wow, Trudeau's speech is like a war speech: so powerful, so clear, intelligent, sharp, coherent, brave. Can he maybe become the president of the USA and bring Canada & the USA under one flag? No need for mr orange anymore to babble & threaten to annex Canada.

I see a LOT of emotions here in the comments from people who like to tout where they're from for some really weird reason. I imagine to represent the soap box they stand upon. I find it ironic people are giving underhanded insults to Donald Trump by comparing how Trudeau speaks, yet I can almost guarantee those same people brag about how they refuse to listen to a word Donald Trump says. So its a really silly way to try to insult someone. Also just checked some of my stocks daily returns. Up over 2%. So he was wrong within the first 10 minutes. I suspect the market will become more bullish as some of the companies that have made deals to create factories in the US complete them and start churning out products made locally.

Canada is being too gentle in its initial response. Why not go full throttle right from the get go. It’s shameful what “the most powerful country in the world”,”the land of the free” or whatever arrogant nickname the USA wants to go by. I would imagine, that if their Conservative Party Leader Poilievre wins the upcoming election, he will be able to straighten out many of the troubles that have been caused by the World Economic Forum Puppets and their agenda. It's easier up there bcuz that border isn't as secure as the southern border. I guarantee you their statistics for fentynal crossing in via Canada is wrong. This pretend “security threat,” allows Trump to circumvent congressional oversight and undermine constitutional norms. Canada's historical contributions to the United States are extensive, including WWI, fighting Hitler in WWII for two years before they joined the fight, declaring war against Japan WWII after Pearl Harbour before America did, was 25% of D-Day’s landings, support during the Iranian hostage crisis, after 9/11, in Afghanistan, and during natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina and California wildfires. However, Canada is now being treated transactionally, with a lack of respect to a historical friend and ally.

The USA president Trump wants everything to be manufactured and sourced locally from the United States of America. He knows what happened during COVID-19 and what problems the world experienced because of a global supply chain. Now while it doesn't really make sense with Canada who is right next door the Canadians were given the opportunity to integrate into the USA so there could be some motive in that. And why wouldn't they want that anyway? Just remove the Canadian border and everyone becomes the USA. Why not?
