really sad to know. even indians are staying illegal in south east asian poor countries. look like they just want to get out of india hook or crook. canadians need to securitize whom they let in to their country. look like anyone with out any documentation can enter canada shame.

I am an Indian, came here for ML research. Was unpleasantly surprised to witness so many unskilled Indians ruining the country. Uneducated, can't speak English, rude, unkempt. Like I love my country but I also love the country I immigrated to. I know tons of Indian friends like me who feel the same way. We all feel like we scammed ourselves into coming here. Every doordash and uber guy in Toronto is an Indian guy, who probably came here through a diploma mill. Why did Canada let this happen? Weirdly enough, even now, it's easier to get into Canada as a Khalistani terrorist or an LMIA abuser with a fake IELTS score and fake college admission letter than honest Indians who come here for higher education at good schools. Anyone reading this and from India, just go to the US man. At least despite the H1B lottery they respect your time more than Canada and you earn way more in 2-3 years than you would here in 6 years.\n\nPs : I singled out Indians since I am one but Palestinian refugees with their never ending incessant virtue signalling marches, Ukrainians with their virtue signalling marches and destruction of property, middle eastern refugees etc are all part of the problem. It's like they came here to bring their problems with them.

I see no flaw in their logic,\n\nThe truth is that I believe that the bad strategies implemented by the government, and the lack of regulation, harmed everyone who wants to do things well. I don't want to offend anyone, but it is totally illogical that a country as popular as Canada has not put these measures in place before, which are not brutal, they are basic. \n\nThink that most countries in the world do not allow an international student to work 24 hours a day. Furthermore, the level of fraud for admission to colleges and universities is very high, many students do not even go to classes...and do not even pass the language filters. We went there in 2023 March as temporary residents, came back last month, i.e. October 2024. Me and my husband both had jobs there, not white collar jobs though. Every point mentioned in the video is so true and valid. We saw/faced/experienced all of these and decided to come back. First, they might fight back by adding their own tariffs on U.S. goods, which would hurt American farmers and businesses that sell products to those countries. How exactly do you expect me to fit in? I've spoken English and lived here since the age of 2. I celebrate Halloween and Christmas but not Pride Month, and I don’t eat Canadian food regularly. Canada should take care of their homeless people first before accepting refugees from the United States since Trump won the election where he will deport any illegal immigrants. My question is: How did these illegals obtain jobs? I’m sure Trump had illegals working for him. Does Trump realize that businesses will suffer when these people are deported because there won’t be anyone hired to do their jobs? Sending these people back to where they came from will cost the tax payers millions because Trump certainly won’t be paying for their fares.

Its the cost of living that is creating such hard views of life around them. If people weren't struggling they wouldn't be looking to blame anyone for it. Our government has a lot of work to do to turn Canada around.

All the government has to do is give these pricks a 3 months grace period after which anyone overstays gets added to a Black list which means no permanent residency even if they spend the rest of their lives here and any child born to these pricks does not qualify for automatic citizenship plus fines for every day of overstaying with no maximum limit and denial of acceptance even if they leave at a later time and apply from overseas including family reunions. Conservatives will assemble a legal committee to revoke the status of anyone who switched from visitor, fake student etc... to permanent resident and order them deported. Trump is not joking and he will kick out millions in just 1 year because he has robust means and eager sheriffs to round them like chicken and ship them out.

It's not the USs fault our immigration system is useless. Nor is it Trump's fault. The blame falls solely on the Canadian government and Trudeau and the woke LiberalNDP agenda. We should be doing the same. If they knew they'd be sent right back to where they came from they wouldn't even bother coming to Canada. Legal immigration is different. Opening your borders to anyone and everyone is an invasion. We have more than enough to worry about at home.

The problem is already horrible, and no offence to anyone but I think deportation is our only option, I am 17 and I literally won’t be able to own a house, I am a Canadian and a citizen and yet we are getting replaced by all these immigrants, people are starting to call my city Mumbai India.\n\nI think when I turn 18 or 19 I might move to rural Canada because I know lots of Canadians and my buddies are there, I don’t know what else to do at this point

the main concept of any foreign govt giving permanent residency is whether you fulfil the need for them, so this is good for people who have some skills and can positively contribute but anyone who just wants to go for the sake of going there is not going to get anything , they better study and then return .. this is nothing different from UK, its very hard to get Tier 2 visa in UK unless your job is in shortage or in the occupation list but the difference is that Canada has been very lenient in the past allowing people clearing just 10 years of schooling also getting student visas, this has not happened in UK as people come to study bachelor's or master when they have completed full 12+ years of schooling in their home country.. may be it was needed then in Canada but now its not the same case..so if govt is taking this step its first in the interest of the local people including the ones who have gained citizenship with proper procedure..

And full disclaimer I live in Victoria, BC so I can share my POV from the Canadian side:\n\nThere's toomuch of low skilled cheap labour coming in from Punjab and other countries like Nigeria, Philippines, etc. Its gotten sooo bad now that even Indians living in Canada are feeling like this is not what we came for.\n\nI can't even start with how bad the immigration has gotten, people can barely and I mean barely speak English and they are working for all possible low skilled jobs. Tim Hortons, Uber delivery, Uber Cabs, Petrol pumps I mean what is going on.\n\nRight now its getting to Canadians, and you need to understand that Canadians need these low skilled jobs for themselves too but employers are finding extremely cheap labour from other places to replace Canadians.\n\nSo if you ask me this move is good, it will surely hurt the skilled labour class too but its needed. Imagine have a million immigrants coming in with a country that has a population of 40 million.\n\nThe infrastructure comes to a stand still, housing is ruined, food inflation begins. \n\nHonestly thanks to Diploma mills, Asylum seekers and gangs from Punjab, its honestly gotten bad from the Indian perspective. Now add to this others coming in from Africa and South East Asia and you can see this country get worse honestly.\n\nThis isn't hate against anyone, its just facts.

I also came to Canada in 2006 as an immigrant with my 2 bags and started my new life with empty handed which almost all Indians had started on their time. Yes it’s very hard to adopt other cultures 100% for first generation. But have you think how this new immigrants have their own house and good jobs or business. Why their kids achieved higher education without any loan because their parents worked 7 days without looking around so called culture. They believe in work hard and focus on their family and kids and in extra time visit temple or Gurudwara just to keep live their believes. Do you know how many places where you find 3 times free hot food for everyone in Brampton at Gurudwara and Temple without looking at his originality. \nDon’t think the immigrants are coming here are poor in their country or helpless like refugees. Most of are millionaires in India but in Indian culture the stupid thoughts is to earn for next 7 generations so because of that greediness they work here 7 days and that’s why they are not homeless. As they have some values of their Indian culture they have not drug addictions.\nNot 100% Indian are good and loyal or honest. There are few which you can find in any culture or religion.\nSo in bottom line immigrants are here because of govt policies and invitations. They are not came as refugees. You can’t forced anyone where they have to stay and in how many percentage. Many people don’t live in GTA or ran away from GTA because they can’t afford house and can’t stand in competitive market. This isn't just a white or black thing it's an out of control immigration system where people use loopholes in the system to gain residency. This anti-immigration isn't isolated in fact most immigrants who's lived in Canada all their lives have expressed deep concern that the government is letting in too many from one nation and the lopsided admittance is part of the concern. The metrics of the majority of new immigrants come from the Middle East and India how can anyone not notice the concern that many have been expressing for a decade. Canadians aren't against immigrants it's that we didn't expect to just let anyone in without actually knowing how to speak English or have etiquette and follow laws. Many have concerns that many of the new comers can't even speak English yet they have license to drive and how do we get around most bend the rules or the law. Myself I've notice a skyrocketing scam scheme and how can you not equate that to the rise in our broken immigration policy. The last time I heard you had to have certain criteria to be considered to immigrate and why is that some countries like from the South Pacific you need to know English have money in the bank and a skill or degree on a list of acceptable qualifications. So many who can't even read or write English have jobs, drive a car, then to make matters worse have housing yet we have a crisis? Most Canadians see the pattern and most are educated enough to know there is something to be said, loopholes and when they find it they abuse the system.

ABSOLUTELY CORRECT but do note that these Indians are not coming for free, on average close to 90,000 Indian Students come to Canada to study with an average 2 year program, and each one of them spends at least CAD 40,000 for each year! Now if you do the math they inject about 3.6 Billion dollars every year! Which makes International student one of the top 10 source of revenue for Canada! That is the hard reality check for anyone who thinks these Indians in Canada are all undeserving people.....they just compete better than most white Canadians in their home ground whilst quite literally in every stretch there are more facilities available to Native Canadians then there are for the people of international origin: International students' annual spending directly and indirectly contributed CAN$7.4 billion in tax revenue for the Canadian government. How many part-time jobs do they expect these people to work to pay for rent? Finding a full-time job is almost impossible. Coming to Canada exspecting the country to look after them? The companies take hours away from their employees and create another part-time position, then gets a bonus from the government as part of the new employee wages are paid. Same hours for the company but paying less wages and keeping the profits. Who is does this benefit? Not the workers that then need another part-time job to feed their kids. Filling up schools with people who do not met the education requirements with bogus paperwork. Who are then forced to attend a strip mall schools. Are their diplomas even valid? No proper place to live and using foodbanks. Anyone with this paperwork should be refused at airport not supported. Most are coming from counties that have schools. Because really would you want them managing your money, running the country or are they going to work at Tim Hortons? No wait their fellow countrymen will then use them in scams. Wake up they are making a cast system here.

Diversity wasn't our strength, Canadian values were. Don't ever let anyone tell you canada doesn't have culture. We had a bright culture of men bejng men, woman being woman, kindness, kindness to your fellow neighbour's, pride our national game of hocker. Love of winter and al things nature related. We are the north, and that was the culture we built in for generations. Immigrants need to to adapt and learn our culture that's why you can't let in That many from ones country all at once. They never assimilate they just make pockets of India everywhere.

Undoing the damage that has been done over the last decade would take a long time. Beginning with a reduction to 25-50k MAX and NO refugees or asylum seekers. Under safe third country, we are obligated to take NO-ONE from anywhere. And, time to start Trump level deportation. Everyone that has committed ANY criminal offense, GONE. Anyone that does not have a job to sustain them and their family, GONE!! Extreme actions are the only hope. I spent years learning German, traveled throughout Germany, took courses in Germany to get up to between the B1/2 level, have a college degree, look German, German heritage… and was consistently treated like I didn’t belong and shouldn’t stay. With the skills and certifications I’ll have at the end of my graduate education, I will be able to make 2-3x as much in my home country as I could in Germany with fewer taxes and lower home prices. Why would anyone other than a low-skilled worker with few options ever want to move to Germany? The US, Canada, the UK, and even France are far better destinations for skilled workers, and yet the German bureaucracy still acts like every Italian and Turk has nothing better to do than learn German and work at a VW factory in Stuttgart.\n\nReally, Germany and the Germans just don’t get it, and at this point I doubt they ever will. They didn’t even want the Russlanddeutsch back after the end of the Cold War.

In Canada, there is not enough housing and jobs are scarce, especially for anyone at the entry level or basic wage. We've been absolutely swamped. This is not the fault of the immigrants or the students, it's the fault of our extremely stupid and short sighted government. Most of those immigrants I encounter are good people, polite and considerate. But some, well I understand where the complaints about rude and inconsiderate behaviour come from, because it only takes a few bad experiences to get people angry. I've experienced it myself, but most of it (from my experience) seems to be from students who are very loud and impolite on public transit. The housing situation here is INSANE, prices are sky high and very little to choose from. A lot of seniors now can only afford to rent a room (after having worked all their lives and very little to show for it), and prices are up about 50% from only 5 years ago. The government says inflation is a fraction of what it is in real life, and living expenses have exploded. As I understand it, some people made a lot of money offering services to bring students and low wage workers in, with no consideration to the damage they were doing to all of us who were born and raised here - they wanted to make their million dollars. Another problem is that once someone arrives here, what they find is NOT what they were led to believe. What students and immigrants are told they need to live here is an absolute lie, living here in Canada has become very expensive. Many workers are severely under paid, and never even see the legal minimum wage, and the problem with that is, almost no Canadian will be hired on to those jobs - the reasons are that imported foreign workers will work below minimum wage because they are trapped here, and the Canadians already know that they will only struggle if they take jobs that pay so poorly. So yes, a lot of Canadians are VERY angry, and you really can't blame them. Once again, the Canadian government is responsible for much of this, and crooked employers who are willing to take advantage of low wage labour. It's an absolute mess.

The big issue with mass immigration is there has been next to no quality control. The indians that arrived a decade ago say the indians arriving today suck because they're of a different social class. A decade ago immigrating to Canada wasn't easy so anyone who did come here was typically educated and of higher quality. I think the majority of indians are good people just trying to make it but if you bring in millions just viewing them as $ cows of course there are going to be a percentage of bad ones. A greater issue with this too is now the country is in such disarray that anyone who is a potential quality immigrant might not want to come here.
