Nothing against the immigrates can’t blame them for wanting a better life, but this will destroy us as a country. We will look back at this years from now as a bad decision. We don’t have enough now for all the people who already are here what about them? How can they just add more people to our problems and expect different outcomes? It’s not lack of people lots of people are out of jobs. It’s about lack of living standards and inequality. This is like throwing a wrench in the whole situation, and will solve nothing but make things worse, but it’s designed to take away the attention from the current and ongoing problems we have, but most Canadians are waking up and realizing the lies of our government. They screwed our country over, and we may never recover now. They should all be let go for treason

How do you justify bringing more people into this country when you have a housing crisis? Where are they going to live? Where are the people who were born in Canada going to live when they can’t find available affordable housing? Like let’s get our priorities straight here and fix the problems we have first.

How exactly will this help soaring demand for things like housing and healthcare? This is going to result in lacking health services for elderly Canadians that have paid in all their lives and now are going to need it. Wait times are insane, the last 2 times my girlfriend went to the ER she waited hours only to be told to go home without being seen by a doctor and we’re supposed to be happy with adding a million people every 2 years? This is pure insanity

We need a huge jump in population to give a tax base for all the 'free' stuff our gov't gives us. The problem is the majority of these immigrants will just end up in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. I don' t think many of them are going to go live in some tiny town in Saskatchewan or Nova Scotia.

You need to redo your video, dude! You underplayed Alberta and overplayed Quebec and Ontario. Alberta was the only province to keep its books balanced during Trudeaus tyrannical reign of covid and crime is wayyyy lower than others. Also, yes it is an oil province but it was squashed by Ottawa and still came out on top. It's better living for families, jobs vary in high paying between the two main cities and the people are very down to earth and friendly. People have been fleeing the east to Alberta for its freedom from government overreach as well. So, you're out of touch here by a lot. Alberta has deserts, beaches, more gorgeous mountain ranges than BC, farmland, glaciers that never melt despite the globalists so called maniac calls of global warming, as much sunshine as Saskatchewan, forests with many trails and campgrounds, the list goes on. I was born in Ontario, lived in almost every province but by far Alberta is number 1. If you want the juiciest steaks that melt off your fork and onto your tongue it's world best! It's industry is kept here and not finished somewhere else like every other province. Not to mention, farms sell and produce every food and craft beer/ liquor at their gates! Alberta has survived zero taxing its citizens until federal taxes came into here through NDP and Liberals, education is the best in all levels, and the people and governments are more sane and level headed now more than ever. The best rodeos worldwide and festivals count everyday in Edmonton. Who does that? It's self sufficient on its own and is the crown jewel of Canada. It's got multiple canyons all through the rockies! Wapiti are protected and plentiful in parks and if you want the best fudge, go to Jasper! Candy shops fan their delicious aromas down the streets! The most beautiful lakes in the world are in those rockies! The images from mountains are mirrored year round in those numerous lakes! It's picturesque postcard images! Economy is better than others and although rents and costs of homes vary all over you can still get a pretty decent city dwelling or cabin by one of its many cottage home communities that have more to offer for families than any in Ontario with low fees, outdoor and indoor pools, playgrounds, golfing and more. Then there's West Edmonton Mall where you can spend just window shopping 8 hours of not even going to Fantasyland, Galaxyland and more. \nYou will see men in business suits sitting next to actual cowboys/ girls in bars and restaurants. Edmonton uses goats to trim their weeds and high grasses every summer accompanied by a sheep herder and mosquitoes are ZERO nearly. Then the sunlight doesn't quit until 11pm at night and up again at 5am in summer.\nAlberta has tons to offer.

As someone who has lived here 14 years and is currently going for their citizenship legally I am disgusted by this.

Hi from New York, this is terrible and to think this is going on with Indian international students in Toronto, GTA and it’s perpetrated by the Canadian government charging 5 times tuition and Indian-Canadian employers creating this living nightmare...is there no humanity left and it’s all about the money? This is truly heartbreaking, I feel so sorry for International Students who came here with dreams but were given something far below that. I am a Canadian born student, brought up and raised in Brampton but I made friends with many international students. I don't understand how International students have to pay 3-4x our tuition, cover their living expenses, and have work restrictions on their study permit. The truth is competion is everywhere and companies are competing for top students who go to credible universites. I don't see how international students are suppose to compete with these students when there is a shortage of high-paying jobs. I truly feel bad. I advise students to tell their stories to their younger siblings and cousins back home and prevent them from living a hard-working life with little reward. Advise them to complete their studies back home and find a job in big cities back home. As a domestic student I struggle to pay for my own expenses and I could not imagine if I did not have my parents support. This is fraud on another level!!!

Paying for 1/5th of what an international student pays is a privilege that a Canadian Citizen rightful enjoys. Education doesn’t come cheap. The international students’ parents don’t pay any income taxes that would go into subsidizing post secondary education. Don’t forget Canadians pay some of the highest level of income taxes in the world. Many of these underprivileged Punjabi students chose to the live in the cramped conditions are “being exploited” by their Punjabi landlords.

the part where the one student in India is asked why he wants to go in Canada and he says he wants a white collar job and the life he dreamed of which I would imagine entails a Canadian wife as well? In other words, shouldn't Canada try to attract people to do work in building homes and things we need instead of rent seeking industries like banking, insurance etc... that doesn't improve the lives of Canadians already born here (and in some cases go generations back)

Former international student in Canada, I just want to say one word, I will never return ever again. I started my own small business with friends in my own country now and living a peaceful and prosperous life. Will never ever return again. Word of advice to those wishing to go to Canada, you are doomed.

Most of these problems are not just Canadian problems but are immigrant problems and some are just developed nations problems , most people will face them in every country they go to!! The uk, us, Australia mention others are all expensive with just a 0.4 difference! Getting a Canadian passport and moving to another country which is not your native country will solve nothing and it’s not easy to move to a new country unless you have someone to sponsor you!! A Canadian passport will not allow you to work in the US or UK you will need sponsorship for a visa _ all it offers is a free visit visa for about 6 months I guess but not allowed to work! Work visas are complicated and depend more on skills than passport you hold! As a US citizen I can’t work in Canada visa free I can only visit_ the same with Canadians coming to the US or the UK ! \nFor the weather I feel you! We’re lucky In the US cos every type of weather you want you can get it without sacrificing living in a big city But other problems are quite similar everywhere! You have to walk around them and create ways to enjoy the beauty your country has to offer! Running away from from a country your a citizen of cos of loneliness or boredom is not a solution especially when you moving to a country your not even a resident of! Cos establishing residence is never easy unless you have a community there already! Otherwise it will be worse than where your running from!

I am transgender and out, basically broke the relationship with my family. I’m living alone in the US as an international student (CN citizen) and suffering from the living cost and tuition even though I have a part-time job, and I’m gonna lose it soon because I have to change my visa to a student visa that does not allow me to work outside of campus. I am thinking about transferring to a Canadian university because I’m poor and lonely without family anyway (lol), and I just can’t resist the temptation of starting my life again in a different place while healing my trauma. Moreover, it’s more immigrant-friendly (note I am still going through a visa change in the US), maybe I will not be in the daily fear of having to go back to China, where is definitely not trans-friendly. But I’m so anxious on the other hand. What if I end up unemployed; what if I run out of money…I’m simply uncertain about how to find somewhere queer-friendly to survive with a secured shelter and money enough for food. I’m sorting everything out…please let me know if you have any similar experiences in Canada. Anything can be very helpful.

So I think Canada is ranked 3rd best in the world to live in (I might be wrong but it's top 5 for sure). While Canada does have issues (like any other country in the world) What you outline highlights the privileged life you are living. You are correct in pointing out that the health care system is flawed, it is not perfect by all means but AT LEAST YOU ARE GETTING HEALTH CARE. Take the stats for example (I had the privilege of going to the hospital in Texas) My bill came to 3000 for a twisted ankle. They charged me over 500 dollars just for walking into the hospital. I'm not knocking that stats, but if you do not have money, you're fucked for health care. Instead of waiting 8 hours to see a doctor, you're now on Web MD trying to diagnose yourself. You are bitching about high taxes, how do you think Schools, Police and fire services, Emergency service hospitals etc etc etc get paid? through wishes and hope? You are again welcome to go anywhere else and enjoy whatever bs they have going they might have low taxes in other parts of the world but your going to have to pay for certain services you are taking for granted here. As Cost of living, if you live in Toronto or BC yes the cost of living is high, but at the same time, the average household income is high as well. I'm sorry minimum wage in most of Canada is roughly 15 dollars an hour, and the average incoming for most provinces is over 100k. I'm not sure what else to say on that subject :D As for things to do, seriously, stop living under a rock. Please go and travel Canada, to name a few things you can travel to Niagara, Go to Banff, Visit hot springs or enjoy any of our national parks. Not to mention all the multicultural festivals that take place. I guess what I'm trying to say here is, Canada is flawed and has its issues. However, It's a beautiful country and is a gem of a place to put roots down. I'm sorry you guys didn't feel that way.

I’ve always wanted to move to Canada and my sister is already living there but the weather is what’s keeping me from doing so. I live in the Middle East so we have the opposite problem, we can’t really go outside at 1 PM because it’s boiling hot and we only have two seasons. I visited few countries in Europe and fell in love with it, my goal now is to move there!

Bhai you have to take into account taxes as well … cost of living is high in Canada… focus on building new skills as soon as you arrive in fact come equipped from home if you can as those courses would be a lot cheaper then here… you have to go above minimum pay otherwise life is daily struggle to make ends meet

The story of the Russian guy going back to Russia to avoid taxes didn't age well. I remember watching this video in 2021 and thinking that the higher taxes are worth it because you are essentially buying safety. It doesn't matter if the income tax of your home country is lower if the local currency keeps devaluating, if you can't buy what you want because importing is hard and expensive or if your country is simple just not a safe place to live. Now with the war and the sanctions, your Russian friend must be having a really hard time; borders closed, the ruble is nearly worthless and he's probably trying to flee the country to avoid being drafted, leaving any real estate behind.

I live in Montreal. Americans come here to party with the legal drinking age being 18 yrs old, instead of the American 21.? Also, youre not obligated to go to a seniors residence when youre older. The USA is getting a lot of people from Africa and South and Central America, and I imagine many will go back because Americans do have to work hard and if you come from a country that has warm weather year-round it is going to be a huge shock. Small businesses are hard to keep because everything is so expensive. I live in the United States ?? and mostly I enjoy Canada ?? with my family alot,its a beautiful place to enjoy creation,I will better spend my American dollars ? in Canada which gives me more satisfaction than going down south to Florida. Now staying n working in Canada long-term that am not sure but trust me , its a beautiful country ❤️.

Yes, I love Canada but the taxes are crazy! We only visited and paid multiple taxes on items, was crazy. Eight hours to see a doctor in ER isn't bad, here in America you can be in the ER for 24 hours or longer depending on why you are there and which hospital you go to, so please don't go to a county hospital, I have left went home or to another one. We learned that the cost of living is much higher and the cost of food, especially if you eat out, and the cost of gas was way higher than in America.Thanks for the information, very informative.

Agree, Canada is the most BORING country I have ever lived in. A robotic country where everywhere you go its the same big plaza with big brand box trash retailers (Walmart) and fast food shops. Nothing unique or quality and incredibly expensive!

Boring? Try leaving your living room and visiting the second biggest country in the world? There is so much to do here if your version of fun isn't just going to clubs. I did not listen to the entire video but sharing my story.\n\nI came to Toronto Canada it's been 22 years and I will leave here and die here despite its expensive to live but people stay where they belong, where their soul is at peace and where there is their happiness.\n\nI moved here with my abusive husband at that time. Back home as divorce was taboo, I would have remained married n suffer. He moved on and left me and my child of 5 years old on the street but thanks to Canada, no one judged me, no one talked about me. I did not ask or took any help cause I worked 2 jobs for few years to make ends meet. With time things got better, now my child has graduated and working.\nHe worked n paid for his studies.\nI have not been discriminated or faced racism despite I come from African continent and of colour but my son has as he was young but he learnt from it.\nCanada gave me my freedom, my peace, my happiness and I am no longer discrimated by my own religion, culture and people who thinks if you are lighter you are prettier.\nWomen were and are still considered secondary compared to men.\nHere we are equal.\nHere they love and respect me for who I am and not based on looks.\nBack home my c-section was f up and I am still paying the consequences. I guess you are living in a the wrong country. Go back to your home then. You live within your means. Buy what you can afford and live where you can afford. Some of family live in cold weather in the States and most of us lives on Brompton I assume you must be from Nigera.

This is the reason why most Asian that come from the upper middle income and high-income countries only came to Canada for citizenship. After that, they go back to their countries to work and live. Especially those that retired. My parent and their friends already bought the property back home, and with the retirement fun they receive here, they have a really good life back home. They are even able to afford their maids. I just feel sorry for the senior that retired here in Canada.

The price of living is going up all over the world, the last 6yrs has become very pricey in all western countries. Hospitals are overrun in major cities in Canada that's very true, but not in smaller locations. Boring (are you crazy ? lolol) I completely disagree. You just don't know where to go lol ... however everything you do in Canada cost money ?. And I completely agree when you mention that Canada won't allow you to become filthy rich (very disappointed about that one) ... There is racism, but not just from the predominant Canadians. There have been many times when the racism is from someone new to Canada. But i also know as a black person i will experience this anywhere in the world.
