic here is that the U.S. government is fomenting this negative point with the so called embargo on Venezuela, this has been happening since the emabrgo commenced, we all know that Venezuela was in bad shape, but with the embargo it has been very difficult for many many people in Venezuela. If someone did not know about this, now you are informed.

Lefties voted for this. They would rather spite republicans than vote for someone who would end this nonsense. Republicans are called racists and bigots for wanting to handle this issue. Anyone here from the left complaining about this can go suck a big one.
2023-04-09 0
Ok yea these people at the border are out of control. How can you force yourselves into someone else’s country.
2023-04-09 0
PLEASE I WILL BE GRATEFUL, if you can explain how one can move from UK to Canada, someone who is currently a student in UK or on sponsorship in UK, And want to move to Canada

I was in a dollar general store the other day and someone who didn't speak my language was working there. She did not understand what I was saying to her, I ended up leaving because I couldn't get her to understand me.?? I can't believe this is happening in our country we couldn't go there and do that to them.
2023-04-09 0
This is Venezuelan people. Someone is funding this movement of people. ?
2023-04-08 0
I bet if they dug a few pits and put some tear gas rounds in the crowd they would flee and rethink these invasions. Personally I think they should be in their own country fighting the corruption there instead of fleeing here making them our burden to bear. The colonists didn't hide behind someone else's skirt expecting them to fight for them and take care of them.
2023-04-08 0
If you rob and destroy someone’s home, it’s only natural for them to come and knock on your door. \nSimple
2023-04-08 0
Yeah so someone about 5 years ago tried to put up a wall… He was called raciest and a bigot.. The problems that are happening now followed. America was cranking people were making more then ever, then democrats made a plea of stop working, coronavirus is bad get the shot. This country has literally been run straight through the ground in the last 2 years. Trump didn’t want everyone to stay home I’m with him it caused more harm then good… I’m sad for America and so are most veterans. To the point most people are scared to open there mouths for fear of the government coming and silencing them.. sounds familiar right
2023-04-08 0
Yeah someone should've listened to Trump right?

I got an idea stead of going to someone else's country for your freedom why don't you stand up and fight for your own freedom in your own country shame on the people that don't stand up for their own rights

Hi, \nI recently got NOI from Alberta. Could you please tell me on how I can accept it. Do we need to share any specific documents? Would really appreciate if someone could share a sample mail/screenshot of how to do the same. I'm very much new to this whole PNP process and I'm doing this by myself. So really worried on all the process. \nThanks in advance.
2023-04-05 0
Let's be honest. Someone coordinating this thing.
2023-04-05 0
If I were one of them, I would not risk myself or my family going into an alien country without legal visas and work to earn adequate money for food and shelter. I hope these people realize that, and stop getting arrested or killed, God will not bless me if I live on someone else’s tax fund.\nHomelessness and riots have not spared any country on this planet.

If someone wants to come to the U.S., do it legally. Don't come here as an illegal, and find some loophole to stay here, undocumented and use resources & benefits meant for Americans & LEGAL immigrants. Because there's nothing left to take care of those who really need and deserve it.
2023-04-04 0
Illegal immigrants are stealing so many jobs and the companies hire them for cheap labor this is bullshit, those jerks are overflowing in Rome GA send someone here to clean up these bastards

Even someone who is barely awake could see this coming.

Over 300,000 homeless veterans wander the streets searching for food and shelter currently. Dying at an estimated rate of 22 a day due to self inflicted harm….the system in place to take care of them and provide comprehensive medical care is crippled and broken….every SINGLE ONE of these men and women has a head full of bad memories and experiences from defending their country in war (some missing limbs)….can’t hold a job and have trouble finding a job….NOONE is making substantial and reinforced efforts to care for these brave men and women. Yet, if you cross that border illegally you’re given shelter (free stay at 5star hotels in NYC sound nice)…comprehensive medical care…food stamps and even job placement for some. And in some cases, we’re providing that help to individuals who are simply making a pit stop between Mexico and Canada because it’s better for them there according to some. Frankly, we have enough issues that are swallowing us whole and need to focus on building up and caring for our own citizens and force stop mass migration, strongly enforce deportation as well as employing more case workers to help with legal immigration process. We spend all this money sending to Ukraine and yet here we are, cutting our own throats to save someone else’s hand. I have no issue with legal immigration and asylum but you need to go through the process like those before you. I know this is asking a lot but it IS possibly to make it work
2023-04-04 0
America first if that sounds wrong then switch places with someone across the border
2023-04-04 0
Protect your country. As someone Who live in poor country I know it's my responsibility to buit my country and not transfer my problems to my neighbor. Trump told you which kind of people these illegal immigrants are He is 100% correct believe him. I know they are not hardworking and dadicated like some of us that's why they spend their time moving to imaginary paradise.
