Im Canadian with a lot of health issues. Many trips to the ER, the longest I have had to wait, was about 15 mins. And if it was real serious, I was seen by a doctor immediately. I hear people complain about wait time, but the problem we have is that many people take advantage of the ER instead of making an apt with their family Dr. So if it's not an emergency and you go to the E.R. you will wait.

Just like you have to protect your southern boarder the USA needs to have accountability at the northern border. So what’s with the double standard. It’s not all on Canada. It’s just when you’re going through surgeries like that and you’re taking hormones that are injections that are not naturally produced in your body then yeah it makes a lot of sense. Canada is full and can't handle more people, the infrastructure which was built until 90s can handle 50 people but there are 100 now. People move to countries with wild dreams fantasising that everything will be easier and they will be richer. A lot of people just can't adapt to a new country. Some do extremely well. I know a lot of entrepreneurs that have gone to the US and Canada to start businesses and then they move back to their countries in South America or India to live an amazing lifestyle and travel a lot. I suppose it's nice to accumulate wealth faster and know that you have a Canadian passport to fall back on if you need to get out? I'm part first nations. I do not live in Canada for related reasons - but I love my country and what we stand for.
