I think you missed on some major point like - Income, taxes, business opportunity, . In short they is no comparison. USA is way ahead since it is capitalist country but Canadian are peaceful, healthy and caring.

Over 15 million have crossed over guarded entry points so far. Many more millions, under the radar, have crossed the river border. Guided by Coyotes who often load the men traveling in family groups with drugs. They hold the rest of their family as hostages until the men return with confirmation of delivery. The women are often raped in the process. Young ladies are often seperated and taken for sex trade. Those unwilling are typically killed and left to rot.\nThe Biden administration is responsible, eliminating the due process of immigration, where by all who want to enter US, must do so legally.

What if the boarder guard start to shoot , then what ! Can’t try to over run and bombard people in their own country and if they over power the guards they can take their weapons, that definitely is not a good look ! There is a process that people have to follow and if the guard doesn’t stop them , then when would it stop because news travel fast and every other immigrants will head to that part of the boarder and rush in , can’t have all those people who have not been ID running a muck in the country because that would break down every day security because some of those people are criminals and others will turn into criminals just to be able to survive ! That is organized and orchestrated by the Republicans to embarrass , Biden government, that just showed that most republicans are not really patriots, they will break down the fiber of this country just to get their point across , they are using immigration to turn the American people against Biden government ! What’s the point of paying all these U.N. fees when we’re still asked to foot the bill. We already paid our dues. We’re losing the top spot from not investing in ourselves and dishing out all this money for other countries to grow.

That should cause everyone to question why they want to leave? Is there something we can do to support change in their countries so they don’t want to leave? Can we advocate for that in our politics? Is there something we can do to make housing more affordable? There isn’t a housing shortage, we have 600,000 homeless with millions of vacant homes! Can we advocate for the rights of people over giant real estate companies like Blackstone gobbling up houses and apartments, making them unaffordable before we scream that there aren’t houses for these people?!\n\nThe complete lack of effort around finding a solution is mind blowing to me! Everyone just resorts to basically saying they should all be kicked out!! Why can’t we find a solution? I just don’t get why this is such a controversial issue! Kicking them out or criminalizing them is just sweeping the issue under the rug. It doesn’t solve the problem, meaning after a while they will come back and we will be right back where we started. \n\nI guess I just feel like there should be a little more compassion and problem solving when talking about immigration!

Born and raised Cdn and every point you raise is valid IMO and experience. I love my country however, it is hard to get ahead, we work too much, and cost of living is so expensive. The reason why Canada is wonderful for those who stay is A) Charter of Rights and Freedoms - we are protected by laws and citizens enjoy legal, justice, policing and gvmt services that help protect quality of life. B) it is a safe country primarily and not easy to reach for insurgents, terrorist attacks and political anarchy etc. C) We have so much land and space for people to decide where they want to live - density is not high so you can have space. D) it is a beautiful country with awe inspiring nature. E) we do have one of the best immigrant populations and that is our crown. Being diverse is a blessing so if you are atheist, Christian, Muslim etc doesn't matter - you can enjoy freedom to worship as you wish. And F) Healthcare could improve but, the quality of care is world class and speaking as a breast cancer survivor who's treatment ran $120k (diagnostics, chemo, surgery, radiation, med professionals, rehab and drug therapies) we have access to that care whereas in other countries you may not.

Do like any other country would have and open fire. After 1st few fall the rest will stop. Drastic measures are needed at this point

So, were white people immigrants to this land at some point, or did they steal it from someone? Let's answer that tough age-old question together as a nation, shall we?

One of themajor rallying calls: immigration. The way media report on this becomes increasingly demeaning and hateful. During the 1930's much of the European media and even as far as the UK was ramping up the scorn against the ever increasing influx of Jewish immigrants coming from Germany. Even into 1944 there was a vast amount of demonisation of them seeking asylum, despite the knowledge by this point that there were horrific conditions in camps where extermination was becoming ever more apparent. The Nazi German government in 1936 passed laws that enabled them to revoke citizenship and stripped away laws on human rights. It would be great to say that these poor souls who were being demonised in their own country were accepted into nations who could see what was going on and who wanted to help, but that just wasn't the way it went. Media played out as it is now, leading to rejection and a greater number of deaths as a result of this. The way the UK government is currently working, it actually sounds like the maxi government of the mid 30's during the time of the Nürnberg laws. \n \nThe world feels far smaller now with double the amount of people and with things like social media playing a huge role in the lives of many. The ease of access to people around the world has made issues seem to stretch to far more countries now, whereas back then it was a time of empires. I get that there will be many here who support Trump, many who support Biden, there will be Brit's who support Sunak and the rather vicious words of Suella Braverman, whilst others will be more on the side of Starmer (I'm well aware of all the other parties but they don't stand to gain as much). There will be French people backing Macron, whilst others back Le Pen. We could go through each country all the way to the battle between Fujimori and Castillo in Perú, and the stories are much the same, but how will history judge us when people look back to this time? Will it be another occasion where we demonised those trying to escape the horror of the place they had the bad luck to be born in whilst we were luckier? \n\nI know there is hardship everywhere. I'm struggling more than most and I know I can't keep living this way. However, I don't want to be a part of history people look back at and say ‘if only they did something to help prevent this.’. I would rather be a part of history people look back upon and say; ‘that was a boring time period where nothing important happened’. It's already too late for that. Instead I try to remember that, though I was born into a family who never really wanted me, I was lucky enough to be born into a country that could support me during the hardest times. When you look at immigrants, remember that every one of us has immigrants in our family tree somewhere.

At what point are we going to secure our border?

Canadian here, and this video is right on the money for some of the most frustrating things about Canada! \n\nOur proudest achievement is our healthcare system, but up until recently, the government has been choking it little by little. Making it so difficult for any Doctor/Nurse to even consider finding work here (and making it impossible to afford getting a medical degree) because you are literally doing it for the love of the game at this point. \n\nEven if you become a specialist in a specific field (which pays really well compared to most careers here) it is unlikely any hospital will hire you. Our hospitals are only interested in making profits by pushing painkillers on Canadians, rather than hiring medical professionals to help fix them. If you become a family Doctor, it is a bit better, because you can open your own practice. But kiss your social life goodbye if you do! The most annoying part of this problem is some people blame all this on the fact that we have healthcare and assume a private American system would be better. Where the real problem is we need more workers and funding into our healthcare to make it better. Not making lives harder for poorer Canadians!\n\nWeirdly enough our Tax system issue didn't stand out as a problem to me until I left Canada and see how taxes are marked elsewhere! It blew my mind that I didn't have to do math when I visited another country and the way we advertise wages is purposely deceptive! In Ontario, we succeeded in getting a $14 hour minimum wage (only in Ontario and maybe one other province). Which sounded amazing until you realize that's $14 without tax... To compare, I was incredibly lucky in Toronto where I found a place for 750 a month and was earning $16 an hour. Sounded like more than enough for the cost of living, but after taxes I was pretty much putting more than half my monthly income in rent. On top of that I had to pay for student loans and other bills. \n\nBottom line, if you are wanting to move to Canada for our beautifully scenic environments, free healthcare, and a stable job? \n\nMove to Finland.

That is saddening to see, but Americans can’t even take care of themselves at this point. Too much power was given to their government..

Imagine being lied to, to the point that you run to a country that will treat you like a 2nd class wage slave and put you in a concentration camp until they can figure out what to do with you. If you want freedom and liberty get on a boat and find an African country with no or little taxes. Meritocracy is dying in the west and it's because large American companies love cheap low skill labor that won't complain as they are being worked to death for pennies. I'm gonna be honest, if your first point is that we pay too much in taxes, then I'm not going to watch the rest of the video. We pay taxes so that everybody can have a good life, regardless of their income. If you want to argue the exact percentage amount we should be paying, fine. But it's not different in any first world country EXCEPT the United States, and we can see how well that's going for them.
