We simply do not have the resources to continue doing that . Our financial situation is worsening as we print more money to allocate toward other countries. Furthermore, 7% of the $33 trillion of the US debt is owed by other countries , including China . Our funds need to be utilized for our own benefit before being given away. We have veterans on the streets, the elderly suffering because SS isn't covering their basic needs , school system thatvis failing , health insurance unaffordable by most. But what surprised me is how on his 1st day he tried to make a joke, smth. “We, Canadians, have nothing to apologize for, except for Celine Dion”. He startled to giggle, searching our faces for a sign of approval. There was none! We love Celine!
