The refugees get wrong information through social media saying that Canada, U.S. and Europe will take all refugees in and they will get a free car and a free house! This is not the case! When they come here they find out the truth!

I remember when my family immigrated here over 15+ years ago and my brother was only 1 years old. 2 weeks after coming here he slipped on the floor and cut open his forehead on the hinges of our door and he was bleeding everywhere (he later had to get 6 stitches to fix it), my father was out working and we didn't know how to contact the police or hospital because we didn't have a home phone yet. We used our neighbors and the ambulance came and I strictly remember that because we didn't have our health cards yet they wouldn't start work even though my father said he will pay when he gets there. I remember my mother and I feeling helpless while my 1 year old brother was bleeding out (the hospital staff tried to stop the bleeding with cotton ball and bandage) and I distinctly remember that they did not start helping my brother even WHILE my father was paying but only started work after the bill was completed. Even though my family felt helpless at that time and we felt it was unfair, we never blamed Canada because it was their policy and they have every right to follow protocols. So it makes me angry to see people who walked into our country illegally getting far better treatment than my family ever got even though it might not be anything as life threatening as ours was. It makes me angry that our hard earned tax dollars are used to help people who have no motivation to help the country that gave them asylum during war.. It's actually the opposite as a lot of these families call their free housing "disgusting" and compare it to "living like a slave". I'm angry because little girls at my brothers own school are getting shoved and assaulted by refugee boys as young as 6-7 and are let off with a simple "don't do that again" and a meeting with the parents. This is not the Canada my family came to love and call home so I can't imagine the hardships of Canadians who are living here for 3, 4, 5+ generations 😔😔

They came to Canada to invest in the housing market. Many owners of houses and condos in Toronto/Richmond Hill and other areas live in China and pay managers to rent their property and take care of the money for them. China requested Canada to hand over Chinese citizens who took illegal sums of Chinese funds out of China but Canada refused due to the harsh Chinese sentences for that crime. Wealthy Chinese are laundering Billions of funds in the Canadian housing market and other investments. Although there are many other reasons for the Canadian housing bubble the fact remains that many young people and families residing in Canada can’t afford the inflated housing prices. Many Chinese come to Canada for their holidays, and one reason I know when they arrive is because my doctor is Chinese and every spring the office is packed with Chinese people who come to get their annual free check up, they all have Canadian citizenship and health cards too.

This is not true. And now that the Government of Canada has hid it, I can no longer prove it. However, not only did my MP admit that they get close to 2500 dollars per month for the first year and sometimes longer. They are automatically authorized for a loan. And hey, 50,000 for a family is enough for a downpayment, while we can sit here working all our lives and never be able to buy a house. But they are automatically authorized. So the question is, why is it profittable to bring in refugees? Maybe if the government gave me 50,000 or 2500 per month, and or they gave me easier loans....I would have already been profiting Canada in many ways. I used to live in Brampton and this is the city where I first landed. No hatred for the city but people have ruined it. I'm a brown guy myself so I can't be racist against my own people and tbh, some of the best people I know in Canada are Sikhs but even they accept the fact that there is a large number of bad apples in their community. Sikhs have played a major part in both positive and negative way, to make and break this city.\n\nInsurance scams in Brampton cost their citizens to pay one of the highest premiums in the country. Generally, drivers in Brampton have no fuckin' idea how to drive because the licences were literally bought. \n\nA large number of people of our brown community always hell bent on abusing the system, wherever they go. We bring the same back home mindset here in Canada rather follow the system. \n\nThe only thing mostly brown community is focused on is how to make money and that's all. Don't try to learn the language, don't like to mix with people, don't care about the laws or anything. Too much emotion here. Fact is that if a person is an illegal immigrant in both Canada or the US, they are in the custody of the state, and the state will have to house him/her. That could be a jail, or an ICE detention centre or a temporary housing accommodation, e.g. a hotel. Question is, how much is being spent? It wouldn't surprise me if the cost of the hotel is cheaper than a jail.

Canada has been using hotels for refugees for decades - and they aren't 5-star hotels. I doubt they are even a 2 star. And the goofball Canadian on here forgets to inform Tucker Carleson that 90% of Canada is the wilderness where there are no cities or civilization to house anyone in our vastness.

Much better than cages! \n\nSecondly, these individuals have already gone through the immigration process, hearing claims, back ground checks, medical checks. So these individuals in hotels have already been accepted to stay in Canada. They are in hotels due to Housing shortage issue. \n\nThird, way more illegal immigrants have been detained and removed from Canada. \n\nFourth, most of these people are families. Canada is very skeptical of accepting males. Sorry guys! \n\nFifth, these hotels have a contract with the government. These are the same hotels that were used to temporarily shelter Syrian refugees. Usually 3-4 families stay in one hotel. 500 people won't be staying in the same hotel. Plus the hotels charge the government an insane amount. So they make money. \n\nSixth, more than 10% of hotel cleaning jobs go unfilled. Guess what? Most of these asylum seekers end up working in the hotels they're staying in because of program called Employing Newcomers in Canadian Hotels Project. \n\nDon't worry about us America we know what we're doing. Trust me, no children were separated from their families and placed in cages.

I'll lay it out for you: Me: typical middle of the road liberal oriented Canadian. Non white, immigrant (I wasnt born here) I worked in a Refugee housing for over 4 years in Ontario. Most were not war areas refugees (Yes I know there are other types of refugees). I only encountered few refugees from war areas. ONLY 1 person from Iraq, about 2 families were from Afghanistan, 1 couple from Pakistan(I doubt they were real refugees they spoke fluent English, maybe political refugee), and a most from African countries. Its too far for real refugees to get here. Its Easier for them to go to other countries nearby or Europe. MOST SEEM TO BE ECONOMIC REFUGEES. Most were coming from Africa. Some are coming from Latin America, which shouldn't be happening. Once they showed up at our doorstep and we processed them into the system, they were immediately in the same class as a Canadian resident homeless person if they were making a refugee claim. We get money to house and feed them (from the government), and they are given a stipend for basics from the government processed through the Social Assistance/ Welfare system (they get less than a resident/citizen I think.). They then have to get their case processed by the refugee board, and most seem to get in. I've only heard of few getting sent back. One person I know at our facility, was given a subsided social housing apartment after a year in our facility. So they went straight from a shelter to a government/city owned subsidized apartment. (Didn't seem like it was a issue for the housing worker...they didn't report it (if they were not the ones that helped the person to get it), they were white, the housed person was Latin. This refugee claimant, and then month or two new Canadian resident person was given an apartment in a prime area of the city, instead of the 1000's of Canadians, those who came before them, and born Canadian citizens on an extremely long waiting list. How this was allowed to happen I don't know. The person was probably sucking on someone's straw. I'm just trying to think the barriers these people have to go through to get a job here. We are far removed from the time of the 80's and 90's., and housing and jobs are so hard to get. I am a TPS holder from el salvador for about 20 years with 3 kids born in Tennessee. and that program will end in September 2019, , i have to go back to my country and there is nothing i can do to stay in this country usa that have gave me everything what i have ; a beautiful family and a house that i am selling for 300,000 a nice car Toyota camry selling for 7000, a Nissan Frontier selling for 8000, a HVAC technical diploma and a good hvac job(60,000a year) but i just woke up and i found out that this dream already ends, ,,,,,,,,,,,, but i am not crying feeling like a Donald Trump victim.........guest what? Canada have a point based migration system that i qualify,,,,,,,requirement are; 60 percent English, high school, a trade skill training, or a degree or a diploma, no felonies, no debts, 2 or more years of experience in a skilled trade or profession, and 15000 dollars, also you need a a job offer on a level A,B and C for Atlantic Canada and a job offer level A and B for the rest of the provinces, i got all of these requirements,,,since i need a red seal for my hvac trade i only qualify for the Atlantic Canada on a level C,,,,,,,,,,,,i already fill it out all the papers and transcripts my high school and took my English test in Nashville,,,,,,,,,,,so i guess will be in a matter of weeks that i will receive the letter off invitation to emigrate to Canada,,,,,,so amigos gringos i can kiss goodbye uncle sam land,,,,wish me good luck,,,,as soon as i enter Canadá i will get on my knees and kiss the land of that great nation that i will settle in New Brunswick with my lovely babies and my lovely wife, i will show my babies to love and give their lives for Canada very well,,,,psss and don’t worry about the 315,000 dollars amigos gringos, uncle sam will tax that

For the first group of 25000 Syrian refugees, many had very large families. As mentioned in the video, $50,000 depending on the number in the family, probably 8 or more, mostly children under the age of 17? Now add on the child care benefit. For each child under the age of 6 the family gets $6400 & those over the age of 6 to 17 they get $5400. So if you had 8 kids, 4 under the age of 6 equal to $25,600 & 4 over equal $21,600 & it's all tax free. Now add on subsidized housing, free health care, the one time setup housing money & the Government covered their transportation cost to Canada. Total $97,200, most of it tax free. Canadian Immigration Consultant considers this kind of family just above the poverty line. Remember this is just a scenario, but it does show the added benefit of our wonderful child care benefit for families.

RE: Canadian healthcare, my wife broke both her hips in 2017 in two separate falls, she was admitted immediately to hospital without delay and operated on the next day (half hip replacement), after physio and occupational therapy she was discharged and provided Homecare, 16 times per week plus weekly Day Hospital. Our cost for both operations was roughly $160.00 for parking spots for me so I could visit her and about $140 in Tim Horton doughnuts for staff. The system does not have enough of certain types of specialists thus wait times for those specialists, and there are wait times for elective surgery. The system has not really been reviewed since its inception in the 1960s but making significant changes is the third rail of Canadian politics and a hard look is justified after 70 years. Re: illegal crossings; The gentleman in the video has a problem in that the US and Canada have signed a “safe country” agreement and neither will accept refugees from the other as both Canada and the US are deemed “safe havens”. He crossed illegally, if he had crossed legally he would have been immediately turned back at the border but he clearly entered the country between border crossings and was likely arrested and released on recognizance but not returned immediately as the agreement is silent on illegal entries (yes, seems a touch strange). As many people are leaving the US for Canada the system is overwhelmed. Tent cities have been set up in Quebec and public housing used in Manitoba to house illegal immigrant pending processing - those with criminal records are held for deportation. Canada has accepted roughly 25,000 Syrian refugees from camps in that part of the world. These refugees were first vetted by the UN then Canada. These refugees are completely different from the people crossing the border illegally from the United States. This pales to the 75,000 boat people accepted after the fall of Saigon. Canadians have been generally accepting of refugees but wants the process guided by the rule of law. Immigrants are a separate from refugees and the rules governing their entries into Canada are different.
