Why do they want to come to this shit hole country. If Biden gets in for another term, I’m heading to Mexico.

Canada is never the same in the past fifty years.People just want to come here for the Money so they can leave for the country they belong.They think Canadian are stupid because of their generosity so they take advantage of the government hand out.Leadership in our country is not,we became Followers of the U.S.systems and no accountability for the conditions we are in.Supporting wars and giveaway funds to nations and ignoring our citizens who need help.Everything you need you have to pay taxes and what is our taxes doing nothing.

Its simple if you want to practice your religion…stay in your own country….every country have there own rules….

Why can’t they apply for the visas then apply for citizenship and take classes and the test like everyone immigrating to the US has to do? It’s really sad to see this happening. It’s not just the USA it’s all countries. You have to have visas if your not on vacation and sometimes if you are on vacation. Then to stay longer the visa has to be redone for a longer time. But they have to apply for citizenship and study and pass the tests. I have several friends that did it the correct way. I just want everyone to have a chance and do it right as well. We need them and entering illegally just isn’t okay.

This is sad if we can’t take care of ourself why are we supporting every ammunition to every other immigrant besides Mexicans, they are just as much allowed to be here as we are so what if they on the other side of water. Sad an sickening I know the people want them gone but why? The leaders of the Latin American countries should feel so much shame that it is so terrible there that their citizens want to come to America. Do you know how bad it has to be for someone to leave their home forever to go to someplace where half the population hates you because of your skin color?!

I spent years in Venezuela... Come to learn that they are some of the most corrupt dishonest arrogant proud lustful adulterers and always drinking and partying... I had a lot of fun there but it was the ones that left Venezuela that I had the biggest issues with... To keep them from paying their fair share in taxes. Education, infrastructure, investment, they do none of it they do not participate in our democracy they are all participating in socialism for the rich and mass greed. We can't afford a roof over our heads. We can't afford healthcare. We can't afford school. The rich are taking all of our money and lining their pockets, the corporstions pockets, the military complex, the police depts. Republicans and corporate dems have been rerouting our tax money away from public education and towards private charter rich people schools for the last 30 years. Our country is in trouble. Rich people are playing monopoly ruining our economy and our society.

Imagine if the United States was just as poor and dangerous( and the US is dangerous) as the countries they are coming from.... That boarder would be empty, dusty, boring, don't no one want to go to the US. So because the US isn't that, they want to come here. Why...... Because of financial gains and materialistic things. It can't be for safety, because they leave one ghetto, to live in a US ghetto. It's all about Dollar

To all of the imigrants who want a better life. STUDY hard and recieve your education in your HOME COUNTRY and get as many qualifications as you can. THEN learn ENGLISH, communication and Microsoft office. Congratulations, you are now JOB ready. NOW come to Canada, other countries other than your homeland. BOOM, you will now be qualified, have a well paid job. Start a family and can LIVE. This will add less headache for your parents, families. DO NOT come here without a plan.

I have seen the videos of what happens in the southern countries and a lot of those ppl have zero respect for life we really do not want that culture here in the US

So many thousands of bodies of children taken to residential schools from their parents arms and community for over 160 years yet the deep wounds aren’t given compassion by most people anymore and systemic abuse actively impacts them and therefore all of Us . We are all one whether we see people as other’ or not. We’re humans. \n They’re not seen in media unless it’s a bad story yet we’re only now teaching one mandatory class by non indigenous people. Solution: elders teach their grandchildren languages that weren’t erased by genocide and environmental /spiritual cultural practices and lifestyles before they’re gone by paying first people elders and streaming it into all Canadian classrooms so the children can see a future where they’re valued and all Canadian kids can get a full education and learn accurate history. Making canoes, baskets, sacred ceremonies, food growing (that they taught to pilgrims so they’d survive here), etc. No, I’m not indigenous. I’m an immigrant like all but the first people. They’ve an amazing culture that’s been all but lost . When we don’t see ourselves represented in any media, any careers, and start our lives in extended poverty based on our race, and all that was taken still today, it’s no wonder the teen suicide rate for indigenous youth is more than double / triple all non - indigenous youth. The numbers are growing. \nI live in Care due to my physical disabilities . An international nursing student worked for me providing personal care like showers, meal prep etc and over that year, she said she wouldn’t have moved here specifically because of a few things I’ve mentioned. She told me Canada was sold to people in her country of origin as a ‘multicultural’ safe haven without extreme racism still prevalent today and within our history. \n\nI’m ashamed of Canadian government promises for over 100 years that aren’t fulfilled. All children deserve healthy drinking Water and an education. Period. Especially, the ambassadors of this amazing land that they see as themselves without separation. That’s accurate. We will have nothing to stand upon if we don’t protect the earth. It will go on without us. \n\nI see many things in the comments I’ve seen or experienced, unfortunately. This is a beautiful country for so many reasons. Yay! I love all these people! I have met so many Venezuelans and they are so wonderful! I feel like the only people that don't want them here are poor Americans. At the end of the day I think Canada and the US share a lot of common ground in a lot of areas. \nThe major difference in my eyes between Canada and the US is the competitiveness of each economy. The US is far more competitive and innovative than Canada. Canadians are more risk averse and seem to want to work for the government or a big company whereas Americans are more confident in themselves and would prefer to work for themselves and try to start a business for themselves - and importantly - want to have it become a large business. \nAs a Canadian I wish I would have moved down to the States and tried it out when I was younger. I'm too old to move there now... \nCanada still isn't a bad place but it is nowhere near as prosperous for the average person, or I should say the average worker, as it used to be. And Canada's economy seems to be deteriorating rapidly and being usurped by newly developing countries whereas the economic future of the US seems brighter due to the powerful innovation in the US. However the social situation in the US seems to be deteriorating more so than in Canada.

I assume that there are no homeless people in the US or France...How many thousands and thousands die from drugs in the US and other countries in the world.Yes,the governments should do better and find/build special housing for these people.They should set up special\nclinics in order to detoxify these drug addicts.The problem is that people don't want to have these clinics in their neighbourhood because they are afraid of fights,their houses will go down\nin value and so on.I saw a documentary about the homeless people and I was surprised and not surprised about what they are saying.There is what they call the Old House Brewery in\nMontreal and there are about 50 beds (or more) and the homeless people can sleep,eat and shower.There are a lots of then who refuse to go to this place,some say that so people were\nmaking noises at night and they prefer to sleep under bridges ..Homeless people are everywhere in the world.DON'T FORGET THAT IT 'S ALSO THE JOB OF THE PROVINCES TO FIND\nSHELTERS FOR THESE PEOPLE...

American here who spent three glorious years in Canada (Montréal) for university. I fell in love with the country and have visited all ten provinces and one territory. I desperately wanted to stay in Canada and was so emotional that I literally cried when my student visa expired and I had to return to the States. Fast forward 40 years, I've had a pretty good life here in the States and was able to retire comfortably at 55. I hesitated to watch this video because I thought it would make me feel bad about my situation, but I think it (and the comments) actually made me feel OK with how my life turned out. I now realize that no place is perfect -- not even Canada.

people care less about the topics you have highlighted here. for an example LGBT rights doesn't play a huge role in day to day life of a person who is not identified as one, legalizing weed, how less religious people are etc are not even things that makes up to top 5 priorities. Canada is WAAY more expensive than USA (and most of the developed countries), its infrastructure is way subpar than of USA (or even some developing countries) and lets not even talk about the joke of a healthcare system in Canada. to see a GP people has to stay in the queue for 3 MONTHS!!!! THREE MONTHS!! its pathetic after paying so much taxes and getting a healthcare service thats worse than a third world country! and why do you not talk about the fact insurance plays a huge role here if you want ANY kind of a service without staying for months until your stage 1 cancer grows to a stage 4 :)
