Everyone crying about all these illegals coming in but we had one President ready to confront this crap and keep them out: Trump, yes that’s right, the only one willing to stop this insanity. Lived in us for 10 years and also Canada for 7. I can 100% say that life in Canada is a whole lot better then USA. Although pay is more in USA, it’s quickly eaten up by all the expenses and trust me when I say you will spend a ton. Your entire city you live in will most likely try to eat away as much of your wallet as you can. People and going outside is just better in Canada. Usa really really sucks apart from pay, especially for kids unless you live in an expensive city. People are Riddled with hate and it’s not safe for kids to play outside because something is def out to get them. Usually it’s a car or a criminal. One thing I’ve noticed is kids in USA end up doing drugs a whole lot more, because there’s not much for the kids to do. Kids can’t spend much and can’t travel far or at all, so they resort to drugs. With my hs done in highschool, a huge majority of the schools were doing one or another sort of drug. Also I’m back in Canada because life as a student is just a whole lot better then the snaky system of USA. Both suck in their own ways though, Canada a whole lot less, plan to move out to an eastern country anywya tjough.

Every country on Earth has people leaving. Their reasons differ from one person to the next. What's interesting is which countries are gaining more people than they are losing. Canada is gaining.

I hate comparisons between US and Canada. I do not think there is a country on earth that can compare to Canada. It's the 2nd largest country with one of the smallest populations ever. The United States has at least 10x more people than Canada. Stats and graphs honestly mean nothing because percentage does not take into account the actual number. 30 percent of 35 million is waaaay different than 30 percent of 350 million ! This year the lottery in the US WAS 2 BILLION DOLARS, In Ontario there is cap of 70 million.

Convenient that the camera crew was here for this, on both sides of the barbwire, while they enforce border laws for 30 seconds. Technically this is more of a campaign commercial for Joe then any kind of truth. I am sure every one of those people, at a minimum, got their feet on US soil that day. Solution: elders teach their grandchildren languages that weren’t erased by genocide and environmental /spiritual cultural practices and lifestyles before they’re gone by paying first people elders and streaming it into all Canadian classrooms so the children can see a future where they’re valued and all Canadian kids can get a full education and learn accurate history. Making canoes, baskets, sacred ceremonies, food growing (that they taught to pilgrims so they’d survive here), etc. No, I’m not indigenous. I’m an immigrant like all but the first people. They’ve an amazing culture that’s been all but lost . When we don’t see ourselves represented in any media, any careers, and start our lives in extended poverty based on our race, and all that was taken still today, it’s no wonder the teen suicide rate for indigenous youth is more than double / triple all non - indigenous youth. The numbers are growing. \nI live in Care due to my physical disabilities . An international nursing student worked for me providing personal care like showers, meal prep etc and over that year, she said she wouldn’t have moved here specifically because of a few things I’ve mentioned. She told me Canada was sold to people in her country of origin as a ‘multicultural’ safe haven without extreme racism still prevalent today and within our history. \n\nI’m ashamed of Canadian government promises for over 100 years that aren’t fulfilled. All children deserve healthy drinking Water and an education. Period. Especially, the ambassadors of this amazing land that they see as themselves without separation. That’s accurate. I’m 47 years old, black (Caribbean descent) and have lived in Canada my whole life. I’ve lived in Montreal, Toronto and Calgary and visited all over the country. Have never experienced any racism of any kind. Toronto and Montreal in particular are incredibly diverse. Not sure how you would see any overt racism in those places. I don’t trust this lady’s story at all. Sounds like she’s making it up as she goes along tbh. If her brother’s boss fired him and called him the N-word that’s an easy lawsuit to win… and it’s difficult to believe that ANY boss would be THAT stupid. \n\nThere are ignorant people everywhere without a doubt… but please don’t believe this B.S. about white people hating anyone who isn’t white. One thing to take note of is that amongst the UK US Canada Australia. The UK is the most visa friendly among all of them. Why is it that most people especially nigerians and other african countries are going to the UK than USA and Canada.. getting a visa to USA and Canada is not easy due to their foreign policy, and visa policy as well. Unless you're from a country their government really like then they give it to you without stress. The UK is more lenient with visa acceptance and of which that can change at anytime if they decide to review their policy.

Venezuela is an extreme socialist problem. They control all prices and hijack the concept of healthy business functions. This causes essential goods like water, food, and toilet paper, even fruits, are totally barren from stores. Socialism there is a nightmare and no one is living life their with decency. Read about it before you judge these people. Try to visit these countries or learn from someone who came from there before you form a solid opinion of politics folks They don’t have the ability to use much of their “freedom” to “fix” things against a rigged system already (some commenters say they need to go back and fix their countries- lots of issues with this). Read up on how South American governments make it almost impossible for their own people to make decent money. Americans are very privileged and that is an understatement. The problem is with these terrible governments and even law enforcement who often get bribed by criminals and many dirty cops in some countries down there. My husband is from South America, and we know Cubans, Brazilians, and Venezuelans who beg America to stay capitalist. That’s why America needs to stay American, and refrain from trying to be socialist.

American here who spent three glorious years in Canada (Montréal) for university. I fell in love with the country and have visited all ten provinces and one territory. I desperately wanted to stay in Canada and was so emotional that I literally cried when my student visa expired and I had to return to the States. Fast forward 40 years, I've had a pretty good life here in the States and was able to retire comfortably at 55. I hesitated to watch this video because I thought it would make me feel bad about my situation, but I think it (and the comments) actually made me feel OK with how my life turned out. I now realize that no place is perfect -- not even Canada.

On the serious side now. What if you lived in a country that was so poor you barely could live. Now what if you were a family man who couldnt provide for your loved ones. Canada is WAAY more expensive than USA (and most of the developed countries), its infrastructure is way subpar than of USA (or even some developing countries) and lets not even talk about the joke of a healthcare system in Canada. to see a GP people has to stay in the queue for 3 MONTHS!!!!
