How long ago did these things happen? I thought stamping a passport was obsolete, For the last 10 years or so, my passport for my county is electronic and my (and everyone elses) passport is recorded electronically at the point of entry and examined electronically to ensure the persons face and passport photograph are matched etc. I assumed that this is world wide, but perhaps I am wrong.

I worked for a lady who once worked as a border officer and she said she let in a bunch of people who didn't have the paper work or who she thought was a criminal type person. It was disturbing.

I feel sorry for the children. Here we.have an illegal individual who decided to sneak into the country and start a family. The poor children have no choice and now the family is all broken up\n It was his fault. He should have thought about the consequences.
