My best friend is a college professor, who applied work visa 6 years ago, but still hasn’t been approved. I happen to be one American that has fallen on hard times. Got injured, am now unemployed, and no place to live. I applied for assistance as I have paid my taxes for 40+ years now and found out I am at the bottom of a huge waiting list.
