There are many other draw backs in Canada. \n\nUSA is more difficult than Canada. Nothing is free in USA.\n\nWe can go on and on with this discussion. \n\n\nWhat I will say is that in my personal opinion India is the best country to live in. There are many government hospitals which give free treatment. Government is providing free rations and houses.\n\nPlus in Dental college one can get free treatment to some extent. \n\nOverall one cannot compare the facilities available in India with any other country.

For those who wander ?\n\nI've been living in Canada for the past two years, and while it has its challenges, there are also many positives. Back in India, my career had just started, and I felt stuck in my job. It was a great company, and I was happy to some extent, but I needed a change. Moving to Canada gave me the opportunity to explore and realize that there's so much more to the world than just my home country.\n\nAlthough Canada might not be the ideal place for everyone to settle down, fees is expensive but it really depends on your personality and outlook on life. If you're in your early 20s and you believe in yourself that you can MAKE IT and pay back the fees to the bank or your parents then, I highly recommend coming to Canada, the USA, or the UK. Travel to different places, learn new languages, explore different cultures and meet new people. Eventually, when you feel ready to settle down, choose the place you liked the most or return to your home country. But until then, embrace the journey and wander.

UK is no different - it is also having similar issues as Canada. In fact I'm moving back from the UK next week after living here for 3.5 years. UK once used to be called the golden empire (even post colonialism) and it used to be a very promising, stable and prosperous land - not anymore. India is genuinely at a sweet spot right now - if we play our cards well for the next 3-4 decades (1-2 generations), the entire game will change! And I have personally worked in the NHS and I can certify that all those waiting lines and decreasing quality of care etc. is all true.

I'm surprised to see Quebec rated NO. 1. But beside being the most taxed place in North America and the bad governments, it's really a good place to live. I think it's the best place in the world to live, for a trans person like me.

I agree with the person who commenced at the 8-minute and 20th-second. Some Indians are in Canada, not to study, but to gain permanent residency. Indians look at the dollar, which is superior to the Indian rupee. The dollar attracts Indians to work and live in Canada so they can live a better life than in India. However, some Indians should acknowledge and respect that they are in Canada for a particular time and must leave once that time is over. Another thing is that some of these Indians do not adapt to the Canadian culture; instead, some disrespect it and take advantage of the loopholes in the Canadian system.

I was born BC, Canada 40 years ago. In my 31 years of working, the minimum/general hourly wage has gone from $7 to $17/hour. In my 24 years of renting, a one bedroom apartment went from between $500-$600/month to $1700+/month if you're lucky. Most businesses make too little to pay a living wage and governments make too much off of people trying to get rid of questionably gained money to care about the lives/best interests of the average person.

My grandfather was freedom fighter, he lived in Chittagong (now in Bengladesh) .. he was deeply connected with his land.. he always mourns about the partition... He vividly remembered how in one night his muslim neighbours threaded him to leave... He was noble person...

They have little to none concept of living in society. They left Punjab to pursue a better life, but they want to live like are still in Punjab. \n\n- They scam their way in. Banks in India will lend them money to come to Canada, they buy their IELTS results. 99.9% of all the students I dealt with who got caught cheating on their exams were from India.\n\n- The people we are receiving in Canada are members of a separatist movement. If we got a million Indian people in the past years, that would mean around extra 4 million people over 50 years old. That’s 10% of the entire population. \n\n- They are scammers. You said yourself: To be eligible for a mortgage , you need to make at least $250k per year. They are landing in Canada with no money, and buying houses right away, because they have a network of people forging financial documents, and the also have people infiltrated in banks to approve these processes. Not me saying, that was national news. \n\n- They are extremely racist. They will openly tell you they only rent/hire/do business with Punjab people. One thing I have noticed the most that nobody is addressing is. A lot of the people are coming are young single men. I predict an extreame increase in sexual assault. They are living in mass housing and working hard to make money but men are men and eventually have sexual needs. I know it seems like I’m talking a lil crazy but I have seen on the days off they sit outside in groups since no personal space at home. Mark my words rape etc is going to sky rocket.

Love your videos, however I must say that you seem to be very naive about the reality, severity and frequency of racism in the US, no matter the area. It's not really your place as a white man to say that that person's complaints and fears regarding that are exaggerated (especially considering they had lived there for 6 years lol they didn't pull that sentiment out of thin air). While Canada is by no means free of racism, it is absolutely a deciding factor for a lot of minorities and for good reason unfortunately.

Everything is fragile you know. When you allow certain foreigners in a country and teach them to adapt to the culture, they get the best of living in a developed country by following their own personal beliefs. On the other hand, if you allow a huge amount of population at the same time from 3rd world countries, they become the majority, start doing politics, they don't adapt to new things, ultimately they will come up with extreme religious beliefs, their old culture, corruption, greed and can ultimately drag it down to a 2nd world country! Every country has more or less potential, the reason behind being so poor is connected to many reasons but at least 50% is because of corruption, their way of thinking, thus, mass immigration can never be a solution! Developed countries' leaders do not care about any people, they want people to keep their country's position economically high and now distracting the young generation with transgender issues with the name of so-called freedom. Maybe Western people now should start working on their life rather than taking everything for granted, maybe changing gender is not to be proud of or the only way to get attention but rather do something for your country, work, be involved in politics, be aware of life, travel with purpose, stop worshipping celebrities and understand the consequences of life in every step and you can be replaced by anywhere anytime!

Why is Pierre afraid of the immigrant issue? I think - that they will all be labeled of being racists because they don't want other cultures and more people in the country. That's what it is. Part-time burger flippers, coffee pourers, cashiers, etc... are excellent jobs for teenagers to learn and earn money and move up from there. Back in the late 70s and 80s into the early 90s, retail jobs were an excellent supplement income for a family and or single person because it was worth it - today, not so much.

We are destroying our social safety net so large battery plants owners can import entire families because we do not have proper trained staff. As a Canadian Veteran I don't blame immigrants leaving the country. Personally I wish I could have retired in Germany, as the present government has totally ruined Canada, they've divided the country, they're taxing the average Canadian to homelessness. Food bank use has sky rocketed, Canada has become totally unaffordable to a LOT of Immigrants and actual Canadians. a very SAD state we live in.

We also need to crack down on the aggressive sales practices of immigration consultants in developing nations like India. Let's not forget the big culprits behind this: the admissions officers of the colleges, who fully endorse these practices to meet their revenue targets by any means possible, all under the watchful eyes of the government and IRCC.\n\nI've witnessed this firsthand. I openly challenge those consultants and Canadian college admission officers to be upfront with prospective and future students and tell them in person, before accepting their applications, that a study permit does not guarantee permanent residency in Canada. Explain the rules behind that and see what happens next—people will stop coming to Canada altogether. Consultants and colleges need to be honest with their prospective students and not just include those important facts in a fine print under a bunch of paperwork. \n\nAnd my god, the programs most colleges sell—useless diplomas that are of no use in their home countries either. My girlfriend has been living in canada illegal for the las 15 yrs. She was deported 10 yrs ago for working with someone else's S.I. N. after immigration was called. Immigration told my company that the only way she was able to stay at my company if they were able to pay her cash. 17 yrs later and she works for the same company for cash. Tax free. I go with her, and others to bodegas in Toronto where they cash all cheques in the back room at the end of the bodegas. No questions asked. The reason Immigration was called was because the S.I.N she was caught with had $10.000 thousand unpaid taxes over the years. And the person that let her use her card for $300 each month needed the card to go on welfare. No one had to pay the taxes. My company today is 90% illegal workers. All in hotels all over Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga you name it.

If you look at all the fast food places in GTA all the employees 98% are India workers. You walk in Amazon warehouse 99% are India workers. Once a person from India is hired they bring in their family and friends. Other manufacturers hire immigrants and you will see 99% are the same culture. Canadians are being pushed out and only have countryside to live and work. In Canada.

Canada is better in every way especially getting to live in the GTA or BC whichever is ur jam, i personally love vibrant big cities so i choose GTA but obviously NYC and SoCal or even Chicago living makes it better to be in the US

These students are from very wealthy families who often have housemaids and servants to do domestic chores and who can afford to pay ridiculous student tuition for a second-rate Canadian post-secondary education. There are top Indian schools where it costs maybe 1/8th the cost and the education is very, very good (e.g. Indian Institutes of Technology) and certainly better than what they are getting in these second-rate diploma mills in Ontario. Moreover, there are very good tech jobs in India in cities like Bangalore. What these students are really after is Canadian citizenship, through a pathway that does not require strong qualifications. They were promised that by Indian immigration consultants. With Canadian citizenship, it is much easier to travel and live in the US, where many of them want to go (and some are even now entering illegally). \nA second reason is that these younger adults want to live independently from their parents. Many of them arriving in Canada are living on their own or with other students, for the first time in their lives, and are enjoying a lot more freedom from Indian social norms such as not being able to date people of a different religion or sexual orientation, or to marry the person of their choice instead of having parents involved. Three or four generations ago, when a lot of immigrants came after WWII, those from India were coming to large research universities or engineering firms and had a job or full fee waiver or university fellowship waiting for them. They were much more qualified and went on to be doctors, professors, business people and other professionals. This is what largely composed the Indian diaspora in Canada, until this wave of students brought along by the current government which admitted over 200K Indian students -- per year.

I’m a Canadian nurse and I lived in the US for 10 years during my career. I did it when I was young to gain work experience and travel with friends. It gave me a lot of insight in how it feels to live in both countries. I’ve been a nurse and patient in both counties so I also know how it feels to work, live and be a resident in both. \n\nI cannot articulate enough how it has confirmed to me how fortunate I am to be Canadian. The perks to living in the US were very superficial and frivolous things that matter very little in the broad scheme of things,….which I see as more restaurant chains, cheaper restaurant food, more shopping options, etc. As a young person when I lived there,…those things seemed amazing but matter far less as I get older. \n\nWhen I lived there, I paid a fraction of the income taxes that I paid in Canada but it’s only short term gain for long term pain. The cost of health care, the amounts of gov funded benefits (disability, EI, pension, etc) in the US makes it well worth paying taxes to offset these things as in Canada. I have had cancer 3 times in 5 years and I’ve not paid a cent for treatment, scans, surgery, etc in Canada. My employer held my job for 2 years and I received long term disability of 70% of my yearly wages and my employer paid my full pension and benefits as I was off of work. After 2 years, my cancer returned and was deemed incurable so I will continue to receive this pay and benefits until I’m 65 and can retire as I can no longer work. I have no financial worries as I battle cancer. \n\nTo contrast,…my US employer was a world reknowned hospital that had excellent pay and benefits. Had I been working there when I was diagnosed with cancer, I would only have gotten full pay for 6 weeks until my sick time and vacation time was used up. Then I was eligible for a fraction of my income for 3 months, which would not be enough to live on. I would not have had my pension paid. After that, I’d receive no more pay and my employer would hold my job without pay for 6 months and then I’d be let go. My cancer required nearly 2 years off of work so after 5 months of this minimal pay, I’d have no income, no job and no benefits with a new pre existing condition to ensure that I’d have a snowballs chance in hell of getting future coverage. Meanwhile during that 5 months of some pay, I’d still need to pay huge costs of treatment despite having insurance but that would disappear after I was let go from my job. I’d have to return to work during my treatment just to afford to continue it. I have many US friends that had a similar cancer that worked throughout to cover basic cancer care while I was able to recuperate without working or fearing being unable to pay. There is nothing comparable to this when you are sick. It is everything!\n\nSadly, many of my American friends are very ill informed on how health care works in other countries and don’t see the shortcomings in their own. Ironically though, they are willing to argue it without proper information so I often find that bizarre. While lived there I felt as though I was in a bubble where the only news that I saw was US news. I saw no info or minimal about Canada in my whole time there,…aside from falsehoods about health care to scare people away from seeking change. “Canadians are all dying while waiting”, “they are all coming to the US for care”, “they pay 80% income tax” etc. All propaganda,…some from politicians or those that should know better. It was truthfully mind boggling to me how educated people could know so little about the world. It almost felt as though they heard so much propaganda about how terrible other places were while only having knowledge of the US, that it ensured that things would stay the same without anyone wanting beneficial changes to dysfunctional policies (like health care, cost of meds, lack of gun regulations, etc). It’s very bizarre.

The true comparison/ difference in earning and saving differences between same job type india and Canada will be huge if a person saves 30 lakhs INR in 30 years working in india compared same period in Canada 3 Cr INR savings minimum. Similarly comparing the quality of food huge differences in Canada will be best food, air , safety, and living conditions. Canada bad is the weather, less/ separation of relatives socializing, and loneliness

I personally have a high standard of living in Canada. But I live in Edmonton where you can get a very nice home for the average income.

I agree, the high prices of daily spendings on food and groceries is due to lack of competition.\n\nI realised this even in Europe ,particularly France. There is absolutely no logic behind those high prices of daily items in France when people can easily move to warmer climates, live in world class modern cities like Singapore or some city in China or those in South East Asia and spend much, much less on those without compromising on real quality.\n\nWhat i mean by real quality is maintenance of quality which ensures proper sampling and testing of those items are conducted regularly and proper rules are followed in production and business and consumers are protected from health hazards and sabotage. I think most of the rest are just unnecessary decorations in name of maintenance of quality. That is wrong on so many fronts , biggest is on business ethics and it hammers on any kind of Christian value which i know of.\n\nOligarchy or monopoly is a major problem i feel. Compared to france , Germany appears much more on right track from outside though I do not have personal experience.

Real estate agents are the biggest culprits in the rise of prices. I’ve been there several times as telling me my house is worth hundreds of thousands more or we can say exaggerated by 30% or more then my house is on the market for a year which is nota big deal for an agent they have 40 other listings and access to more moneymakers , I’ve sold my last 2 homes personally within days or weeks which were reasonably priced not overpriced this made everyone happy . How about to require new immigrants coming in to satisfy some minimal obligations: they must be literate in English or/and French. They cannot come with a criminal record on the books. They cannot have chronic illnesses requiring lengthy or prolonged hospitalization, at the expense of the country. They must have some sort of vocational background: they must be skilled in a job or a vocation, specifically in cyber technology, financial arena, teaching, industrial experience above the level of manual or piece labor. And they must have some kind of financial backing of their own; money in the bank, relatives already in Canada with whom they might live and share expenses. Canada can rightfully close its doors to any immigrant with a prison record-esp. in violent crimes or theft; to any person coming to its doors with only the shirt on their backs and a large family, and to those who are illiterate in either French or English (or both). Nor should Canada feel itself bound and obligated to admit to its territory, as new citizens, anyone coming from an Asian community bringing with them a culture alien to the religion of its own citizenry.

It is expected that non-muslim environment is not suitable for muslim people, the same goes the other way too. Western people and Asian people who visit Muslim countries feel like they don’t belong there. So, it’s quite logical that a Muslim person would love to move to a Muslim country. I am very proud of your decision! Hope you will find a great place to live in. Hopefully this example will spread to other Muslims too.

Little late to the conversation, but i only recently discovered this channel. I can agree with the majority of opinions in general, politics, guns, healthcare etc are all better here in Canada. Sure there may be safe pockets in the US but that’s not typically an issue in Canada. You don’t need to strategize where to live here based on that stuff, but may need to take into account the weather as it drastically varies within Canada. \nMoving to the US would typically be based on a job opportunity and likely wouldn’t provide much choice in location - go where the work is and unless it’s opening a small shop somewhere or working in a rural setting, you’re likely going to be in a bigger city where the majority of the violence is. Even so, with laws like ‘stand your ground’ you could get shit anywhere if you piss off the wring person. In Canada, you might yell at each & flip them off, then you just walk away without concern of being shot. You might get jerseyed though. ?

This immigrants are mostly from one indian state ie Punjab. In Punjab every young person just have to dream i.e. to move to Canada. Even Indians from other indian state dint want to live in Brampton anymore, Let me tell u most indians dont want to leave in isolated community but want to leave in mixed community with local people and adopting their culture. But ur Canadian govt policies and support towards khalistaani movement make many punjabi people to move to canada. I live in Bangladesh. If I want private healthcare, I can book an appointment today and possibly see the doctor this evening for $5-$7 per session. The really really good doctors? The professor / vip level ones? $10-$15.\nIf I need to do tests, I'll get em done the same day and probably get the results the day after.\n\nThe government ones? ¢10 but then I would be standing in a line for like 2 hours.\nIn my hometown alone there are 35-40 private hospitals. It's a suburb-ish kinda town. There is also one semi-giant 500 bed government hospital. Most services are free there except AC cabins.\n\nI personally don't wish to go to Canada.

I’m one of those new immigrants, originally from China. I’d like to share my point of view on this subject. For immigrants, sometimes the number one reason to move to another country is the harshness of their home country. In my case, China is not a pleasant place to live - everywhere is overcrowded, housing is insanely expensive, and job opportunities are mostly concentrated on big cities. So, if a young person like myself stayed in China, my only option to make a living is to join the rat race with another million people, work 60 hours a week, all for a 2-bedroom apartment. The minimum wage in China is the equivalent of $4 Canada dollars per hour. I don’t earn the minimum wage, but this should tell you how underpaid workers are over there. I’m ok with working hard and I have worked hard my entire life, got two degrees before 25 while studying as a non-English speaker, but I can’t bear the thought of not being fairly compensated for my work. In a freer and more transparent society, at least worker’s rights are protected. I could have chosen other countries to migrate to, but Canada seemed to have the fastest processing time and highest chance of accepting at the time, so I took the opportunity. I’m sorry for the Canadians who got caught up in a poorly managed immigration system. All I am saying is, if you are in my shoes, you would rather take this chance to move here - this could be the one of a lifetime window of opportunity.

I just want you guys to know that I live in a 3rd world country in Southeast Asia and make about $500 per month. I pay $100 a month for a 100 SQM room (I personally know the owners of the property), I don't pay carbon taxes, I spends less than $100 on food per month.

Wow any idea why people are crazy to enter canada bcoz standard of livibg is good in your country and any idea how much cost it occurs to stay and study in canada i am not good in conversions but lemme tell u its very very high people literally sell everything they have in india to go and study there now just assume why do people sell like crazy people just to study i mean think about it bcoz of PR they sell like crazy if they can invest that amount in india they can get a degree from good universities in india and good jobs but if the same amount is invested in canada the standard of living will improve by obtaining canadian citizenship now if u r sane person think about it its all about standard of living and its not crime to look for better life and at the start of applying in universities of canada a job and PR were available as options so indians applief there with that intention now if u change those rules overnight the money we invested is just thrown into dustbin and i dont know why people think its wrong things to even protest on that if u hate immigration that badly dont show ur anger on indians or other immigrants show that anger on ut government for showing us indians a better future and allowing us indians to enter ur country legally with PR in future prospect Nd why do u think even after such outrage on immigration canada yet allows immigrants bcoz its simple people spend like crazy for such oppurtunities and canada has taken advantage of that and now canadians like we got ur money so get out from our country wow i ddidnt know people can be this greedy and selfish.

Every third person that you meet in Canada in 20 years will be from South Asia. Most of us are economic immigrants and came here to live a happy peaceful prosperous life and contribute to the economy in the form of taxes. We are not a drain on the exchequer - most of our unproductive part of our lives have been paid off by India and now Canada is reaping those benefits. Did British people adopt the culture and customs of First Nations- did Italians and other Europeans adopt British customs- same applies to people from India- we will be bringing cultural elements but do not overpower the locals by any means.\n\ncrime town in canada is north Battleford, Thompson, red deer and Prince Albert and not Brampton. How many people from South Asia are in tents, homeless and drug junkies. Go to places of employment and south Asians don’t act as privileged- we are grateful to the country that is our new home and treat the land with respect and live with dignity.
